I leave - without the food I paid for. Call KFC corporate - round and round in circles trying to get a refund. Call the store to get the manager's contact information. Employee (likely the same employee I dealt with in the store) has an attitude and tells me my order is ready and wants to know if I'm going to come pick it up. I tell her I was there to pick it up and was told there is no order. The employee tells me I gave them a different name. Not true - as I placed the order and paid for the order, under my name. The same exact name I gave when I attempted to pick up my order. Call KFC corporate again. Another gigantic waste of time. Over 24 hours later and still no refund. In fact nobody at corporate has called or emailed. KFC clearly doesn't place any value on customer retention. I go to the store today and speak with the manager. He tells me it will be a couple days before I get my refund. Nice.. Now KFC is borrowing my money - interest free - and wasting my time. On the off chance that someone with KFC stumbles upon this: PAY ATTENTION. This is how you lose customers forever. Every aspect of this attempt to purchase food has been a miserable cluster****. I'm not sure your team's performance could have been worse. It isn't just the Bridgeton store. KFC corporate made a bad experience worse - almost as though they take it as a personal challenge to outdo the lousy customer service provided by some employee who has zero customer service skills.
