If negative stars existed, this location would deserve them. Repeated issues with late deliveries, missing or incorrect items, and unhelpful management have made every experience frustrating. Our last order was 48 minutes late, incomplete, and a promised credit never materialized. Overpriced and poorly managed--Route 66 is the far superior choice for pizza in the area. read more

I tried repeatedly to leave this info on the Pizza Hut app but was stuck in some crazy "contact customer service" loop that never went anywhere. Their mobile app is awful and their pizza has no cheese. Seriously, no cheese. And you can't contact customer service to complain. No cheese. Just greasy crust and dried out pepperoni. So after 5 months we decided to give pizza but another chance. We ordered 12 wings, 1 lg Hawaiian , and 1 large supreme. When the guy gave us our total of $75.00 (yep you read that correctly) , we promptly canceled the order. I had to give it 2 stars because this is my second review of Orting pizza hut. Now I'm positive the people that work there don't set the prices, and their delivery people have always been courteous. This place is notorious for not even answering their phone to place an order and when they do it's always with a poor attitude. On multiple occasions they've dropped calls mid order and they will never even have the decency to call back. It's like pulling teeth just to place an order. Then when you get to the store you'll stand there for 10 minutes without even being helped. Then they tell you the order you placed wasn't completed because they ran out of toppings but they'll give you a medium instead of a large! They are more concerned with telling people to wear masks than doing their SIMPLE job. Terrible all the way around, and that's not even mentioning the blandness of the pizza if you're lucky enough to actually get what you ordered. read more

I made an order using the app on 10/9/2017. This order was set up to be delivered at 7:30pm and was submitted online at 4:38pm. I used a coupon that gave me two large 2-topping and bread sticks for $22, with tax and delivery it was $29.42. Order was submitted and the wait commenced. I have a couple people coming over and I wanted the pizza there before they arrived. Well... 8:05pm and the pizza finally arrived... COLD! The pizza was so cold the cheese was hard like rubber. I only live less than a mile from this store. I attempted to call the store three times but reached a voicemail box all three times. The delivery driver didn't apologize for the pizza being late. I left no tip for the driver because the pizza was late (this is important to remember). I finally got ahold of the store manager the next day and complained about the issue. I got a half-asked apology and a credit to my account. Then... the next day. I check my bank account and I have been overcharged $3.00 for my pizza order. Okay...some might say $3 isn't worth complaining about.... but with the other issues I had...it was unacceptable. I got ahold of a store manager again. I told him I was overcharged and gave him my ticket number and order information. He tells me that it looked like the driver "accidentally" charged a tip to my ticket when he closed out for the night. How do you "accidentally" charged a tip to a credit card when the receipt is right in front of you. Remember... I didn't give him a tip. The manager then said he might have gotten my ticket mixed up with another one. It makes no sense. I feel like the driver was just trying to make a tip since he didn't get one from me. This time...the manager offered no apology at all. I got refunded only the $3.00 that was overcharged. I have contacted the corporate customer service and have escalated this issue. Hopefully this will get fixed. Until then...no more pizza hut. read more

It ALWAYS comes with no cheese on half the pizza. Why? I have no idea. I'm done trying over and over again and hoping it will come different. The manager gave me a $20 credit when I complained. On October 14, 2019 I placed a online order at this location for a latter pickup. After picking up my son we arrived a little early for the pizza. The woman behind the counter took my cash payment and said she could put the order in. I didn't see anyone build the pizza's so I assume they were already to be put in the oven. As we sat an waited we could clearly see the prep area. We watched as she used her bare hands to wrap what looked to be cheese with dough then reached into her jean pocket pulled out her cellphone read and sent a text put it back in her pocket then returned to wrapping. At that point I began to video her to see what else she would do. My son was so disgusted he made me promise never to go there again. We never heard water nor saw her wash after taking my payment. No stars is what's deserving. read more

