We weren't asked how we want them cooked so I'm assuming this is just how the cook all the patties. What I didn't like were the fries. They were cold and chewy like they have been sitting around for a while. My son ordered a caramel and it was absolutely delicious. So that was a huge positive. Shortly thereafter, another young lady (I presume a manage), approached our booth in an huff asking about what we'd ordered. We were told that since we were getting the French Toast to go, the $4.99 price was not in play. That didn't make sense to us. We only ate 1/2 our omelettes and we were taking the remainder of that with us. So let me see if I've got this correct. If we had opted to have the French Toast sent out with our omelettes, then requested to go containers, that would have been permissible? It seems to me, it would have been more financially prudent to make the adjustment (at least in this instance) instead of just canceling the French Toast. Before I could offer my logic, the young lady abruptly walked away in a huff while shouting to the kitchen staff, forget the French Toast. My goodness, what happened to the customer is always right? What began as a day of celebration turned sour within minutes. I haven't been back since. Yes, the food at Mega is yummy delicious, no denying that.
