Yooooo!!! When was the last time you had a Pizza Hut personal pan pizza!!!??? So, I was in the complex for something completely different (with a car full of groceries) I look up at see THE HUT! I HAD TO POP IN! I haven't been to a Hut in awhile! I use to always frequent the one next to Wendy's when my son was younger. This was so good! I got the traditional bone in wings (6) and I chose Cajun. I don't even remember Pizza Hut having these wing options lol the Cajun was good! I would suggest some extra dipping sauce on the side though. The pizza was amaze balls. The toppings were good and fresh! We know Pizza Hut has better bacon and pepperoni than anybody and baby they still do! This is only a take out location! Also, deals are listed online- there are no in store deals! Also, they do not offer a military discount.

Veggie pan pizza was marginally better, but still not good. Unfortunate.

We used to be fairly happy with Pizza Hut. Several years ago the sit down restaurant on Walton/University near the Wendy's closed, so we were a little disappointed. So we were surprised and pleased when a takeout-only Pizza Hut store opened near the corner of Adams and Walton in the tiny strip mall. (They should take the "Coming Soon" sign down since they are open now). My wife and daughter ordered a stuffed crust pepperoni and a pan veggie pizza, on the way home. Apparently, the service was impersonal and the prices were high. Nevertheless, when they got home the rest of us were ready to dig in. I usually hold to the old rule that even bad pizza is still pretty good. This was not true. The cheese in the stuffed crust was slimy and unpleasant. The thin crust that came with it was burdened by an unpleasant sauce and somewhat tasteless pepperoni. The pan pizza didn't seem like the pan of old. While it was marginally better than the other pizza it still wasn't very good. We questioned whether it was pan at all. I don't know if they costed out their ingredients, but I actually said "Little Ceasars is better than this." And I practically hate Little Ceasars. My wife wanted to just take it back for a refund. Unfortunate. We could have used a decent mid-price range pizza (above LC but below Kruse & Muer and Buddy's). Those last 2 pizzas are some of the best around but so expensive. We've been to this Pizza Hut twice. The first and last time.

i ordered for pick up and pizza is very dry. You can tell when pizza is new where there's oils coming out of the pizza. This is bone dry .

We decided to go by wing snob because I had a $1 fry coupon, and on the way over I remembered Wing…read moreSnob had texted me about their 20 traditional wings + regular fry for $14.99 deal. I placed the order online before I even pulled in -- love when that works out smoothly. We did 10 naked wings with honey BBQ sauce on the side for me and 10 Blazin Q for my husband (he was aiming for Snobby Q but pivoted). We also got a large salt & pepper fry and a regular lemon pepper fry to share. Everything was hot, fresh, and fried well. No soggy wings, no limp fries. The inside felt calm and welcoming, and the staff was cool and accommodating. Honestly, it was just a solid visit. Good deal, good food, no stress. Would definitely come back.

The tenders were very big. You could definitely get a 2 tender meal and still be satisfied. The Nashville dry rub was spicier than other places, we liked it. The garlic parm fries were good, but I'm not sure I would get them again, they were really oily. The ranch was really good and I'm happy that the combos come with 2 sauces with no additional charge. The tables were a bit dirty but that might be because they need to be cleaned after every use due to it being a menu of generally messy food. I will be trying it again!

I've driven past this establishment several times located across from the Oakland University campus…read moreon the west side of Squirrel rd. I finally found the time to stop in and sample a couple of items in their menu. I ordered their 1 slider with 1 chicken tender meal with a side of Mac and cheese. Even though I was hungry I ended up taking home 3/4 of the tender and half of the Mac n cheese side. I ordered the sandwich "hot" and the tender "medium" for the spice level. I enjoy spicy-hot food so I found the level of the hot sandwich tolerable. I don't think I could handle the two higher spice levels available. The size of the chicken sandwich filet and the tender were really generous. Served with their proprietary sauce and pickle slices, made for a very tasty meal. I'd put their chicken sandwich up against the other top-rated sandwiches from notable players. Tasty, crispy and served on perfect bun with pickles. I definitely will return to try the other menu items without reservation.

What's even funnier is there's also a new chick Fil A in the same parking lot. The benefit of Dave's Hot Chicken? They're open on Sunday! The locations set up like all the others, so you order at the counter and then they call your number out when the orders ready. I really like the food here because it's actually good. I usually get the # 4, which is a chicken tender sandwich with fries an a drink. I usually stick with the mild or lite mild spice, otherwise it's overpowering. Locations clean, well taken care of and even for a Sunday afternoon there was a steady stream of people coming in and out. I love it!

I'm pretty sure there was only one waitress for both the bar and the dining room floor. The menus were sticky, especially the happy hour and drink my news. Lots of different cocktails. I ordered a margarita and was asked if I wanted a flavor. I asked for mango but then was told later they were out. So I went with blackberry. The drink was fine. It wasn't the best margarita I've ever had though. It's called O Grizzly's and there's some Oakland University nods inside. There were quite a few patrons wearing Golden Grizzly gear, there was a basketball game that night. But the place still feels gimmicky to me. A way to market Oakland University people and get them in the door but doesn't do much else after that. There really doesn't feel like a true affiliation with the University. Bathrooms are single stall and felt clean. The menu is not too overwhelming. Went with the blooming onions and they were absolutely delicious. Hot onions with a crunchy batter and a yummy dipping sauce. I went with the Tandoor wings as it was really played up on their menu. I got medium for sauce. My husband got chicken tenders and we ordered a side of fries. I was disappointed with my chicken wings. They were a good size but the skin was rubbery and some of the chicken tasted chewy. Also, the sauce was very runny, didn't really stick to the chicken wings. I am not sure where the Tandoor part was to the wing? They gave about five half sticks sliced in half of celery for nine wings, not enough at all. I asked for blue cheese but was given ranch. The fries were thicker, cut, and swirly, which are interesting and they had a good seasoning on them. Our waitress was friendly and decently attentive, considering she had to serve every table and run the bar. Food was coming out decently fast. But getting our check and cashing out took a while. It got to the point where my husband just went up to the bar where she was so we could cash out.

Went for a second time, despite my last review…read more My son insisted on the chicken fingers again. Daughter required a pepperoni pizza. My wife had the fajitas and I decided on the Nashville Chicken Sandwich. The food came relatively quick. The chicken fingers were about the same but my son was happy. The pizza was pretty nondescript. I'd compare it to a low grade high school pizza with really nothing to recommend it. My wife appreciated the large size of the fajitas and salad but also found the fajitas unusually spicy. Sadly, the Nashville Chicken didn't really taste at all like Nashville Chicken. It wasn't bad but it just wasn't what was expected. The fries were good and we like the seasoning. But that's about the highlight of the night. I think this really will be the last time for me.
