I have only had drinks here before last week, and I won't be back after my most recent experience; its too expensive for what it is. I ordered two tall Bell's Winter White drafts, and they were delicious, and I felt that $5.50 a piece was a fair price to pay. Drinks are expensive everywhere, so unless they are downright ridiculous - it doesn't usually influence my experience. I was, however, disgusted by being charged $2.40 for ranch and dressing. I'm a big believer in not paying for condiments in general. If its part of a meal or item it should be included, and the total cost of the food should reflect that. To spend $0.60 per tiny cup of dressing is insane! On principal alone, I can't go back to a company that nickels and dimes its customers. Go to Applebee's, or Kicker's in Grand Blanc, or Chili's, or Red Robin, or any of the other places in the area that offer reasonable food and service, without charging extra fees. In this economy, going out for a meal can be a very special treat for some people, and its a pity that this is how Buffalo Wild Wings chooses to treat its customers. read more

The Flint location is just like most of their other locations. Though it seems they're the only ones I've had to show my id multiple times a visit. You need your id to walk in late night, order a drink after obtaining it, apparently even if you're getting take away. Their selection is pretty slim and basic. Nothing special unless you want happy hour shots or cheap drinks. The food is okay but over priced for the quality of it. Though again, their happy hour sort of redeems their prices. Keep it small or go on one of their deal days, pretty good deals if you take advantage of them. The staff is friendly but always seems to put incoming calls on hold, even when staring it's not okay to be put on hold under time sensitive conditions. I'd recommend this location if you have some extra money and time to spend. Try it for yourself, maybe you'll have a better experience than the multiple I've had here. read more

Normally, I get fast food for lunchtime on a busy day, today I wanted to break the routine and have something a bit better for lunch. I order the 10$ wing lunch combo, and get cold, rock hard wings sent to my table. The fries were fine. I sent them back, and the wings come to me about 30 seconds later (clearly zapped) and still rock hard. You'd think microwaving them would soften them up a bit, right? 3 times I was sent stone wings, so tough that my fork literally could not pierce the breading. I'm surprised they don't charge for napkins. In general, the food is way overpriced for what you get, on top of the extras you are going to get charged for. Our chili cheese dip came out very runny. The manager came by to "inspect" it. He concluded that they must have just opened a new bag of cheese/meat.. Gross! He replaced it with salsa and charged us for it. The service was bad. We got napkins and silverware about 6 minutes after our ENTREE. She "couldn't find any". The all came out so hard you couldn't penetrate them with a fork. I thought maybe they're just extra crispy. No they we so hard I imagine that eating small rocks or pebbles would have been the same experience just shake in sauce and microwave. They were so hard that neither of us could eat them. I've never had anything other than the wings here, so I can't rate the other food. Asian Zing and Wild are my favorite flavors...Blazing is a bit too hot, but sometimes Blazing is like Wild and the other way around. They have a decent variety of beer on tap and staff is usually helpful. The ambiance is a bit too noisy for my taste and I think BWW needs to realize that not everyone loves sports. With so many tv's hanging there you would hope they would put up at least one news channel or something. But, no, the table was a bit sticky, the booth seats were slightly greasy and the condiments have visible crap on them. He took the order and said he would go on and put it in since they were opening shortly. He explained prices and was very patient with me. He kept me updated on the order when I got there. I went to the bar area while I wait for my order, the guy there was also exceptionally nice. My order came up right away, and the young man brought it to me and offered to go over the order with me, and made sure everything was correct. I was very happy with my visit. Worst customer service, ever. Long story short, mediocre food, and expensive. Daughters small order of boneless looked to me like the scrap chicken tiny chunks you find at the bottom of a bag of frozen chicken strips. The zinger was, after we had eaten more than half, my fiance started looking at his wings (he ordered a medium) and mine, (I ordered a small). He had one more wing than I. At the beginning of the meal, we had asked the waitress how many came in each size, because the menu doesn't tell you. Small was 10 to 12, Med. 15 to 18. So, he asked about it. First off, she said "oh, I wish you would have told me sooner!" Well, sorry. Your first response being that your customer did the wrong thing, isn't off to a great start. Then, she asked if he wanted the wings. No, at this point, it was too late for that, just adjust the bill to the order size he got, or a small. She came back explaining the mgr would only credit him a drink (not even his drink, but a cheaper one). We paid the bill. He asked to speak to the Mgr, because, it was principal at this point. She was rude, and impatient. Bottom line, they acted as if we had put the wings somewhere to weasel out of $5. Really? On a $40 meal? If your customer is not having a great experience, you find out how to rectify it, not treat them as if they are the problem. Big fat, NEVER, ever going there again. read more
