They make a decent steak and cheese sub . Pizza is over priced! Need to pay attention to the A for dine in customers.

I live on Long Island and took my nephews to the Liberty Science Center. They grew up on Long Island and moved to Colorado so they wanted to get some pizza while they were here. We unexpectedly ended up at the Corner Square and were so pleasantly surprised at their pizza. We ordered a pie that was half cheese and half mushroom and it was absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfectly and had amazing cheese that stretched for miles with each bite. After we finished the pie and were leaving, I noticed the number of different types of pies at the counter and was intrigued by one called Brooklyn upside down. I asked the gentleman behind the counter, whose name was Pete, what that was all about and not only did he explain it to me, but he was so generous about giving me a slice to take home and try later which my family enjoyed. The pizza and the service was great and I'm so happy we stopped at this local pizza shop. If I'm ever in the neighborhood, I will definitely stop by again. read more

Hmmm well this pizza is very mediocre. Less is more!!! I decided to check this place out, cause I kept seeing it on TikTok. My gf and I order the Philly slice, two Sicilian, burrata truffle slice, and the garlic knot vodka Parm sandwich. Philly Slice- it lacks flavor, they put raw onions and cook it with the pizza instead of caramelizing them first then adding them to the pizza also I'm not sure if it's sliced cheese or liquid yellow cheese ewwww absolutely not. Sicilian slice- salty Burrata truffle slice - you just tasted the hot honey, the burrata seem more like ricotta cheese that was piped on there. Garlic knot vodka, Parm sandwich- this was a 8/10 had good flavor definitely needed some extra sauce on the side. I did ask for vodka sauce on the side, but I overheard one of the gentlemen behind the encounter telling the cashier that it should've been asked before I paid but not once did they ask me hey can you come to the counter nor say anything I would have paid for the sauce but it was absolutely disgusting how he spoke to the cashier. read more

Went to this place since Barstool was here, the round I got with sausage and onion was a bit too puffy for me and there was this odd sweetness that came from the slice, the fluffy part bothered me the most since it almost didn't feel like pizza but more fluffy bread. Cheesesteak- It was a good cheesesteak but comes off salty, I know they use coopersharp but I couldn't get over the salt factor. I tried to cut some of the richness with some ketchup but that didn't help. I ate half there and took the other half home, it reheated well. read more

I have tried Corner Square twice and I really really liked the regular cheese slice. The crust was perfect and the cheese/grease ratio was on point. I also had a burrata square slice which didn't reheat very well (the crust was too brittle) and I didn't really like it. On my first visit I had a cheese square slice. I would certainly be back but for the Andrew Tate quote that is on the wall across from the cash register. Gross. read more

Solid Bayonne neighborhood slice, but the real standout star is their $15 cheesesteak Its very comparable to the ones in Philly but closer especially if you are close to NYC. Cheese is nice and cheesy. The wait was long on a weekend, but totally worth the try! The sesame semolina bread was slightly hard when I had it but I would still get this again! Also as fyi, Dave portnoy rated the pizza a 8.1 . read more

I decided to give this place another try and this time I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and ate it there. The place is small but there are about 6 tables. This time the cheesesteak was cheesier so I would recommend you dine in instead of ordering take out/delivery. The girl who works taking the orders is a real hard worker. She takes orders, phone calls, she is also a waitress not to mention if you order slices she is the one who warms the up. What a great employee! read more

After going to the Liberty Science Center, my husband said we had to check out the pizza shop that was just a 10 minute drive away. We drove over and were so ready to try the cheesesteak Sandwich. When we walked in, the staff were patient as we figured out our order. I ordered the cheesesteak Sandwich which was orgasmic! The cheese they use is perfectly salty with the fresh bread and sauteed onions. It was so delicious. We also ordered the chopped chicken sandwich and the hot honey pizza. All that we tried was fantastic. They also have a clean bathroom for customers, which I appreciated before heading back to NYC after eating the delicious meal. There are a few tables to dine in, and it seemed like many people order their food to go. When I'm back in the area, I'll definitely visit again. read more

