I thought these were going to be little boneless tenders, but what I got were large, chonky pieces. First impressions, great! Tried the BBQ: smoky, a little sweet, and not caked in sauce. The Orange Asian? Eh, they're good; tastes a lot like orange marmalade, but they're still good. There are bits of rind/peel that give it the character needed to be considered "orange". 4 out of 5. Potato salad wasn't that great: opened it and on first sniff I was a bit chemically. Taste was OK, but nothing over the top that would kick my socks off. Cornbread: sweet, a little dry, but would be good with the Mac & cheese. Overall, I would come back again. Good quality of boneless, sauces I tried were good, fries that came with the meal could have used less lemon pepper seasoning, but it was a good meal.

And I was so surprised on how amazing and incredibly impressive it was. I called about a half hour ahead so they could have ample time to make everything in the order. I came in, the store was very clean and had a very nice dimly lit, Italian Mob style decor and ambience to it. It was so fun to see the Sopranos on a mural in the dining area as I went to pick up my food. It was new and unique. I went to the cashier to pick up my food, and she greeted me with a smile and efficient service. She asked me important questions like if I needed ranch, napkins, a receipt, a drink, that sort of thing. It was good to see that even on the front line? The kitchen ensures that everything is brought out exactly as (if not better than) the customer ordered. I believe the owner came out as well for a brief moment. He struck me initially as a very strong business owner and a kind personality with both employees, and customers alike. I got my food and drink, and when I went back to work to eat it, I was incredibly shocked! It was still hot from the fryer, they put the perfect amount of sauce on the chicken, the corn bites were hot and fresh as well. I wasn't expecting to be blown away by a simple chicken plate, but I'm glad to be surprised. Overall? Go here. Get some chicken! Get a few sides too! It may be a mid-level price point for chicken, but it is so worth the few extra dollars for excellent service, clean store, and even better food. I'm very difficult to impress with food.
