I went in for three slices of pizza, You had plain slices on hand, so the girl told me to wait with an attitude, like me standing there was an issue, no how long would it take to be ready, nothing. Then 5 minutes later, the same girl brought a pizza over and i asked her, if that my three slices, the same girl gave me a rude reply, No that's not your pizza. We always get delivery from Pizza Masters if we're feeling Italian. Amazing pasta. The chicken shells with broccoli is great. Spaghetti alfredo surprisingly tastes better than fettuccine alfredo. Pesto ravioli is sublime as well, has a lot of that cream and basil flavor. The lemon chicken is also really good as well, but too lemony for my taste. As previously mentioned, this place has amazing food. Also previously mentioned, the outdated decor. While the former remains the same, the latter is getting a full expansion and remodel! Today, I had to take a star back though. After frequenting this establishment for many years, I finally have had enough of the fluctuating prices. Whether it's lack of training, incompetence or simply not giving a damn, it's kinda annoying. Today, the pizza I have been getting for years was nearly $4 more than the average price I pay. Usually it varies within a dollar or two and I laugh it off. Today, I'm not laughing. Especially since I received a fairly snotty and dismissive response when asking for an explanation - which I really didn't get. I then checked my credit card receipt for the other dish I order here regularly. It also hasn't been the same the last 5 times I ordered ranging from 5 cents to $1.45 difference from what it should. Love the food, eagerly anticipate the remodel and strongly urge a reality check when it comes to attitude and pricing. After all, there are an awful lot if places to get pizza in Bayonne! read more

I haven't lived in Hudson County for over 2 years, but when I did, Pizza Masters was my go to pizza place! It's a family run place and you see the same faces who greet you like you're family. The pizza is amongst the best that I've had since moving to NJ from the south. Their side salad is amazing...loaded with pickled vegetables. It's a no frills place, and you will often find little league softball players there after their games. I live quite a drive from Bayonne these days, but still miss their pizza and salad. This pizza masters location is hit or miss some days the food is great and other days it is not. My family and i constantly order from this location maybe 2-3 times a week ordering different items. Sometimes simple items as pizza or sandwiches to dinners. When they are not busy and you get the pizza fresh it is delicious, other times you will receive cold food when for delivery and we live a few blocks away from the location. I do think they could use a little more vodka sauce in there penne and vodka. If you order it with fried chicken the chicken is litterally cut up and placed on top no sauce or anything on the chicken. As i said the place is hit or miss i have also never spoken to managers that are so defensive. I work in the food service industry myself and am a manager and would never talk to any customer the way they do. By reading the comments seems like they get it from the owner. The whole vibe and atmosphere of this place is not cozy or welcoming at all. The girls working the counter are not pleasant and do not make ordering easy or timely. They basically want you in and out if you're not white. All their employees working the floors are white and the ones slaving in the back are the hispanics. I was there with Tomar and while I don't fault the entire establishment I will whole heartily agree that the waitresses behavior was out of line. From the moment she approached us to ask "What were waiting for?" to the moment she shoved our order at us she made it clear in no uncertain terms that we needed to get the hell out of there. Her attitude and demeanor were very clear. As we drove home Tomar quipped that the waitress had been in such a rush to get us out that the pizza probably wasn't finished cooking and she was right. The pizza was not fully cooked. A soggy mess. Having been there a limited amount of times I cannot say if she is the standard or the exception, however I can say she does your establishment a serious disservice and she has cost you customers as we will not be returning. The food in this place is amazing. The Pizza is good but not the best, Patsy's in New York is one of the best in my opinion, PM is one of the best in Bayonne. however their Shrimp and Chicken Francese is the best not only in NJ but you will be hard pressed to fine a place in NY that makes it better. The Chicken Marsala is real good. My kids do not even order Pizza anymore because the Dinner menu is so good. You can't go wrong ordering dinner here. They have a pleasant and friendly staff. My family loves coming here over Olive Garden and Carrabba's. Once you order the Shrimp Francese you will not order anything else every time you dine their. My son likes their Meatball hero's. Nice updated dining area. The two times I came here they were always busy with customers so they must be a hit in the neighborhood. Aside from their pizza try their foccacia sandwhiches. The roast beef comes out hot and they are definitely not cheap on the meat. The turkey foccacia is not bad as well. I recommend this place for sure! read more

Dining room was 3/4 empty, 4-5 servers, 4 cooks, maybe 3 delivery drivers. My wife and I walked in. No hello whatsoever. When my wife and I was browsing the display feature, we were "gruntly" directed to order there... twice. The cashier also ask, "what do you want"... I could go on an on ranting what they did wrong, but I'm sure you all get the picture. Food review is median. Great pizza dough, great flavors. I give them props for that.
