You can tell a good pizza place based on its crust and their crust was top notch. I usually leave my crust behind but with their pizza, I ate ALL of it. They have gourmet quality pizza but their location is not fancy. It's like a high-end Dominoes but for delivery none of that matters anyway. This one had seats and they were not crusty. Decided to go with the Ultimate Spinach Pepperoni Pizza because the menu picture made it look appetizing. When the pizza came out, it looked immaculate and closely resembled the picture. That's rare. Pizza was great. Used high quality ingredients and none of the yucky stuff. Stopped in to give the new neighborhood pizza restaurant a try. First time here and was very disappointed. There was only one couple ahead of us that were waiting to place their order. They ordered a large pizza, salad and desert. We placed our order for a thin crust small cheese pizza with tomatoes and basil. It was a simple and straightforward order. We waited indoors for our take out order. The couple ahead of us had received their order and left. We waited another 10 min before the counter person approached us and asked our name for the order. The counter person then starts looking through boxes of orders waiting for pickup or delivery. To our surprise, she then tells us it will be another 5 minutes or so. Wait.. it's a small pizza.. seriously.. She then explains they are putting the tomatoes on our pizza now. Waited a bit longer the manager tells us the same thing. How long does it take to put tomatoes on a small pizza. We asked if they forgot our order. They said No. looking around our small pizza is nowhere in sight. Straight up lied to our face. No apology or any sense of care at all. We asked for our money back. They gave us our money but again missed yet another last ditch effort of opportunity to make matters right! Poor poor management. Had to ask someone and they pointed the direction. Ordered the Combo in large. Got it home to find a smallish large. Usually my hubs and I can only eat half of a large when we are famished and we had no trouble eating the entire pizza in one sitting. The source was very good but pizza was dry so I suggest they add extra sauce. All the ingredients were of top quality and a sufficient amount on the pizza. They have a variety of specialty pizzas, we opted for the cup and crisp pepperoni duo. The pepperoni was perfect nice flat pepperonis underneath and the cup and crisp I love on top. The crust was perfect not super chewy,not super crisp, just right. My daughter really loved the crust but said the pepperonis were too spicy for her(it is not a pizza where you can pull pepperonis off so she basically ate crust with sauce). We also ordered the 8 piece wings, when I opened the box I thought oh no what did I order. It looked like it was lacking sauce but to our surprise the wings were actually really good and didn't even have to add my own sauce at home. I would order them next time extra crispy. We wanted so bad to find a new, local & independent pizza spot. We ordered the Cup Pepperoni and their Veggie pie, which are both specialty pizzas on their menu. Although the pizza was delivered quickly (huge positive cause we were super hungry), unfortunately, it just wasn't what we'd hoped. It certainly wasn't horrible, but considering their prices (~$70 for two pies), it just simply wasn't worth the spend. We would consider the pizza itself 3 Stars (average), but factoring in the cost of the meal dropped it down to 2 Stars. Our search continues. read more
