This is one of the best pizza places in the area. If you live here you know this and we'll travel up to 30 minutes to get this pizza. The dough is stretchy and has a nice buttery flavor. The toppings are always plentiful, of quality, and diced small which I love. The portions are amazing the prices are right. It is a little off the beaten path but worth the drive. The ambiance is great it's on the corner in a country road so if you want to take the pizza to a park that would be ideal as well. It's not far from town so if you want to get it and take it to your house eat it and then go to town for shopping that's a possibility you can go to Flushing or Flint both are within 15 minutes. Came across this place while visiting family in Flint. Definitely a winner, in fact we all liked it so much we went back for the second time in the same week. The parm bread sticks were also great and highly recommend. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Just tried bongiornos for the first time. Writing this while I eat it. First off it's decent pizza. Second the girls (maybe it was the same) who took my order and took my payment we're both rude enough to turn me off. I know if I incounter it again I won't be back. Third the pizza place is in the same building as a pet grooming shop so that's a red flag to me. The price of the pizza is only acceptable when you order some type of deal. Last thing they need to do a little better on the toppings. Good flavor but a lot of pizza not covered for a three topping pizza. We just discovered Bongiornos within the last month. My son bought a house on River Road and this location is 1 mile away. We ordered our first pizza 2 weeks ago and it was wonderful. We decided to go for a second try and we were not disappointed. We ordered two large pizzas with three items and 1 large Greek salad. One pizza had pepperoni mushrooms and onions and the other had pepperoni green peppers and onions. The crust is a thin style crust, which I like and the Pizza was still hot after driving 5 miles home. Very yummy. The salad could have used a little more feta cheese and was a little skimpy on the beets but was still very fresh and tasty. We highly recommend and will be coming back in the future. Where do I even begin? Wow, there was a day when Bongiornos was easily one of the best takeout pizza shops in the entire county. That day has long passed. What can I say about the Bongiornos of today? Well, I'll say this- what was once a reliable pizza and pasta standby has utterly lost its edge. It's just not the same. I think the time has come to put nostalgia in the past and base it solely on what it is now- mediocre pizza and poor customer service. The last pizza I had from them was at my office, where the staff had ordered a bunch of pizzas from Bongiornos. It was terrible, under cooked in the middle and looked like a train wreck. I figured this must have been some kind of fluke. It had always been so good before. Well, not this time. Heck, even the cheese tasted "off." I think they started substituting higher quality cheeses for the cheaper versions. If that's what they were doing to save a buck, that's on them, but I was not okay with the swap. The pizza sauce seemed quite bland and flavorless, which was quite a shock. The bread sticks seemed stale, too, not at all like they were before. The pizzas were also stone cold by the time they arrived at the office, but I wasn't certain who was to blame on that front, though I did overhear the person that picked them up say there was a problem at the counter. Hmm. I tried heating a slice up in the office microwave, but that didn't help. I tried Bongiornos again recently and called in my order for two pasta dishes (lasagna and manciotti), including a half order each of parmesan sticks, to be ready at a specific pickup time. The guy on the phone seemed a little rude, but said it would be ready at precisely 8:15 p.m., the time that I had requested. We arrived at exactly 8:15 and long story short, we never received our food. There was an extremely rude woman in line ahead of us picking up TONS of boxes of pizzas, bread sticks and side orders. The guy at the counter kept replacing her food with new orders because she was complaining they were getting cold by the time she was paying for them. There might have been a reason for that- she was trying to divvy up the payment method on her humongous order 25 different ways. We stood there forever, wondering what the heck was going on. I watched them allow her to pay for the food she ordered (way too much to be considered a pick up order) in multiple different ways. They were all individual orders, but she had not arranged ahead of time to divvy them up that way. She decided on the fly after she got there to do so. I could tell that by observing her interaction with the guy at the counter and another employee (perhaps a manager). They had no idea she planned to do this, yet they accommodated it- to the detriment of other customers. After standing behind her in the claustrophobic, teeny tiny "waiting area" behind the counter and seeing with my own two eyes that she had already engaged in a number of transactions, I peered over her shoulder and spied her "take out list" with the orders separated 25 different ways. Yep, that's what she wanted them to do. I had no idea how much further she was intending to go with this or how many of her 25 transactions she had left to do, but I wasn't about to stick around another minute. Compounding the matter was that she kept insisting they replace her orders with fresh ones because they were getting cold. Gee, I wonder why! By that point, a third employee was called to the front to help assist with her order. All of the employees at the counter could see us standing there (with no room to move around) and so could the obnoxious customer ahead of us. At no time did anyone acknowledge us, apologize, or suggest suspending her order temporarily to handle the simple order behind her. They acted like we weren't even there, although they clearly knew we were irritated and had been standing around forever. We walked out the door and no one acknowledged that, either. I guess the VIP customer in front of us was all they could handle that day (insert sarcasm). There was a guy walking up to the door when we bailed and he turned around and left, too, before even getting in the door, after spotting the lady still divvying up her many orders. The counter was stacked sky high with her boxes. He saw the writing on the wall and headed for the car. Back outside, he asked me how long I was waiting. I said, "too long." He said he hadn't ordered ahead and just wanted a cheese pizza, but wasn't going to wait, either. Mind you, this lady was there when we got there, had no doubt been there awhile already and was still inside at the counter after we left. In the car, I called to complain- the guy on the phone brusquely said, "we just can't get to every customer." Seriously? That was apparently the excuse, even though I had a call ahead order waiting. All I can say is that they lost a regular customer for good. I hope the troublesome VIP customer with the ridiculous request was worth it to them. read more

I don't normally leave reviews but I'm still in shock with how awful my experience was tonight. Ordered one pizza and a small cheese bread for pickup. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Arrived at the business and waited 9 minutes shy of an hour. My food was lukewarm. Very disappointed. Please don't lie to your customers about expected times. When told 30 minutes, it shouldn't be tripled. 1.5 hours. I would have taken my business elsewhere. Maybe you need to turn business away on Saturday nights? I have finally found MY pizza place! We've been all over the county and beyond looking for the best pizza and I've found it. The breadsticks were amazing! I ordered 2 pizzas. One with ham and pineapple, the other with pepperoni, ham, ground beef, onions and peppers. Both were amazing but I'm a little more partial to the ham and pineapple which is odd for me.
