I tried a few of their different pizzas: pepperoni, buffalo chicken, and their Natick Hill special (grilled chicken, broccoli, garlic). It's town pizza, but it's similar to NYC style. All were fantastic! I would probably go for their specials or classic toppings, skipping the buffalo chicken, but regardless anything you get here will be good. I also tried their cheeseburger sub and onion rings which were some of the best onion rings I have ever had. On their menu they also have sandwiches such as grilled cheese and BLT sandwiches which go for $4!!! The staff is so nice and the food is always ready within 15 minutes of ordering. This is a great spot for pizza, and great prices to feed a bunch of people. It has definitely become my go-to in the Natick area.

My friend told me it was his favorite when he lived in the area. I placed my order over the phone - a mushroom pizza and a Vito Special (pastrami sub). The guy on the phone was less than delightful, as was the guy at pickup. However, the pizza was fantastic. My favorite pizza for my entire life has been Pino's in Brookline, and this was incredibly close, which is very high praise. My husband said his sub was delicious. When the food is this good, the charm of the people becomes less important. Be prepared with cash, because that's all they accept. I'm looking forward to returning. Highly recommended.

So I walked in and asked for a small cheese pizza with olives, then was pointed to a sign next to the cash register. The cashier made it seem like I needed to scan their QR code to sign up for the rewards system in order to order a pizza, telling me that I will save $5 on my pizza. I asked him if I could just order the pizza and he then started the transaction. Asked me for a phone number, I kindly said that I don't want to give out my number. He then points to my phone and says "¿You don't have a phone number?". Then I kindly asked if I could just pay for the food. Then he informed me for the second time that I would save $5 on my pizza today if I signed up and I once again kindly told him that I would like to pay for my food. Then he asked me for my name, told him my name, then he said "oh the system actually requires a phone number" so I give him a fake number. Then on the little monitor in front of me a little screen pops up asking if I would like to sign up for the rewards plan with the phone number I had just given him. He quickly pointed at the next button, don't know if he was going to press it for me or something but I press no thanks and he let out an audible sigh. I have no idea what that was about, but I am definitely not coming to this place ever again.

This popular pizza shop offers a selection of their signature NY style, Detroit style, Chicago cracker thin & Grandma style pizzas, wings, meatballs, cheese bread sticks, salads, and cold drinks. This shop is geared towards takeout which is order at the counter with overhead menu boards, open kitchen area, and 2 small tables to eat in. There are a few pizza places in the area which also make decent NY style pizzas and locally, they are now competing with Square Mfg on the Detroit style pizzas. Recently, I placed a scheduled online order through Toast for a Large Detroit Style Gambino Pizza ($28 plus tax). I headed over to Natick Center to pick up my Detroit style pizza. My pizza was coming out of the oven and being boxed when I arrived. I headed back to my vehicle, but I noticed the topped signature tomato sauce on the Detroit style pizza was missing. I walked back to Blue Square and informed them. They apologize and take back the pizza and top The Gambino with the signature thick tomato sauce. The Gambino has brick cheese, ezzo pepperoni, hand pinched sausage, ricotta, garlic oil, wild sicilian oregano, 18 mo parmigiano reggiano, and now topped with signature tomato sauce on a thick greased firm dough crust. Also, they hand me a second Detroit style pizza free of charge for the inconvenience, Hot Honey Pepperoni topped with brick cheese and tomato sauce. I enjoyed some tasty Detroit style pizza back at the vehicle. The slices were a bit messy and greasy as expected, and very tasty. I will have pizza for the next few days. They are still training at this location, which they just officially opened on June 22, 2026. I really appreciated the goodwill gesture and making things right. I also earned Toast points on my order and I will be back soon to redeem earned Toast cash at Blue Square Pizza.
