Working in the area and I definitely had to check out the "home of the dollar slice!" And I also got a chicken parm grinder. I got a can of Dr Pepper and ate my delicious slice of cheese pizza while I waited for my chicken parm grinder to be ready. My grinder was made with fresh chicken and I loved it. The guy behind the counter was very nice and kind. The place could definitely use some cleaning up but it's more of an in and out experience. Don't skip out on this place! read more

I love this place! Family owned and operated. Simple, quick reasonable prices. Great crust on the pizzas and awesome grinders made to order. How can this great place rate only one star?! They have the BEST GRINDER ROLLS AND PIZZA CRUST - just to begin with... They have genoa salami and cappicola ham and vegetables from their own garden. They were serving great food at very fair prices since they started (1969), and they had a much less enjoyable space on Cottage St . And now they've had a much improved "house" for quite a while. I for one have never been disappointed; there's no place better in this whole area, unless you want to pay double for "organic" attempts... COME ON PEOPLE!!! read more

Absolutely terrible, had problem with veal cutlet grinder, veal was like shoe leather , real bad and was not just small piece, the whole thing was bad so I didn't eat it and called to explain and Jim Pasco, one of the owners told me not to come back/ anyways I brought it back anyways to try and explain and show them it was all bad grizle curled up crap and they wouldn't even look at it , then the girl behind the counter said I must have false teeth because it's her favorite meat, anyways they would not replace it or return my money/ this place does not deserve anyone's business/ only satisfaction I got was making a scene and I will never return to this restaurant again!!! read more

We wanted grinders and knew that in the past this establishment served the hot Italian sausage grinder that my wife and sister-in-law really wanted. We ordered the sandwiches and beverages and the owner and I discussed the prior review that he was a very gruff individual - - we did not find this to be so. He stated that he showed respect to triose who showed him respect and I can definitely get behind this. The grinders came out and were delicious, the beer and soda was ice cold - - I have to admit that we returned three more times in the eight days in Easthampton. read more

The owner was rude and found it necessary to correct my grammar while trying to figure out what street I lived on then I paid 22.50 for the greasiest pizza iv ever had when the food arrived the little amount of cheese that was on my pizza was dipped towards the center I recommend no one orders from there the service is horrendous and the food follows not far behind read more

My sister recently moved to the area and I was visiting over the holidays. After a day of winter hiking we were both staving. She wanted to try out a new place, we decide to be bold and try Pizza House. Our first mistake was eating in, Welcome to the twilight zone. The place was clutter with tables and chairs. The layout honestly looked as if it was more of a storage space for old restaurant furniture from the 80s rather than an operating business. The tables were littered with dirty plates and leftover food. However the place was empty. There appeared to be 3 employees but I think one of them was just sitting around watching tv. Our second mistake was ordering anything on the menu. The food was below average. If I wasn't so damn hungry from hiking all day I wouldn't have eaten any of my food. I'm not a picky eater so thats saying something. Finally the service was bad. It was obvious that The person who took our order dgaf. The individual was fairly uninterested in making our experience at the restaurant slightly pleasant. I would not eat here again. I wouldn't even get takeaway or delivery. read more

The owners of this restaurant should never be allowed to run a lemonade stand let alone any food service business. Recently, a senior couple walked into the Pizza House while We were suffering through a grease laden pizza and suddenly out of nowhere they were verbally accosted by the owner shouting at them that the last time they were there , they did not pay an extra $5.25 for the change in pricing in the menu. What they failed to say was that they, the Pizza House, changed the prices after the couple had paid their bill and left. The owner verbally abused them until they forked over the money in cold hard cash. We sat there in total shock while the greasy wild man was shouting and pointing to the bill that he had tacked up by the cash register with the couples name on it. We could not believe how he treated his customers. Does he not know, the customer is always right and without a customer there would be no Pizza House! Are you kidding me! These people should be charged for elderly abuse. I asked the couple why this was happening and they were in total shock and had no idea of being accused of sneaking out on the bill that they already paid!. I don't think I have ever witnessed such arrogance and disrespect from any restaurant in all my years of travel. We were passing through Easthampton and stopped here to grab a quick pizza before heading on our trip through New England. I encourage every one to pass this Pizza House by and the folks at Dominoes will treat you with respect. We can't imagine why anyone would give these food pirates a dime let alone sit in this squalor that they call a dinning room. The only creatures that seemed to enjoy the place were the red eyed cockroaches In the corner nibbling away on day old bread crumbs. read more