Thai review is for the cheesesteak alone. I have had pizza here in the past and it was pretty good. The cheesesteak was very good. Huge sandwich with perfect amount of cheese. Bread was on the money too which is important. I believe it is made on location which comes through. It's a tad bit expensive but it's a huge sandwich so you get what you pay for. Service is always great here. The sandwiches took a little time but we ordered a few so not a big deal. Will definitely be back here for other menu items. Great cheesesteak. read more

Tried Corner Square Pizza and it didn't let me down. I ordered a cheesesteak -- solid choice. The roll was fresh, meat was tender and well-seasoned, and the cheese was perfectly melted throughout. Not the best cheesesteak I've ever had, but definitely satisfying and worth adding to your order. Would go back to try more stuff , the cheesesteak's was solid. Food came out quick and the service was on point. read more

Came on a Tuesday for lunch. The place is clean and you're greeted with an array of pizza selections, sandwiches and bread knots. Everything looks delicious! We ordered a slice of grandma vodka pizza, to start. Amazing crust, the vodka sauce, divine. We shared the cheesesteak. This cheesesteak is massive, about 12-inches, fully loaded with meat and cooper-sharp cheese and sauteed onions. It was a major hit! DELICIOUS! Saves you a trip to Philly. We met the owner's son, who brought our cheesesteak to our table. Friendly guy and the staff service is impressive. A gem in Bayonne! Go and support. read more

I tried this pizzeria after seeing and hearing about their ratings so I figured, I try and see. Absolutely amazing and so delicious! We tried the Sicilian pie and wow! From the ingredients to its texture.. everything was perfect! The very first time we had actually called to place an order .. they had ran out of Sicilian bc it's that busy and pretty known around the area. The regular pies are just as yummy! Parking can be a little annoying but prices and service are totally worth the wait! Must try! Highly recommend! read more

I wish I had a picture to share but we are greedy. I will return if in the area - This was my 3rd visit so consistently awesome food! read more

I can say so far that everything I've tried at corner Square is very delicious. it's unfortunate that you have people that come on here and say negative things because they have a friend in the same business or they have an anal gland for a pallet. I've been a chef over 30 years. I really love Italian food. I grew up around Italians, my whole entire life if you meet 100 nonna s and you got recipes of the same thing you will get 100 different recipes no recipe will be the same for 100 Nonnas. . I love their eggplant Parmesan my favorite.... so far the Philly cheesesteak sandwich is really beyond. Excellent I'm sorry it's my personal opinion. I don't care about those well-known famous places in Philly in my opinion corner Square has an excellent Philly steak sandwich good quality meat excellent cheese they don't cut around corners and if you notice their menu is not really huge and there's a reason for that; they focus on giving you good quality food and they focus a lot on what they serve and they wanna make sure what they're serving the public great food good quality and that they don't wanna lose that greatness they serve you if you have a menu as big as a book you're gonna lose track and it's gonna be a bunch of problems and headaches so if you keep the menu simple you can keep track of what you're serving and the quality of your food and these guys do it. I actually put a picture on here of my hand with a fork going into the food because of somebody stupid comment I won't repeat.. but I could say as I do eat the food there. Number one the quality and the taste of food is excellent and I enjoy it personally Number two, Pete and Paul are two of the greatest guys that I met who are the owners and they are really good guys and they worked very hard to get to where they are today How many young men at 20 that own their own business that you know. As grown ups lets act like it since when do we discourage our young entrepreneurs. Lets give this young man and his dad big credit and welcome them to our town. every convenient for me I live down the block. I am so happy that I can go up the block and eat good food since they opened up corner Square I don't post lies . I don't care if you're my friend I don't care if I know you I will definitely give my true and honest opinion on food I will not hurt somebody make up stories. I will not team up with another business owner to destroy another everything I post on here is my honest opinion and that's all it is is my opinion and it's a guideline that if you try what I try and you enjoy it maybe we have the same pallet and you could follow me on yelp and you will know excellent restaurant And maybe we can share our experiences And another thing every picture I post on here every opinion is true and it's mine and I've been to every place that I post on here. I don't just ghost post. I do cook for my family and my friends. I do cook for myself and like I said, I was a chef, but sometimes I just need to treat myself and have somebody else cook for me. If you wanna be my friend or follow me, please do you're welcome. I accept you and we can share our dining experiences wherever we go. Yes i have told quite a few personal friends of mine that their food really sucked and they won't be in business for too long to their face believe me they were out of business faster than I thought they would've and I was just trying to be nice so believe me I don't BS ON here read more

Some of the best pizza in the United States. I'm not joking. You have to try this place 11/10 even the chicken parm sandwich.

