Pizza and service both great. Staff was super friendly. I usually have take out. Had the chicken vodka pizza today. I as so pleased.

New owners , pizza was dry and hard . Asked for an eggplant sub , it was over cooked very little sauce ! Cheese on sandwich was brown from over cooked . Girl was very rude . Coming back up north from living in VA for 6 years and this was the first local place we tried! It was so nice to get actual delicious NY style pizza again! Thin crust, good toppings, great cheese to sauce ratio... can't complain unless I'm being a nitpick and then I'd only have to say that I wish the crust was cooked a little more as we personally like it a bit crunchy. Haven't tried anything other than pizza yet, but I'll update when we do! Staff was friendly and fast. Update: The garlic cheesy bread is a delicious standard app. The calzone is great too. read more

Growing up at the shore, Cape May area, I grew up loving Sam's pizza on the Wildwood Boardwalk, and Italian affair in N Cape May is a very close second. Since moving to Bridgeton 18 months ago I've tried many pizza places, I have to say without a doubt Joe's is my favorite. Pizza is very good, pretty much our "go to" in the area. They changed their Grandma's Brooklyn Style pizza, not as good now. More like Sicilian pizza. Steaks are good, meat is very finely chopped. read more

The only place I'll get pizza in south jersey, and believe me, I've tried every other pizza place. The guys who work there are great, they know my boyfriend and me personally now, simply from coming all the time. They even asked my boyfriend where I've been after I moved away for college. Last time I ordered the caprese pizza, which was nicely done. The pizza is quite good for the Bridgeton area: thin crust, quality ingredients, a solid layer of cheese, and crispy only on the edge. That is to say that the slices are floppy. Some people have strong feelings about whether pizza should be floppy or crisp. De pizza non est disputandum. read more

There is something about pizza made in the New York - Philly area. I have grown up in Wisconsin and spent much of my adult life in the Chicago area. Wisconsinites tend to like their pizza's with cracker thin crust and lots of toppings. In Chicago, there seems to be fans of thin crust, thick crust, deep pan and stuffed. But east coast pizza seems to be in a class all it's own. That brings us to Joe's Pizza. I am not sure if this is the best or the worst. But it seems like this is typical for "New York Style Pizza". The crust was soft and doughy, the toppings were pretty simple, fresh. whole mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, basil leaves and olive oil. We also ordered a standard cheese pizza. I loved the tomato,whole milk mozz, and basil leaf pizza. It was fresh and the flavors just seemed to stand out. The olive oil made it seem greasy but it wasn't really, just had a drizzle of olive oil on it. And the fresh basil gave it just the right kick. The standard cheese pizza was just that, a standard cheese pizza. I did not eat at Joe's, someone in our work group picked it up for lunch. But the taste of the pizza is still fresh in my memory and I am looking forward to an opportunity to try it again. read more

Shit even dominos,pizza hut,and papa johns makes better pizza then this place and in the place it means so depressing and it looks like you went back in time to the 80s . There pizza is so good. The crust is baked just right and the cheese is placed evenly throughout the pizza.

We ordered 2 plain cheese take out pizzas and we were disappointed! The crust was good, but the pizza had hardly any sauce. The cheese was very salty and didn't taste like mozzarella. My adult children thought the cheese must have been cheap and low quality. Won't go back. read more

Friend told me they have the best cheesesteak in town. It was really good. Of the 4 I had on my 5 day trip, it was number 2 behind Shiloh Market. Very friendly. I went back the next day for an Italian sub.. it was pretty awesome too! Wish we had this place in Utah. read more

I've been a Bridgeton resident for six years now... and Joe's, which I have found only in the past few months, is simply... the winner. All memories of pizza as a child, are here. It's delicious. Better than what I;ve had in Philly.Bteer than what I've had... anywhere! Don;t get me wrong... if your from Lancaster, and your thinking about how you miss Pasquale's in East Lampeter... you will seriously rethink what you love.... because Joe's next to ShopRite, in little ol' Bridgeton of all places... is just amazing! Not just for the area, but in general!!! I cant believe i havent tried this place before!!!
