Had our first experience with this franchise and it was great. Ordered takeout and it was fast and the pizzas both looked and tasted great! I was especially impressed with how generous they were with their toppings! I usually have to double up on toppings at other places, but only ordered single toppings this time and they really loaded the pizza up! My kids were so delighted. I also ordered the chicken wings and they were cooked perfectly and pretty large in size! The mango habanero sauce was more sweet than I would've liked, but it still had enough heat to satisfy. Angel was our pizza-maker and cashier and he couldn't have been friendlier and more accommodating. He asked if I wanted extra sauce for my wings and when I replied yes, he gave me another container of sauce to take home with me. Just a super friendly and personable person. Well staffed, very clean new Togo pizza shop. Got a large stuffed crust cheese original crust (seems redundant, but they also have garlic crust, or parmesan), and it was great. Tons of cheese, and the stuffed crust was very good. Food came just a little bit before expected wait time, and the servers were very polite. They have a couple of tables and chairs for eating in but most were used for folks waiting for pick up orders. Pizza was good. Fresh ingredients. We ordered their original. Crust is too thick for my taste. Prefer thin crust which I believe they may offer. I was of the opinion this is a take out sort of place. I didn't see a differentiator bs other pizza places. Went here for their grand opening weekend, and ordered the Pepperoni Trio Pizza and the All Meat pizza, along with their wings with dry rub lemon pepper and mango habanero sauce. The pizza was absolutely delicious and the wings were perfect. Really flavorful. And the workers were super friendly, especially Michael. He was super awesome! Give that man a raise! I got a direct mailer sent to my apartment which made me look into them. I decided to place an order since it was a new place I haven't heard of before but the chain has been around for a while, although this is an individual franchise. I ordered the cup pepperoni pizza and added stuffed garlic and cheese crust, artichoke pesto flatbread and added grilled chicken, and a cookie cake. When I played the order for pick up I used the discount in the mailer and was able to save some money! I got a timeframe of 17 minutes for all 3 and it was done right to the minute if not earlier. I placed the order for pick up and when I went inside the place smelled heavenly and it was extremely clean. The service was great, I was greeted then I asked for my pick up order and I couldn't help but open the box in the restaurant and to my pleasant surprise everything looked delectable so much so I had a piece of both the pizza and flatbread in my car along with my friend. We both agreed this is the best pizza we have had in a long time. The flavor was there, not overly greasy? The stuffed crust was amazing with no scorching hot grease dripping from it, the flat bread was evenly crunchy and the did not skimp on toppings. Once we got home, we finished every last slice and got right into the cookie cake. It was a traditional chocolate chip cookie pie, and it was cooked to perfection. Nice and warm and still soft with the chocolate pieces throughout melted and the edge had the perfect crisp to it where it didn't hurt your teeth when biting but enjoyed the different textures of the soft and crunchy in one slice, I hope that makes sense. And so it was with lowered expectations that we ordered delivery from Pizza Guys in Plano on their opening day. To our pleasant surprise, both the service and food were outstanding. The Combo pizza was good, but what really shone was the Hawaiian Delight pizza, which we added a Sweet BBQ sauce drizzle to. A new favorite. And the Cheezee Garlic Rolls with garlic dipping sauce are highly addictive. Pizza Guys has both traditional and novel pizza combinations on the menu, including beef taco pizza, artichoke fiesta, chipotle chicken, and spicy curry pizza, so you can have something different each time.