Cheesesteak and chicken parm/vodka are both incredible. They are pricy but worth it. Best cheesesteak in the area. They don't put enough cheese but it's loaded with meat. And the bread is really nice. Quality meat. The pizza is a mixed bag depending on which one you get. I think the pies are overpriced compared to everywhere else in bayonne - they are not that special. read more

Corner Square - Time stamp when I placed the order and requested scheduled delivery time. - Pizza Near Me - Bayonne, New Jersey

Wow very good spot for pizza. They have many different types of pizza both round and square. The dough is fresh and crispy. Have good cheese not to chewy. And the flavor and sauce is well balanced. I had both a round and a regular square. And the square is a lot more crispier than the round so it's ur preference. The round is a more traditional slice. Both are delicious. But the shocker was they also sell cheesesteaks here. I had no idea until I seen someone eating it as I walked in. It looked really good so I had to order one. And so glad I did they have one of the best cheesesteaks in NJ. And definitely comparable to philly. And definitely just as good and maybe even better. They use cooper white cheese so u know they know a thing about a cheesesteak. The cheesesteak was stuffed with delicious tender beef and the right about of cheese. Stuffed in a seeded crispy long roll. It is a very big sandwich I couldn't finish the whole thing. But did save the rest and ate it later in the day. And was just as good. Definitely a must try. There's a few seats you can dine in. Or just grab and go. read more

The highlight is their cheesesteak. It's really the cheese and onions that make it, and the bread is nice and soft. Next up is their spicy pepperoni. I'm actually not a pepperoni fan, but this was probably the best I ever had. It was on a pretty good Sicilian pie that was soft with a slightly crispy bottom. Last up is the plain round. Pizza Masters and Starting Point are still the best for pure plain round. But this place is worthy to be one of Bayonne's top spots. They are pretty busy with deliveries so I suggest ordering in, they were quick and attentive. Ambiance is a normal pizza shop, but they do have outdoor seating. read more

Everyone in their mother has been telling me about this pizza shop and I decided to take the five block walk down and I was not disappointed and I don't think anyone else will ever be disappointed eating here. first, let me say the spot is very spacious so a good group of people can go in there and eat. They have a large selection of vof pizzas all different flavor sizes you name it. Looks like a family run joint and they're fast and friendly . I decided to order four different slices because I couldn't make up my mind. The first one was the Brooklyn special. The second was the angry Nona the third was the tipsy grandma and then the last one was a regular margarita square. when I tell you, this is the best pizza I've had I damn near my entire life . Like literally and I eat at a lot of different pizza spots because well part of my job is riding around the city ,and sometimes pizzas the fastest thing you can get but this right here !This is gourmet pizza and it's worth the price check them out & try everything you can read more

As a long time Bayonneite, I grew up with and enjoyed topnotch pizza for decades. Corner Square, a fairly recent addition to town, does Bayonne's pizza legacy proud with their offerings. Their regular cheese pies, Grandma Margherita, and their tomato pies (not on the menu; you have to ask for it), are nothing short of phenomenal. No reason to travel to NYC, Brooklyn or Orange for legendary pies: they are right here in Bayonne. Their cheesesteaks are otherworldly good. Best you're going to get outside of Angelo's or John's in Philly! read more

