Barbecue Chicken Pizza
Mark H.

Simply the best pizza joint in town! Great location for an easy dinner when I don't feel like cooking. My family has ordered from here several times while living in Monroeville and are always beyond happy with the outcome.

A special did you have to request

I absolutely love this place!! the pizza is excellent!! All the food is so fresh and tasty and there are so many options. The manager Ender is so professional and always treats his customers with respect He also treats his employees the same! Pizza Marsala is by far the best food in The Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area!

I ordered a pizza for my 4 year old sons birthday who recently came out as transgender (female to male). I was chatting up the owner, trynna get some sweet deals & discounts ch'feel. Well he wouldn't offer any money off but he did throw in their signature blue milk pizza. The blue milk pizza comes standard for all transgender children below the age of 5, it tastes like a mix of kerosene and acetaminophen. Needless to say all the kids loved the blue milk pizza, except for my sons friend Dougan (who threw up blood as he's lactose intolerant. Dougan is always ruining things, so I can't say this upset me as it's what the little demon deserved. Sweet Justice) I will be returning to Pizza Marsala for my 1 year old's coming out party for lots and lots of pizza milk and hopefully a discount next time!

Ordered: Steak Hoagie and plain cheese Both were very juicy and packed with flavor definitely stop by or order spot!

Ranchero Buffalo Chicken Pizza (Medium 8-Slice)
Patience S.

Really good Buffalo Chicken Pizza (Ranchero version). Surprisingly different, although more of a ranch for taste would be admired. The chicken was great - fried & breaded, not grilled. There were also potato fry slices on the pizza. Giving it a different flavor. 1 slice of a Medium 8-Cut pizza will make you full, while 2 slices will make you stuffed! Will order again.

Small Vegetable Pizza

Pizza and Wings. Get them here, you won't be disappointed. The small vegetable pizza is LOADED with veggies. The veggies are fresh and perfectly roasted. Pair this with some jumbo wing pieces and you won't be able to roll off your sofa. Whatever you order, you'll get the symbol of delicious food: a greasy brown bag. If food could make bedroom eyes, the grease spreading across a simple brown paper bag would be it. Onto non-food stuff: The plaza is tight, but there is free parking AND a beer distributer next door to fuel your post-pizza bad decisions. The service is why a star missing- I ordered online and as soon as I walked in, saw my order waiting for me. The man behind the counter ignored me, another man messing with the oven looked at me then looked at his coworker ignored me, then he also ignored me. I smiled pleasantly and stared at at my food, debit card in hand. Finally, a woman came from the back, noticed the men ignoring me up front and came over to get my card. No frills, no haste from the workers, but it matters not! My order was ready, my order was correct, and my food was tasty.

It is very hard to miss. It sits in a tiny strip mall. Pizza was excellent. They have a very extensive menu. They also sell it by the slice. I look forward to trying more menu items.

WARNING - MAKE SURE YOU DONT HIT THE NO CHEESE BUTTON WHEN ORDERING A REGULAR CHEESE PIZZA. Monroeville pizza Marsala

WARNING - MAKE SURE YOU DONT HIT THE NO CHEESE BUTTON WHEN ORDERING A REGULAR CHEESE PIZZA. I ordered a large cheese pizza online and was getting it delivered to my house. Online there is an extra cheese & no cheese option. I thought the no cheese option meant you want no extra cheese! TURNS OUT THAT MEANS NO CHEESE at all on your pizza... I luckily had a little mozzarella in the fridge and put it in the oven .. We also ordered a steak hogue which was actually delicious The delivery time from my order confirmation email to the time it got to my house was like 45 mins The taste is alright .. It's not the best I've ever had ... The crust is very plain tasting .. but that could be a factor that I had to rebake the pizza and add my own cheese

Great authentic Italian cuisine with fresh ingredients. Nice Italian style decor with a family friendly atmosphere. The service is always on point, fast and friendly servers. Our go to appetizers are usually the homemade meatballs with ricotta cheese and crab stuffed hot peppers, both are delicious! I haven't found something I don't like here. All the chicken dishes are great including the Parm and Marsala are my go to dishes. A nice selection of seafood and veal as well. I've had catering from here and the chicken and beef dishes were great. The meal included mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. I especially love to support small family owned businesses. Highly recommended! The only problem I usually have here is what to order! Hahaha! Salute

