My local Minsky's (Shawnee) has just remodeled, expanding their space while maintaining their outstanding pizza and great service. The bar area has been expanded so that there is a U-shaped seating area with double the capacity for those that just want to pony up for a drink. Tons of TVs line the space, generally tuned to some type of sportsball whether local or otherwise. Great sightlines, great seating, and excellent bar selection. Obviously, the pizza is the hook. But Minsky's has that pizzeria vibe, you know, when we actually used to eat pizza at the place that it was made before delivery was constantly a thing. Dine-in or carry out, you'll get a signature pie: the crust is unique, the sauce is robust, and every pizza is able to hold the toppings without flopping downward. Minsky's always has curbside pick up, and tip well for those young folks that are coming out to bring you your order.
