(You have to eat it fresh from the fryer) The flavor is bold, savory, and once you start eating them, it's hard to stop. If you're into that sweet-salty combo, these wings definitely hit the spot it's the best in town.

When we informed the bartender we would like to dine in - she seemed doubtful. I offered that we could squeeze into two empty seats at the end of the bar - she immediately said no without any explanation why. Eventually she found us a seat but that was a very strange, off putting situation. On top of the poor service, the food came out after about an hour. Granted, the bar was packed but wings shouldn't really take that long...We had some canned beers while we waited because they were not serving beer on tap (at a bar!) The actual food was not good. I can't believe I heard so many good things about the wings. They were dry. The fish sauce wings were drenched in sauce so they were okay but the other wings were so incredibly dry. The onion rings were so burnt tasting as well but they didn't look burnt. I'm wondering if they cranked up the heat when frying to get things out faster, resulting in these dry, burnt tasting wings and rings. I would never come here again. It was really bad.

The draft beer menu is extensive, and Hannah took the time to walk us through it and identify beers that we might like, offering tasters for each recommendation. The deep-fried green beans also earned a 5-star rating, in my opinion much tastier than most french fried potatoes. The vibe is laid back and homey. There is enough space between the tables so that you can hear each other rather than your neighbors. What's this I hear about open-mic comedy nights? We'll be back!

The ambiance is definitely that of a pub, which was great! It was comfortable and cozy but also open and airy. The service was good; it took a bit for someone to come initially serve us, but once we were addressed, the service was quick! To drink, I had the Ayinger Oktoberfest first and followed it up with a Seattle Soda root beer. The Ayinger Oktoberfest was light and flavorful. I found the 0.3 size appropriate for me, but they also had the half pint and a stein which was HUGE. The root beer was sweet and cold and I was given a large amount of it. To eat, we shared some appetizers. My favorite was the kettle chip nachos. I've never had anything like it! It's a bed of kettle chips topped with bacon, cheese, and green onions. It was crispy, crunchy, and delicious; and perfect for sharing! I like how it was served on a baking tray. My second favorite was the French fries; it's a generous portion and they are so flavorful and fried to perfection. The only comment I have is that the curry ketchup served on the side wasn't for me. The last appetizer we got was the pretzel; it's BIG! I liked the sauces that it came with. Beautifully soft with a nice crust and pillowy inside. We enjoyed the trivia night that was hosted! It was so fun and well organized. I love the pub setting and decor with its rustic, cozy charm. The interior is spacious and perfect for groups of any size, whether you're watching sports, dining casually, or enjoying happy hour. It felt like we were in a different country. The menu offers plenty, from classic German cuisine to draft beers and more. We all ordered a variety of stuff, and everything looked appetizing. We shared a couple of starters--deep-fried pickles and the Brätzel. Both were great. For my entrée, I chose one of the Berliner Favorites, a Schnitzel Sandwich with a side of skinny fries. It was also delicious and filling. If you can't decide on what beer to try, they offer a few flight options. We also had to get the German Chocolate Cake shot! It's dangerously good! The staff was kind and attentive and made the meal experience even better. If I come back to visit the area, I'll consider coming back for more tasty German food and a refreshing beer! After the meal, we walked around town and found some cool spots for dessert and to hang out.

Based on the 159 reviews, I am going to assume maybe the business changed owners and the reviews reset. I will say, I have been reluctant to return here. I don't recall the food or service being impressive. However, on this visit, the service could not have been friendlier and the food was far better than I remember. In the past, we always came here for lunch and even though we came during lunch hours today, we ordered from the dinner menu. We wanted to try an entrée not offered for lunch and it was pretty good. This place did a couple things really well. Their soy sauce was homemade and their chili oil was full of flavor. I'll also say we were the only no Asian's in the restaurant and it's always a good sign when you have an ethnic business and your people are your main customers. We probably won't rush back, but I trust these guys to serve a respectable meal.

Typical and traditional for a family dinner experience with Chinese food. As it's meant to be served and shared with everyone. You don't typically order your own plate. On our visit we ordered the Westlake beef soup, fried eggplant with spicy garlic, seafood chow fun with gravy, and the salt and pepper fried chicken wings. Every single dish was served piping hot and fresh. The chow fun had a hint of the wok char which is super important. And each dish was delicious. The eggplant was so tasty. The garlic extra crispy and not bitter at all. The crispy coating around the tender eggplant- exceptional! The chow fun was well balanced. The seafood cooked perfectly. The chicken wings, I only wish it had more topping on it. But fried well, light batter and seasoned to perfection. The soup was light and with a little white pepper, I was so satisfied. We will definitely be back. The service was great. They were friendly. Just a tip, they don't take American Express.

My daughter ordered their Chicken Katsu plate and mine was the Kalua Pig plate. My daughter enjoyed the katsu and it was such generous portion. However I didn't enjoy my kalua pork. It had an amazing smokey aroma but the taste was nothing but just salt. The side dishes were very tasty however. At first, I was trying my best to eat it with rice but the salt in the end really got to me. Especially I have high BP, so I decided to let the lady behind the counter know. It was very nice of her to remake it but it was still very salty. By then, I didn't want to eat it anymore. She offered to remake it for the third time as the chef was feeling bad about it. I told her, it's OK. My mouth only tasted salt and I had chucked down so much water including the free drinks she offered. I was already full. My daughter tasted it and said it was OK and told me she would eat my kalua pork and I could have her leftover half of chicken katsu. Tomorrow is New Year's Eve. Got there right about when it's supposed to be ready and it was. The guy at the counter asked the name it was under and even asked for the last name just to be sure. I read in other reviews that they gave away someone's. Glad they checked. The wings were great. I popped it in the air fryer just a few more minutes just to make it hotter. The wings were seasoned well. I think the Louisiana rub one was slightly on the salty side. The lemon pepper one is always good. This was my first time having boneless and now I see why they were cheaper than the classic. The size is smaller and I feel like it has more breading too. We opted for no fries and more veggies. The sauce selection seems limited. One thing I like about BWW is their flavor selection. We got 3 sauces for 30 wings. The total was about $53. I didn't notice any hairs for the wings. My fav is still the lemon pepper classic. The lemon pepper boneless wasn't as good, I thought. The kids loved it and asked why we don't go here that often. It has been several years but I guess we will be going there more! Parking is ample but can be busy because of all the shops around that area.
