This place will always get five stars from me. I've never had a bad experience and their food is amazingly good. My favorite and go to is The Original in sourdough. The small is more than enough for me so hat a plus. Another favorite here are the sugar cookies. I recently realized they have soup but it was nothing to write home about. When we arrived, there was a lady with a dog inside the restaurant not a service animal, first impression not good. Second impression, same lady wanted to pay or use a coupon from her phone (iPhone says is all). Now a line of 5 people behind us as she still fiddles with her iPhone. We ordered the original sandwich and I had the Reuben. The sandwiches were pretty good. It is hard to get into this place traveling east as you have to make a u-turn in a busy section near the highway. I am not sure we would venture back. I couldn't recall what I normally like but the staff suggested a few things and I immediately recalled what I wanted and it was delicious. I'm a long-time Schlotzsky's customer, but my experience recently might very well change that. I ordered through the app and a glitch placed my order at a wrong location. As soon as it went through and I saw the location, which was 2941 Lawrenceville Suwanee Road, I called them immediately. The manager was belligerent and refused to refund my order. He then said that he "forgot" how and that I would have to call back the next day to talk to his manager Roukesh. I called the next day and Roukesh said he had no intention of giving me a refund regardless of the circumstances. He didn't care about the situation, was curt and unhelpful. If they'd been a little less confrontational, l would have been happy to drive the distance to pick up my food. But after their poor interaction, I didn't feel comfortable dealing with them. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of service and my interactions with Roukesh and his manager underneath him. Again, I've been going to Schlotzsky's for decades and there is a very good chance that I will stop altogether based on my interaction with this location. Are there standards for owners that carry the Schlotzsky's name? Are people representing Schlotzsky's not vetted so that they can maintain the proper food and customer standards? I'm disappointed that the app had issues but I'm most disappointed in the management at the LAWRENCEVILLE-SUWANEE location. Roukesh knows that you can't treat customers like that and still have them buy from the Schlotzsky's locations in the future. Avoid this place and save yourself the trouble. Go to McDonalds or anywhere else where they care about your business, because Roukesh doesn't and Schlotzsky's doesn't appear to either. Thanks for nothing. read more

I called 40 minutes before closing and for a I get there 20 minutes before closing and they tell me that they can't open the door. They're only taking payments through the drive-through. I don't have a car. I literally just walked for 20 minutes to get here and buy my food and they're telling me I can't get it unless I go through the drive-through. They were very rude very unprofessional and when I for a manager, they didn't wanna let me speak they also don't have any sign up saying that they lobby at six and only taking orders through the drive-through. When I get food in-store, things are always prepared perfectly. When I get my order delivered, there are always things on my sandwich that I requested be removed. This is the 3rd time it's happened and I won't order delivery from them again. First time eating at a Schlotsky's. At least the best I can recall. It's possible I ate at the one in Dunwoody, but it would have been so long ago I truly don't remember. Was going to try Brown Bag Deli but I didn't want to go in like only 30 minutes before closing so came here instead. I have to say it was pretty dang good. Round bread instead of square or rectangular so therefore a bit smaller but was good. Had the pastrami Rueben and a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. The soup had actual decent sized pieces of broccoli which was nice. The only issue was like mist sandwich places, I don't know where they came up with their idea of a bowl Is. Chicken Salad Chick is the same way as are others. Their paper bowls seem so small especially for the price. When I order a bowl, I would like an actual bowl size. That being said it tasted fine, and even the bag of chips with their name on the bag was good. While nothing tasted overly salty, a look at the nutrition labels show a high sodium count which is a bummer. Panera and other places are unfortunately the same way. I will return even though it's a little bit out of the way for me, but I did enjoy it. They did bring me the wrong soup at first, but I noticed it right away and told the guy and he promptly brought out the correct one. Traveling in GA when I pulled off an exit to find something for lunch. I was very happy to see Schlotzsky's Deli as I hadn't been in one since I lived in TX twenty years ago. I was very disappointed. I am not sure if the menu items and quality have changed over time, or perhaps I am remembering their food incorrectly. In either case, I was very disappointed with the quality. There is an array of menu items from which to choose, so no shortage of quantity of selections. I chose the Pick Two combo: Broccoli cheese soup and a half of French Dip on a pretzel roll. Nothing wrong with either one, but just not tasty. Sort of "blah." The restaurant was old looking, so that didn't do much for me in terms of feeling good about eating there. Hardly any customers. I appreciate the fact that they've closed down their dining room once again as case (and death) counts have spiked again in the area. Too many restaurants have continued on with "business as usual" when they should be taking *more* precautions right now. So one star back for that. That said, one star off for charging full price for drink refills when the dining room was open, but the drink fountain was closed. And another star off for charging for pickle spears and then not putting them in the order sometimes. Should you visit Schlotzky's Deli? Well that depends on 2 things... here's an honest review from a first-timer point of view after visiting this location. Pros - FLAVOR FOR DAYS! If your tired of eateries that dont know how to season food, look no further - Schlotzsky's has you covered. I had the chicken and rice soup along with a french dip sandwich and there was flavor galore - which is a good thing because I'm an amateur chef myself and my palate needs a lot of flavor to enjoy the meal. Cons - UMM, EXPENSIVE! And I hate to use the word skimpy to describe the portions, but... I tried the "pick 2" menu option, meaning you can try 2 items for one price. I paid $9.32 for half a french dip sandwich and a somewhat small cup of soup. Needless to say, I was still hungry afterwards. Sorry guys, I'm an average guy trying to make a living - I can't spend $10 for a skimpy lunch no matter how good the flavor. Conclusion - if your wealthy, live it up and enjoy. Today at lunchtime was the second time I have visited this restaurant through the drive through. The first time it was good, today not so much. I bought a Scholtsky's Original and a Cinnabon Middle of the roll. The original was dry, like it had no sauces on it, the same with the Cinnabon. I was very disappointed! Schlotzsky's menu is a bit hard for me to comprehend. They do sandwiches, pizzas and salads. On top of that this one serves Cinnabon cinnamon rolls and carvel ice-cream. It's a bit of everyig which makes me nervous. The two times I've eaten here the food has been good though it is a bit on the salty side. I've tried the original and the windy city sandwiches between the those two I would recommend the original. A high point of the meal was their chips. They have the usual suspects of chip flavors such as BBQ, Jalapeno and sea salt. I've had the BBQ and jalapeno and they both were surprisingly good. Service at the restaurant is good and there hasn't been much of a line on both visit's. I'm sure I'll be back here at some point for lunch. read more