We were greeted and seated quickly, then waited about 5 minutes before our server came. She was very professional and pleasant. After one bite of the Chicken Marsala I had ordered, I just couldn't bring myself to eat any more of it. The gravy was awful. There's just no way to describe it. Our server kindly suggested alternate meals. I chose Chicken Parmesan without cheese. It was delicious. That red sauce was scrumptious, though a tad on the sweet side. My husband ordered the Eggplant Parmesan and thought it was mediocre. (He judges restaurants by this meal.) Then he ordered the Chocolate Bavarian cake. He thought it was light and tasty. Not too sweet at all. Yummy. The Christmas music playing was wonderful to listen to but played too loudly. We prefer the music be in the background so we may have conversations. I had a headache until I left the restaurant. I absolutely loved how they decorated for Christmas throughout the whole restaurant! Their service is not fast, so this is not a place for a quick meal.

We tried the spaghetti aglio e olio, alfredo with shrimp and chicken Marsala. They were exceptionally delicious! The table also had some italian mules, espresso martinis and we then finished the night off with espresso. An absolute wonderful evening. It's hard to get authentic Italian food anymore , and I'm telling you that you will find it here ! We will be back.

My mom the matriarch, myself and my very Irish guy who loves Italian food too stopped at Shrodi's for an early dinner. Yes, I've been seeing the many posts and comments on social media. Yes, I know the very long family history and know the infamous shrodi from his restaurant back in the good ol' days. So that is my prelude to this dining experience today. We walked in and were greeted by Natalie who also lucky for us was our fabulous server. Italian. Authentic. Tradition History What is better than a quaint stone restaurant with a Basil garden thriving as you walk up? Well, a family tradition and staff who all welcome you as family .. yes, we know the family history of Shrodi. The menu was plentiful and the selections took much time to choose and with the outstanding help of Natalie we made our picks! What is cool is my mom is not a big eater anymore and chose off the senior menu which is very clever to have available and still had enough leftovers for lunch today. The stuffed banana peppers with Sunday sauce were amazing. Three served generously and one went home! Veal piccata was delish with a nice zest of lemon. Large portions! House salad with their house dressing to add according to our taste. Many kalamata Olives. Cherry tomatoes Fresh mushrooms. And freshest mixed greens Our Irishman picked his favorite penne with vodka sauce. It was the best he's ever had. And he's super picky. I have to agree! The added prosciutti and seasonings were truly mouth watering. The chef is masterful in the kitchen and believe me, every mouth watering taste was worth the wait! Natalie was fabulous and attentive to us from hello to see you again soon goodbye. Everyone waved goodbye as we left. Oh I forgot to mention they are making a bocce court out back to really add to its authentic Italian tradition and flair. It's a little bit of Heaven tucked away in Penn Hills! Do not pass it up!

Unfortunately, over the past few years there has been a steady decline in the food, and the service. Tonight, my family ordered take out. A family bolognase was one of the dishes & upon picking It up and taking It back home, we opened the container to find literally no sauce. The manager Dan offered the explanation of an "inexperienced chef" and "credit" toward the next meal. Additionally, the staff person who took the order, was simply unkind. To make matters worse, just recently I had a business meeting and had It catered by Pasqualino's. They failed to provide any dressing for a 20 person salad and made another large mistake with the order. They didn't offer to refund and also refused to deliver any of the necessary items to complete the meal. I give them 2 stars instead of 1 because i know there's potential in this restaurant, because It used to be good. I hope they can figure It out.

Haven't been here for several years but our group thought it would be a nice place to go for good food and conversation. The restaurant is pleasantly themed with its Italian roots. The menu allows for many differing tastes including sauce choices. I especially liked the sweet red pasta sauce. It's an area favorite and worth driving a few miles. I got to try the Sfogliatelle, vodka pasta, salad, and bread. I just live when places like this give bread, and high quality bread at that. Super soft and high quality. Add ons like that do really elevate the experience. And a solid side salad as well, with plenty of cheese but not very varied vegetable wise. The pasta itself was amazing. Very generous portion. A good amount of sauce, although not super evenly distributed. Perfect pasta and a really good, balanced vodka sauce. Really enjoyed this. The Sfogliatelle, it was my first time trying anything like this. It wasn't super sweet or all that flavorful at all, and was somewhat small. A bit lemony. Not sure if I'd have it again, but I loved the little crunchy sides and it was still pretty good. Overall, definitely a hidden gem in Murrysville. Loved the spot.
