Our hosts order several pies ahead and they we ready when we got there. the next 10 minutes in the car tested my will power, they smelled great. Delivery guys know me by name now, which should tell you how much pizza I buy from them and for good reason. Of the probably 300+ pizzas I've bought from this store, only like 2 were complaint worthy. I always pick this place over Little Caesars when I want pizza and am never disappointed with my decision. Well, somehow there was an issue with this card and they didnt phone me, but the delivery guy showed up anyhow. I told him I dont have the cash and we ended up calling the manager, who accused me of stealing the pie from them, because I didnt have enough cash, I wouldn't pay with my credit card and the visa gift card (supposedly) wasn't working. They left the pizza with me when the delivery driver left. I assured the manager that I would go to the bank the next day and I would be "in" to pay for the pie the next afternoon. That's exactly what happened and I havent ordered another since. I got no apology, despite my gifting Visa Gift Cards to several workers there, who helped me get unstuck from their back parking lot in the dead of winter and that was only maybe 6 weeks before being called a "thief" by this manager.

The key to any pizza is the crust, and the crust is even more important with Chicago-style pizzas. They have it nailed at Roma's. It was the first time I can remember that I actually ate the crust-ends on a Chicago-style pizza! Ask for a side of their meat sauce for dipping -- decades old recipe that is truly delicious. The mozzarella in the pizza was also quite memorable -- It's stretchiness was an 11 on a scale of 1-10! The facility feels cozy but actually has a large capacity, including a large banquet room.
