Thursday and Friday sets its cozy, comfortable atmosphere apart from any other sandwich shop of its kind as they have a live, unplugged acoustic musician playing great music and even plays requests! It's a great place for a quick hearty lunch any day of the week, but Thursday and especially Friday can get you moving into the weekend frame of mind with the upbeat fun they provide! Unfortunately, DoorDash does not always allow substitutions or special requests, so I wanted to ensure the order was prepared correctly. During the call, the young lady who answered the phone was very impatient and abrupt, and her tone came across as rude. Because of this, I asked to speak with the manager/owner to share my concerns. In response, the owner stated that people were "bothering" the employee who answered the phone, later changing the wording to something similar. I was not trying to bother anyone. I simply wanted to make sure my order was prepared properly. Upon receiving my order, it was still made incorrectly after speaking with the owner. Being made to feel like an inconvenience for asking a reasonable question was disappointing, especially as a returning customer. Due to this experience and the lack of professionalism displayed, I do not plan to patronize this business for a while.