Ordered Schlotzsky's through UBEREATS first time. I ordered the Deluxe Original sandwich for my husband and the four pack Aloha Brisket Sliders for me. Sandwiches were delicious, however, it was too expensive (over $15) and that was with NO DRINKS NOR CHIPS included, so unless Schlotzky's offer coupons, I am better off sticking with Arby's or Publix subs sandwiches. I would give them a 0 if I could for customer service. I called them after getting home with my drive thru order only to realize I have no dressing for my salad the person who answered isn't helpful! I explained the issue, she was very unwilling to help fix it. I would have liked at least a credit for a future salad without asking for it. I went to your store in Suwanee at 1058 am. The good part was I arrived 5 minutes before opening and a member of the crew was nice enough to let me in so that I didn't have to stand in the rain. After waiting for a few moments, the cashier beckoned and I placed my order.....only one other person had ordered before me. First off, the cashier is in dire need of education on the menu. When I ask "Whats your tuna sandwich like? Is it tuna salad or more like a melt?" I do not expect the answer to be "Uh, I dont know...Tuna?" With my prompting he was good enough to go inquire and came back and said "Tuna and mayonaise"...since both melts and tuna salad have tuna and mayo in the ingredients list I was left no closer to my goal of discerning whether or not the Tuna sandwich was worth getting. I figured out though, that given the quality of employee I was dealing with, that it was going to be a lost cause. He works in a sandwich shop so why should he be expected to know the difference between Tuna Salad and a Tuna melt? Or what the ingredients of menu items are? Secondly...the place smelled like a nursing home. This is off putting for a place people where people eat. Third. It took about 4 or 5 minutes for me to get my sandwich. I had settled on the medium turkey and guacamole and understand that it takes time to put turkey slices, lettuce, onions, and guacamole on bread. That time however, should probably be less than it takes to type out the process which I just described. Why on Earth did it take so long? As the second person to place an order that day I must inquire as to whether or not one order is enough to back your staff up and cause those kinds of delays. If so, perhaps some training on rapid sandwich assembly should be in order? The sandwich tasted ok, but not worth the 8.54 that I paid for the sandwich and a small drink. This was my first visit ever to Schlotzsky's due to the prompting of a coworker. They made quite an impression. read more

The other yelpers here are correct. It will be interesting to see if this location gets their bugs worked out, or if this will be a Schlotzsky's that will always have a lot to be desired. I had the smoked turkey on dark rye and a Cinnabon(Cinnabon was my reward for waiting in the drive-thru for 20+ minutes.) The sandwich bread seems to be tough around the edges and order accuracy could be a problem. I will return occassionally to see if things get better.
