a pizza box with a crown on it

We called ahead after a day of baseball at Grand Park and asked if they could accommodate 35+ people. They thanked us for calling ahead and invited us to come on over. The very kind and friendly waitress took really good care of us. She was fantastic, as she managed to keep all of us happy and well taken care of by herself at the 'front of the house' and her team did their best chefs work in the 'back of the house'. The pizza was fantastic (we ordered several) as they just kept the food coming out. I think we ordered one of each of the Feast Pizzas. As a pizza lover the red marinaria sauce was fantastic, and the toppings are incredibly fresh (and packed to the top) And you can eat 15 pizzas and not feel bad about it. When you get there you'll understand. Oh, and they do have beer - just listed not on the menu.

I called and ordered carry out, they said ready in 15 min. Got there to pick up my food and they only made the breadsticks no pizza. They apologized and said it would be ready in 7 min. Instead of remaking my bread sticks they let them sit on top of the oven while they cooked the pizza. Pizza came out smashed into the paper and hardly cut. Disappointed because I definitely love their pizza.

Delicious overpriced pizza. Half baked bread sticks are delicious if they remember to half bake them.

The dining room is comfortable with a mix of decor. The staff is super friendly and hustles, for sure. We had a couple different servers take care of us and each was attentive. Elaina, our main server, kept plates and beverages coming. The manager walked through the dining room a couple times. The menu is a mix of pasta, pizza and a few subs. They serve alcohol and have a good selection of wine and craft beer. Endless soup, salad and breadsticks come with entrees and kid's meals. The kid's receive an activity sheet and crayons and $6 meals come with beverages. Prices are really reasonable and portions are generous. No one had room for dessert. The Caesar salad is really good, with a refreshing dressing and lots of sliced Parmesan cheese. Even the kids ate the salad. They also enjoyed the breadsticks. My daughter had the house salad, which she said was good and they were happy to make it without onions. I had the Lasagna entree, which is a super large portion of hot bubbly cheese topped pasta. The sausage and meatball filling were good and the sauce was slightly sweet. I loved the lasagna. My daughter had the Hot Roast Beef sub that came with au jus and their house made chips. The chips are incredible. She liked her sandwich and said the bread was chewy and delicious. My SIL had the Jambalaya Pasta which was a beautiful dish of pasta topped with sausage, shrimp, chicken, bacon and tomatoes. He loved his meal. The kid's really enjoyed the Cheese-filled ravioli. The place is good for kid's. They can make a little noise and no one gets upset. Their drinks came with lids. (On Wednesdays, kids eat free). They have daily specials on M-Th. Bottles of wine are half puce on Tuesdays. They have a small bit of outdoor seating (for good weather) and a private parking lot. I'll be back, I like the people, the food and the casual, genuine vibe.

I had a pretty basic meal- spaghetti with meat sauce. There was very little meat in the sauce, and the sauce itself had a texture that would suggest that it was made with tomato paste. It was ok, but I wouldn't pay $20 for it again. The staff should probably keep their voices down in the kitchen area, because they can easily be heard in the dining room. Some topics aren't meant for everyone to hear, especially while eating dinner.

It's not much to look at from the outside - in small strip mall off Fall Creek about 2 miles north of 96th, but the inside is both luxe and comfortably cozy. At just 12 tables, you get your table for the night, so there is no rush and your evening can be as long as you want to make it. They also have a gorgeous little side wine room that you can rent for parties of 6-8 for dinner. And there's a little bar area that seats maybe 4-6. We had reservations for 6pm, so there were only 2 or 3 other tables occupied when we got there, but they filled throughout the night (& we left close to 8pm). Our server Shaunda was delightful, and the owner Dan came around and checked on all the tables a few times as well. We were presented with a cous cous amuse bouche, a nice refreshing bite to start the evening. Hubs had an Italian Old Fashioned and I asked our server to pair wine for me, so it was a Decoy Sauv Blanc with our first course - the mussels. We asked for extra crostinis in order to soak up more of the delicious sauce they came in. Next was the beet arugula salad, so good! For entrees, hubs had the pappardelle bolognaise and got an iced T, and I had the short ribs with risotto, paired with a glass of cab franc. Dessert was coffee (americano) for each of us, and we split the tiramisu (see all my pics). We ate and enjoyed everything! Total with tax was right at 200 before gratuity. So this is more of a splurge place for us, (of course would be less without the beverages we did) but we will be back. It was a really pleasant evening and another big win for me picking birthday places! #yum #ReviewsByRL

Once parked (plenty of parking right outside their door), walking in it is a very intimate, maybe no more than 12 tables or so. We did have reservations, I would suggest making them to be on the safe side since it is so small. As soon as we sat down, our server came right over and explained how the menu is laid out and how the courses are brought out. I will say, this is not a place to go when you are rush. It is meant to be slow, so you can settle in and enjoy your food, enjoy the company and just be in the moment. We were probably there just over 2 hours for just the two of us. Chef Dan came out many times to chat with us and really made us feel welcome. Telling us different stories, walking us through what we were eating, and just made us feel like we were special. While everything was amazing, a few standout things I would like to mention: The Mussels were amazing, such good flavor so if you are fan, make sure you order them. The caesar salad comes disassembled, and the anchovies are sold separately, (I didn't realize it when I ordered it), we ordered a few desserts and they were all amazing. Can't go wrong there.

My favorite dish is the vodka pasta, I'm addicted to whatever sauce they put in it. The photo I provided is a steak with honey glaze that was a special they were offering when I went for my birthday and it was also incredibly good. The first time I went there, I didn't like the first thing that I ordered and had to order something else. They removed the price of the thing I didn't like from the bill, which was an incredibly kind gesture that I would never normally expect a restaurant to do. The staff in general are so nice and very knowledgeable about their menu so you can trust their recommendations about things.
