My mother made a take out order by phone this week and when she went in to pick up the order the two women at the desk saw her, got up and walked to the back to continue talking. There were no other customers and they clearly saw her. She had to wave, speak up, and wait a full minute to get their attention. The woman who finally served her was extremely rude and condescending. We will never be back to this location. For overpriced pizza you at least expect a modicum of service. read more

The food is delicious. Ambiance is clean and simple. The service is adequate but not exceptional. I arrived and shouted into the abyss for help for 10 minutes. I could have robb*d the place and no one would have caught me. (They were all outside in the parking lot.) A manager person finally appeared and seemed mildly annoyed that I was there and shouting. This review is based on delivery only. Was hesitant about ordering from this location based on other reviews, but was so happy I did! We arrived in Baker City rather late in the evening from a long drive up to Wallowa Lake. We didn't feel like going out, and our Motel 6 manager suggested Pizza Hut for delivery. I called and placed my order. Their minimum order amount is only $5! We ordered a personal pan pizza (1/2 pepperoni and mushroom, 1/2 cheese), a small order of garlic parmesan boneless wings (8 count), and a small order of traditional hot wings (6 count). Total came to $29. I was told it would be about 45 minutes for delivery. 30 minutes later our food arrived! We were pleasantly surprised! Everything was a nice temp and delicious! Dining in tip: order off the $5 deal menu, otherwise you're gonna end up spending $16 for a medium pizza which is sheer highway robbery. For the same price we got a pizza and cinnamon rolls. The first slice of my jalapeño-mushroom pizza was mediocre, but then a strange thing happened. The more I ate the pizza, the more I enjoyed it. By the time the two of us had destroyed it, we were both very satisfied. I liked that there was a ton of sauce, particularly concentrated at the crust so that it wasn't dry when we were finishing the slice. The jalapeños were actually spicy and the mushrooms were the real thing, not canned. While other Pizza Hut locations make their pan pizza crust a greasy nightmare, the cooks here did a great job with it. In fact, the best part of the dining experience was the friendly staff. They take pride in their pizza and brand, which I really respect. I wish workers at more chain restaurants were like them, instead of acting like they hate every single minute of their time at work (which...they probably do). read more

I had a random desire for a late night pizza, and decided giving Pizza Hut here in town another chance was the way to go. I gave this business 2 stars because the delivery guy was nice and the order came fast. I spent $21 on a large 2 topping and an order of cheese bread. The order was online. The ordering process is easy enough. The pizza arrived in roughly 35 minutes on a Wednesday night. The pizza was so thin I could see through it in places. The toppings were few. The taste was akin to a bit of cheese on cardboard. A two topping pizza was a bit over 1/4-inch thick. It was cut poorly with not just different sizes, but some cuts overlapped others making for a massacre of a pizza. The cheese bread sticks were overcooked, thinner than expected, and again, tasted like card board. The cheese on top was so horrible it peeled off other slices like paper when grabbing a slice. I will never order from this Pizza Hut again. The quality is not worth the price. read more