Save your money and your time unless you really enjoy being ignored by the arrogant owners of this place and then getting over-charged for their mediocre food. They should have shut the doors years ago, but are able to remain open due to their other incomes...ie: the package store and apartments attached to the pizza shop. Back in the 70's and 80's, they were good, but that has all changed. The most ignorant klutz there is Jim. They can never do any wrong and all of their problems are the customers' fault. They will never admit to anyone that they made a mistake , and I have witnessed them arguing with people if confronted with a simple mistake. I could go on for a long time, but I have more important things to do. Consider yourself warned.. Stay away !!! read more

I was in town recently visiting friends and relatives and came here with a group. What a terrible experience. They completely messed up the order and were rude about fixing it and making things right. We were patient and tried to make the best of it at first but soon discovered the food wasn't very good either. That was the last straw for me so I said "OK, that's it" and told everyone we were going to a better place down the street (begins with an "N" and ends with "ini's"...a true landmark Italian place on Cottage St) where we had an excellent meal with outstanding service. Everyone agreed we should have gone there to begin with! I think the PH owners and staff were surprised we would just leave after paying for all the food and drinks but I was picking up the tab and really didn't care. The owners/managers of this establishment are rude, shortsighted, and really shouldn't be in a service industry where they have to deal with the public. Everyone from the group was unanimous in deciding they would never order food or go here to eat again. If I could give negative stars this place would be rated a negative 5. read more

This has been my favorite pizza since I was a kid. Admittedly I always order the same thing - eggplant and hot peppers. Their pizza has extra thick cheese with a nice brown toasting to some of it. Eggplant is breaded and hidden under the cheese. Great! Now I want a pizza. read more

Best pizza in easthamton. No customer service skills but none needed-pizza speaks for itself

This is the restaurant to come to if you appreciate customer service. Last night I ordered a pizza at 7.30. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I got there at 8.10 and it wasn't ready. I have learned over the years that they usually run late. I was told it was going to be another 10 minutes. 10 minutes turned into 20. I paid for the pizza at 8.30. You would think they would offer me a drink on the house, give me a 2 liter bottle of soda, or discount the pizza for my inconvenience. Didn't happen. I get home with the pizza to find that it was a sloppy mess. The middle wasn't cooked and we had to put it in the oven. My wife called Pizza House to say we have been loyal customers for many years but we were disappointed tonight because it took an hour for the food and it wasn't properly cooked. She was berated by the owner. He was loud and rude. In a loud voice he told her it was cooked and if you don't like the food, go someplace else ! He also said he was watching the clock and I was 10 minutes late to pick up the pizza. Lucky me. I was 10 minutes late and I still waited 20 minutes. My wife couldn't believe what she was hearing. I called back and didn't get a chance to speak. He said if my wife and I are having a fight, we shouldn't take it out on him.(?) He said if we don't like the food, go someplace else. I have been ordering food from this place since this summer, and I have never been disappointed about my food from Pizza House. I order my usual meal which is bake scrod serve with fries and coleslaw. Let's just say that the fish is tastefully delightful, fries are crispy, and coleslaw is excellent. Why anybody would knock this place down is beside me, maybe they expect this place to be a gourmet restaurant or maybe they were on a date and expect a fine dining experience with candle lights. But if you just want good food at an affordable price then Pizza House is the place. I would definitely order from this place again, again, and again. read more