I am very happy this new pizza place opened within a short walking distance from me. I ordered a spicy vodka square online 23.50. It was a big pie and even with 3 people we had leftovers. We came at the time of pickup but it was not ready. While we waited we were given slices of the hot honey pizza to try. I know to not expect that every time, but it was very nice that they did that. It was crispy, flavorful and there was a mountain of pepperoni on it. Inside the place is small. There were 2 people eating in there but mostly it looks like people take out. It's also very grey inside, grey walls, grey floors and bright lights. Complete opposite of their warm pizza. The pizza is like a warm hug but the decoration is a bit cold. They just opened so maybe they plan to add some color in there down the line. The spicy vodka square has a thick and fluffy crust because it's an "upside down" pizza with the sauce on top and cheese on bottom. I did not taste one hint of spicyness or any Calabrian chili oil. Regardless we loved it. It was a big pie and even with 3 people we had leftovers. The service gets a 10! Super friendly. And yummy pizza. I really enjoyed it and will definitely come back. I agree with the other reviews that it's one of the best places to get pizza around. read more

I'm a huge pizza lover -- "picky," my husband would say, and Corner Square delivered on the first try. I ordered a plain slice (crispy, flavorful sauce, not greasy), a Philly cheesesteak (perfect balance of cheese, onions, and quality meat on warm, fresh bread), and a garlic knot chicken parm with vodka sauce (great concept, creamy sauce, and perfectly baked, flavorful bread). I loved watching the team at work in the well-designed open kitchen. The staff was attentive and friendly. As a marketer, I also appreciated the simplicity and impact of the branding/signage, menu, and packaging. Well done, we will certainly be back! read more

We saw this place on Yelp while traveling. Their pizza and cheesesteak were phenomenal! Highly recommended! Friendly folks, too!

First time here and definitely not the last! The service was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Everything we tried was delicious! The cheesesteak is excellent! The pictures do it zero justice but it tastes great. The cheese is blended through along with the grilled onions. It gives the cheesesteak an excellent flavor. The Brooklyn special (Sicilian) was delicious as well! It's impossible to see it and not want to try it. I would definitely suggest giving this local gem a try if you haven't yet! read more

Ok the food is good the only problem I have is that they don't make the food the same way they make it for ppl they know are doing a food review or content creators. I went there for the cheesesteak! Which I saw on TikTok and it looked amazing so waited like 30mins got and it was half the size of the 1 from the video and with hardly no meat I was furious! So the next time I went back I ordered it with double meat double cheese and it was amazing but cost like $23 ‍ the slices are really good I just wish these restaurants would make everyone's food the same ! read more

Amazing food here! Tried out a few slices to start. The pizza is very crunchy and light. You can tell they definitely use quality ingredients! My favorite slices were the Burrata, the Hot Honey & the Brooklyn slice! The Hot Honey had the perfect amount of pepperoni and hot honey on it, sweet with a little kick. The Burrata slice was also soooo good, it's best when you eat it fresh... right out of the oven! The cheesesteak was definitely one of the best I have had in a while! It had a whole lot of meat with the cheese melted underneath with onions mixed in... the bread that it is on was delicious as well! Overall a great spot, I will definitely be back soon! read more

A nice new addition to the North Jersey pizza scene, with absolutely phenomenal Sicilian specialty slices. My usual rule with trying a new pizza place is to try the plain first. My theory is if you can't even do that, I won't even bother with trying anything else. This time I did it in reverse due to the hype around town with this place, and how everyone raves about it. So we went in, and got one Brooklyn Special, and one Spicy Pepperoni slice while we waited for the plain pie. The plain pie was good. But the real star of the show was the pepperoni slice. It was packed with flavor, had the perfect texture and consistency (crispy bottom, tasty and delicate middle, and perfect crust). The sauce to cheese ratio was on point, and the pepperoni was top notch. The cheese itself was a level above your everyday pizza cheese, for sure. The place is new but casual. There are seats to enjoy a slice, but they do a big takeout business. Order ahead to avoid the wait. read more

This was my very first East Coast pie. Kept it simple with the Brooklyn special, although this place has some super yummy sounding toppings. All I gotta say is, FUC* yes!!! Bomb dough and sauce. The bread for the chicken parm sandwich was FUC*ING fire!!! The salad was perfect. It's a small place offering pizza by the slice or full pizzas. Tons of people came in for togo orders and all the tables were occupied. The staff was cool. I enjoyed sitting and listening to the locals chat. Very entertaining! I love it!! Everything is simple and done well. Great start to my personal pizza stand off of the East Coast. Can't wait to see what NY has to offer! LFG!!! read more
