This is a good pizza place although I would have liked more sauce. You must love cheese because they use a lot of it but it's the good stuff. The toppings are ground down really well like the ground beef which I could really appreciate I don't like big chunks of meat. The dough seems like it was hand rolled and had a nice light garlicky flavor with a little bit of crisp. The breadsticks were hand twisted. They were little doughy but I think the flavor was there. We got the ultimate which I thought might be too heavy for the crust cuz they had so many toppings but it held up well. The mushrooms for canned which I would have preferred fresh but the ham in the ground beef and the sausage and a bacon and all that stuff was really tasty. I would definitely order here again but get a side of sauce you can dip it in. The ranch tasted homemade I don't know if it was but it seems like it and it was really good. The service was excellent it was ready when they said it's a little off the beaten path that's on main roads but it's kind of way out in the country between two main cities. there are other things in the area there's a nice taco place and some other shopping options and a golf course. Ordered take out while in the area. I had a calzone with sausage, pepperoni, and bacon. Be prepared, the small was huge! Two could have eaten from one small. Cannot comment on the restaurant since it was delivered, but they came sooner than the time promised and was still very warm. Would definitely go here again. It's meh... I've had better pizza, but this place isn't the worst. Will I come here again? Maybe. I hope they were just having an off day when I went. It was doughy and jam packed with cheese. Service was prompt although I have no clue why any pizza restaurant would not be open earlier on college football Saturdays during the season. My wife and i had heard good things about this place but after ordering up a couple of pizzas and bringing them home, we both decided that there are better choices in our immediate area. My wife ordered her small pizza with ranch dressing as she always does. She insisted that there was not any ranch dressing put on her pizza . My pizza was made correctly and with quality ingredients, but both of us felt that the crust was tasteless and entirely too much bread period. Disappointed at best. Next time we will stay closer to home and go with one of our Go To Pizza operations. read more

Bob's is the real deal. Arguably the best carry out pizza for your money in the Flint area, in my opinion, at least. While Flint has a lot of pizza options (both takeout/delivery and dine-in eateries), I've always found this one to have been the most consistent of all. Still family-owned, this small carry out only pizzeria makes its own dough and the workers will hand-toss your crust right in front of you as you wait. That's actually kind of fun to watch. No frozen crust here! Nope, I can tell by the taste. For me, a bad or even mediocre crust ruins a pizza and the crust here manages to always be consistently good, fresh and delicious, and not too doughy, dry, burned, thick or thin. As with Goldilocks looking for perfection, this crust is just the way it should be, AKA just right. Indeed, the crust is where it's at. Of all the veggie pizzas I've had in the area, this is probably my favorite. That pie, just like all their other pizza combinations, is loaded with fresh vegetable toppings and trust me, they don't stint on either quality or quantity. I stopped in a couple of weeks ago and picked up a to-go vegetarian pizza right before closing. Even though they were set to close in only minutes, they let me in, prepared my order as I watched and it was ready to go in about ten minutes, piping hot and fresh out of their huge pizza oven. I watched as they made it and it was definitely made with TLC. The cheery employees didn't even seem to mind that it was late and even took another order over the phone while I was waiting, even though they were within a couple minutes of closing. By the time I got my pizza home (I live all the way across town), it was still piping hot and smelled so good through the box in my car that I was tempted to pull out a slice while driving- no joke. It tasted like no other pizza around, as if it was crafted by an expert pizza maker in Italy, with an amazing crust (the kind that you can't stop eating), fresh toppings, plenty of cheese (but not too much), and a terrific pizza sauce with a lot of zip to it, not bland like it came from a jar in the grocery store. Most franchise pizzas (even the better ones) usually have a sauce that tastes a bit generic, but not Bob's. Now that's a pizza! I'm not kidding- the pizza crust was that good. I usually leave parts of the crust uneaten because the crust is often not that special, but not this crust. I literally savored every last morsel of it. For me to love the top part of the crust is something unusual, indeed. That crust, in tandem with those toppings and that sauce, made for the best pizza I've had in awhile. Beyond pizza, they also make really good pastas with homemade sauces and strombolis. Even a few of the pastas served with meat can be accommodated for vegetarians, upon request, but pizza is what this place is all about. They even offer a gluten-free pizza crust now! I honestly don't think I have eaten a better takeout pizza than one from Bob's and I don't say that lightly as I've tried pizza from just about every pizza shop in town and then some. Over the past couple of years, I don't think they've raised their prices much, if at all. For a family-owned pizzeria, they are still easily one of the best values in town. I definitely get more bang for my buck here. They've always been known in the area for their good quality food and reasonable prices, even though they are a small carryout pizza shop. I'm glad they haven't sacrificed quality to save buck. I only wish it wasn't all the way across town! For quality, price and service, I really don't believe there is much better in the area. read more

Bobs is not only close, but good. I don't think we've gotten one thing from there we haven't enjoyed. Great pizza, breadsticks, Stromboli and salads. I recommend their BLT pizza and BBQ chicken pizzas. My only advice is on busy nights, ask them to cook the pizza a little longer, sometimes the cheese gets too gooey if not cooked long enough. read more

Pizza is very good medium thick crust. Always plenty of cheese and toppings. Friendly staff. We have 3 go to pizza places in the area and Bob's is one of the 3 based on what thickness of crust we are in the mood for. read more

There's a level of quality and consistency that you rarely get anywhere anymore and while it may not be the best in the world you know exactly what you're getting every time, they're generous and courteous and you can't get a better pizza within 2 hours drive time. I would give them a zero if I could. We ordered an extra large pizza with three items on it and we had it delivered. The delivery guy shows up with a pizza that looked like it had been barely cooked and they had already closed so we couldn't get our money back or get another pizza. We called the next day and were told the owner was going to call me the following day. The pizza had mostly banana peppers and a sprinkle of sausage and pepperoni. Everyone that tried the pizza got sick. The owner never called and they told me that I couldn't get a replacement pizza nor a refund. They are so inconsistent it's ridiculous and the workers there can't even make a pizza. I will never recommend anyone to get their food. Either your pizza is undercooked or it's almost burnt to a crisp. Tried giving them a fair chance but any pizza establishment is better than Bob's. I will save my money for an establishment that actually cares about their customers. I have been a paying customer for three years and never had a problem until recent but if they don't care about a loyal customer I will definitely be going elsewhere for my pizza. read more

Good food if they would get it right but they never do anymore!!! I have been a loyal WEEKLY customer for for 10+ years but it has gotten increasingly worse over the last year or so. Always over cooked, even after ordering it lightly cooked. Given wrong size Stromboli with wrong items in it. The list could go on and on... They employ a lot of young teenage employees (which is great btw..) but leave them with no supervision. I guess I will give their competitors a few extra dollars a week because I will not spend my hard earned money on food and service that is substandard. I would not recommend this pizza to no one! It tastes like cardboard & is overpriced. You would be better off getting a $5 Hot & Ready pizza from Little Ceasers Pizza.
