Just wanted to write an updated review because it's been a while and it's still my go-to Italian spot! This time I had my spaghetti and meatball that's always consistent. Great meatball texture and flavor. Good sauce. Can't go wrong! I only get the spaghetti and meatball, plain or buffalo chicken pizza, and chicken parm sandwich. My gf switched it up and got the grilled Chicken on foccacia bread with smoked mozzarella, romaine lettuce, tomato and pesto mayo. She really liked it a lot and raves about it. The pepperoni rolls were a showstopper (and heart-stopper) -- the acidity from the marinara perfectly cuts through the gooey, scalding mozzarella. The Sicilian slice was not the best. Very doughy with powdery cheese -- similar to Domino's. Stick to the classic thin slices. The cheesecake was disappointing as well: sandy, gritty, and not very sweet or rich. Ordered 2 pies and calamari from your restaurant on 6/3/26. The Calamari was not good at all. Called the restaurant to let them know the Calamari is soggy and not edible . The manager on duty refused to make it right . Additionally she refused to give her name and give me a refind. I will not recommend this establishment. Do not go there they have poor service. I just got back from a retirement party at pizza master. Lets start off with the food I had the anti-pasta as an appetizer along with a few other people on the table excellent fresh very good quality cold cuts absolutely beautiful Table service excellent no problems no complaints. I asked the server to bring me a merlot wine holy mackerel. This is my new favorite Merlot wine. I will post it. It comes from Chile. Wanted to come to Pizza Masters since I lived in Jersey City years ago. This mini chain has a decent reputation, so was happy to hear that a family friend was hosting their daughter's birthday here. This location was really nice with a rustic barn vibe that I didn't expect. They rented out a party room that was beautiful with huge ceilings. Service was very good throughout. Bar was beer and wine with legitimate options for each. The main event, the pizza, did not disappoint. Just a well done, classic old school slice. Well balanced, and although I would've liked more chat on the crust, the leopard spotting underneath was good. They also had a white pie with garlic that was very good too. Antipasto was great as well. Tried a bunch of prepared foods too which were at least solid. Would definitely come back here, for a party or just a slice. Very good food and nice people. read more

I came here a few times with my family, and the food here each time is top notch! The pizza is always delicious (albeit a little greasy but not really a problem for me). I usually get a pepperoni pie with my sister to eat and it's always MASSIVE. It really is filling! I've also tried the Grandma Pizza, and it hits all those savory spots i really like. Had a really great friday pizza night with my husband here. Wait service is very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is rustic, modern and warm. The owner was walking around and greeting people. There were other families dining, other people on date night and older folks as well. It is a great everyone's place. $7 glasses of wine, and big pours. Small chefs salad is plenty for 2 people to share and has a lot of fun things on it like roast beef, mozzarella and turkey and pinwheels of delicious ham and cheese. We got a deep dish pizza. 6 slices and we took 2 home. We got it with vodka sauce and chicken. If you are expecting Chicago style, this isn't it. It is more just thicker and fluffier dough. The vodka sauce was really delicious and chicken parm was very thin. -Tortellinni and Alfredo sauce with breaded chicken added. The sauce wasn't too thick and was very flavorful. Tortellini were cheese and cooked perfect -Chicken marsala was one of the best I have had the marsala sauce had a nice thick body with the essence of the marsala wine and mushrooms. -Chicken wings, were sauce less and so crispy sauce is on the side. -foccia pizzas were amazing. I can't imagine how a pizza place that has been in business for decades employs such clueless incompetents who have no idea how to even make a pizza? Recently ordered a "so called" Sicilian pie and had delivered a mushy, under cooked inedible mess with the whole center in an almost liquid state! Just raw, slimy, wet and completely horrible. It was as if the dough was not even proofed. We could not even lift the slices up without them coming apart in pieces! Forget the fork and knife, you needed a spoon to eat this crap. I bought a meatball Palmer sandwich the first three bites, bread and cheese the fourth bite a little bit of a meatball fifth bite bread and cheese. Had some very good mushroom and cheese pizza from pizza masters. I always they think they put the right amount of cheese on their pies not too much or too little compared to the other places. I'd say they are the best pizza you can find between Jersey city and Bayonne. I've also eaten inside too and they are very good if you want a sit down experience.I've never ran into any problems with the cashier's/staff people seem to talk about on here.
