One male employee was on the phone taking an order, and the female employee working this evening came up, clearly saw us waiting, and completely ignored us. Instead of asking if we had already been helped, she proceeded to take the order of the customer who had just walked up behind us. It was very frustrating and discourteous. We were actually about to walk out because of how we were treated, but fortunately the other employee finished his phone order and was able to help us. If you want customers to continue coming back, this employee could benefit from additional training in customer service and basic courtesy. A simple acknowledgment and asking whether we had already been helped would have made all the difference.

If I want to take out a Chicago-style pizza I go elsewhere, but if I want to sit and have a brew and a Chicago-style deep pizza, I come here. Why? My wife prefers NY-style and I prefer Chicago. We can each get ours here. Excellent selection of craft brews. Beautiful, if a bit loud, rooftop seating. Also, my wife doesn't typically like pizza, but she likes it here. Service is almost always good, but we had a rough experience with awful service once, and ONLY once. I don't know what was going on that night, but it has been corrected. By the way, don't miss the bathrooms. They're kinda fun.

It ended up being a blessing as the pizza was good and we had leftovers for later. We ordered at the counter from their menu that had lots of good options. I liked that the pizza sizes were on the wall so you could see how big they each were. We ordered the Sweet Heat pizza. There were only a few parties there when we arrived, which was great since the inside is not that big and it was super hot outside. When our pizza came out 15 minutes later, it was piping hot. They didn't have the stands to raise the pizza up so it took up a lot of space on our table. The honey was a nice touch and the peppers were cooked perfectly, not under or overcooked. There could have been more quantity of toppings, but it was fine. Also note they don't have sweet tea here.