The pizza is good classic pizza hut pizza and the staff was all nice (of course it wasn't the most amazing customer service ever but its a pizza hut in Baker City, it was still pretty gosh darn good). 2/15/2014 6:00 p.m. We figured its been a while since we have eaten pizza so we decided to go to pizza hut. We chose to dine in because the last two times we had stuff delivered it took nearly 30 min longer then the estimated time due to "a lot of delivery orders". And to top it off after agreeing to give me a 10 or 20 percent discount on the second time cause it took over an hour and fifteen min to an hour and a half they stiffed me and I had to pay the whole amount. So we come in and sat our selves because we were basically told too. Which didn't bother me cause I wanted to sit down, even though I don't think anyone should have the option to seat them selves in a wait to be seated restaurant even if they know the person. There response should have been to seat us or to say be right with you. Then we order a beer, large Pepsi, 3 kids sodas, 3 pan pizzas and a large pizza 1/2 taco and 1/2 meat lovers order of buffalo wings, order of boneless buffalo wings, and bread stick sauce. Well we get our drinks and for some reason she was afraid to put the beer and sodas where they need to be. They end up practically on the opposite side of the table from me and I had to divvy out the beverages my self. Then they bring over some breads sticks.......I didn't order bread sticks I ordered bread stick sauce. They did give me the sticks at no charge but the waitress looked at me like I was crazy. Then we get our wings and our kids their pizza and we eat. Several minutes later, we're done with our wings the kids are basically done and yes we still don't have our pizza. I have another beer and the wife gets a refill on a soda and still no pizza. Finally I ask if my pizza was done and just as I suspected the waitress forgot to add it to the ticket. But instead of just owning up to the mistake they blamed it on being under staffed. But it wasn't just that, it was also them trying to do too many things at once. So I asked for it to go. And to make maters worse the pizza finally makes it to the oven and it gets burnt. They tell me it will be 9 min and they will have another done. So while waiting I ask the waitress if I could get a box for my bread sticks and a box for the personal pans, but I get one and had to cram it in. Finally at long last we get our pizza still had to pay 38.00. and left at 8:00 pm. read more

The first 2 times we came we had excellent service, 5 stars. Food was par. Today (8/8/19) a woman seemed to be struggling with her electronic system with another customer. Her annoyance with us was noticed by all; As we were given apologetic glances from the customers she was trying to help. 5 minutes later the worker at the counter scoffed "you can just go sit wherever you want and I'll be with you whenever I can." So it's been years since I had a Pizza Hut pizza. last time was in the 90's and it was the worst. But, since moving here I thought I'd give it a whirl. So I ventured in and ordered a medium 2 meat, 2 veggie topping pie. Let me say the place was clean although someone was working on a car in the parking lot. The help looked sketchy and not really professional looking as other parlors. So I ordered and it rang up to $17.89. WOW! for a medium pie with just two meats and some olives and onions? Well, the onions never made it on the pie but lesson learned. It tasted ok but not eighteen bucks okay. Yea, I know they have specials if you buy two but I didn't want two, just one. So, I'll stick with the guy down the street and bake my own for half the price and much tastier and professional looking employee's. I love their pizza but tonight my husband and I walked out because of bad service. There wasn't anyone there when we came in so we were seated and ordered Pizza and salad bar and sodas. I've never experienced such poor service in my last 20+ years of eating out, until last month here... Ok, I get it, labor costs are high in Oregon, and it's a small town, but that shouldn't mean waiting literally 30 minutes for our pizza when there were 5 total tables in the whole restaurant. Now usually this wouldn't bother me as much as it does. Why? Because the tables that came in 10 and 15 minutes after us got their appetizers and pizza before us. Maybe we had a difficult order? Nope, half pepperoni and half hawaiian. And the worst part was her response. Because of the uninformed delay, she offers us free salad from the salad bar, not that I wanted anything at that point from them. No apologies and still no pizza at this point, after a 30 min. wait. Instead we drove further up to Pendleton and went to the Pizza Hut express...100 times better service! These guys sucked! Felt racially discriminated! Ordered 1 bloody pizza and some fries. She told us the food will be ready in 15 min. 45 minutes later when I went by to check on the order - she gives me a blank look and then started putting the order in. When I asked her what was happening she did not respond and did not apologize either. I told her that if the order was not in yet, we would leave and she shrugged! I understand that baker city, Oregon might hardly see non white people... But to pretend to take an order and ignore us for a whole 45 min is just not acceptable! Ok I am not the person to leave a bad review as I know how much if an impact that can leave however I just had a very frustrating experience with these guys. I called in for a delivery and all was good they told me my total was $11.60 and it would be 35-45 minutes..I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes and finally decided to call back and check in on my order i was very nice and just i just wanted to check on it. She was very rude and then out me on hold for a couple minutes. Then she told me it was slammed in there and it would be headed out for delivery soon and would be another 15-20minutes.. no apologies or anything. 14min later the pizza is here but she tells me my total is $15 something!
