It looks extremely similar to American catfish, but it's an entirely different species native to Vietnam. And while its looks may deceive you, its taste will not IF you are a true lover of catfish. So why give Touch of Flavor flowers? Well, they are only one of two restaurants I've encountered that stated upfront their fish is Swai and don't try to fool you into believing you are being served American catfish. I greatly appreciated the forewarning and decided to give their Swai a try anyway. The fish was cooked nicely and seasoned well, but I'm still not a fan because Swai itself lacks flavor and in my opinion tastes watery. But for their honestly I'm rounding my overall rating up. This location is a spin-off sister restaurant to the extremely popular FLAVOR RICH restaurant in Suwanee, GA. I've eaten there a dozen or more times and have never had a bad meal, so this location came with built-in credentials. That being said, I'm not sure if I would return. The mac n' cheese I ordered needed another 10-15 minutes or so in the oven. It was very liquidy, but still good. The candied yams and fried shrimp were also good, but the fried pork chop was just okay. I was told it was amazing, but I didn't find that to be accurate. [ SERVICE / ATMOSPHERE ] They seemed to be a little busy for just two people to manage, but they got the job done. Still it was a longer than expected wait for the food. The interior features a couple of tables that look rather upscale for the location, but who's complaining about that :-) [ FINAL THOUGHTS ] Overall I would rate Touch of Flavor 3.5 stars.