TL;DR Pizza Hut doesn't need call centers, the "large-style wings" need to go, and the management at this location is horrible. Let me throw out there in general, first... Pizza Hut, y'all ain't big enough to need to use a call center. When I call my Pizza Hut, I expect to be connected to MY Pizza Hut. Your call center employees haven't ever helped with anything other than connecting me to my Pizza Hut, which is why I was calling in the first place. Get rid of the call centers; they're just a slap in the face to your customers. When you call, they ask how they can help; and like most customers, I tell them that I placed a delivery order and I need to add or remove X item from it. The call center folk can't help you with deliveries, so what's the point of them? Don't most customers use delivery as their service method? Okay, so this location is horrible. I've been ordering from them since March 2013, at which time, they were great. My pizza, pasta, and wings were always exactly what you'd expect and I had some really great drivers who seemed like excellent people... Then mid-2016 came around (I think that's right, whenever they decided to start serving the new "33%" larger wings); all of the sudden, the new wings came out and tasted HORRIBLE in comparison to their previous, smaller-sized wings (especially the fat drumstick style ones that don't get cooked as well), and starting around the same time, I could order two pizzas with the same crust, one pepperoni, one pepperoni and pineapple, and one of the crusts would be significantly larger than the other. Sometimes, my pizzas from here are so greasy that the pizza box drops (as in the bottom is not flat, it is a big bulge that causes the pizza to wobble around on your countertop). A bit later in 2016, ALL of the delivery drivers I knew and loved had quit. Two of the three let me know during delivery that they were about to quit because of how poorly they were being treated by their manager. Since then, their drivers pull into my driveway blasting music and drive way too fast in my neighborhood (no all of them, but more than one or two). Last time I checked (only a few months ago), I'm pretty sure that they still have the same horrible manager in there (twice, by the way, I went in for pick-up orders and he was just sitting on his bum, watching the Seahawks while two employees appeared to be SLAMMED with orders in the back). At my company, our manager steps in and assists whenever work isn't slow and that's how it should be. You're just a chain manager, you aren't any better than any of those that work beneath your position. read more

Worst, I mean the absolute worst pizza I've ever had. The Custer service is top notch but the product is horrible. Last night, 2/16 I ordered a pep stuffed crust and boneless wings. Wings were good, no complaint. THE PIZZA WAS HORRIBLE! I picked up a slice and the grease was so heavy. Soggy, undercooked, and nasty. I are here last year and had the same outcome. I would give 0 stars for the poor service I received last night, but unfortunately it isn't allowed. I ordered 2 pizzas last night w/ parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes on the side. My order was verified and delivered promptly. I paid $21.45 plus a $5.00 tip. Upon delivery, I realized the parm cheese and pepper flakes had been left behind. I notified the driver, who said she would be right back with these because we are literally less than 2minutes from their store. I waited about 20 minutes, by this time my angry toddler is VERY hungry but I know he won't eat pizza without "sprinkles" (ie parmesan cheese). I re heat the pizza and call Pizza Hut to check on the items to which I am greeted by a gal named Taylor who quickly becomes confrontational and condescending ( a manager she states) She checks our order and says the order didn't include these items, she failed to put me on hold as she confronts the employee who placed my order. The employee is asked if I did in fact order these items, the employee says " yes I think so", Taylor gets back on the phone and blatantly tells me the store is too busy to bring my items, not even apologizing that they were forgotten. By this time, I have a very hungry, screaming toddler who wants "sprinkles" for his pizza. I had to have a neighbor come over to watch my child so I could go to the store to pick up the cheese and peppers. Even upon my arrival, I did not receive an apology. I am beyond disappointed. I have placed MANY orders with the Orting Pizza Hut. At this point, I ask Taylor Clontz for her Manager's information to which she tells me she is the ONLY manager and that I can file a corporate complaint if I feel so obliged. Several other times I ask for a district manager and she tells she is THE manager. ( Today I found this to be untrue upon a call to the store ) I have worked in customer service for 9 yrs, dealing directly with customers and never once have I treated some one in this manner. I felt belittled, typically I would not complain, I would just discontinue my service. But the way I was personally treated was rude and not acceptable. I have spent alot of money with Pizza Hut since moving to Orting in 2011. Not anymore. You've lost my business. I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere. Thank You. read more
