2 pc fish, fries, and mac & cheese

My sister and I had lunch here to celebrate Juneteenth. We thought that we would patronize a black owned business while getting our Soul Food groove on. My food was $42.00 ($35.00 plus tip). I had 2 pieces of fish, 4 wings, onion rings, hush puppies, and Kool-Aid . I read the other reviews, and most said that the fish was good. However, I found it under seasoned and flavorless.  My wings were bbq flavored and nothing to write home about. The onion rings and hush puppies were fair (but frozen I'm sure). My sister had fish, fries, and mac and cheese. There was much more mac than cheese, and my sister agreed that the fish was not seasoned well. Even though we dined in our food was delivered in to-go plates. The service was "to-go" as well. It took me about 10 minutes to get the attention of a waitress just to get eating utensils and napkins. We were well passed finished with our meal before anyone came by again to check on us. Conclusion: The price of my meal did not match the quality of my meal. And my tip was a simply courtesy, which includes the fact that we had to pay for our meals before we received them.

2 catfish 2 shrimp 4 wings with hush puppies as a side.

The food was excellent here, the area finally has some good ole fashioned Cajun/comfort food. And the kool-aid was the icing on the cake!!!! I'll definitely be back!

Just ordered, was not expecting this, it's really dry like it's been sitting in the warmer for hours

Stopped to try the catfish and fries... won't be doing that again. So many better options for the price for 3 pieces of catfish.

I was big on their jumbo lump crab cake since they do an amazing job at it until I discovered their crab fried rice - even more delicious. Lots of butter but the crab flavor is all over the rice too (could be a little spicier). I tried their point judith calamari and the ginger poured soy sauce table side is A++++++. I dipped each calamari in that instead of pouring, it was that delicious. Of course I got the banana foster butter cake, it's not a complete experience without it! Overall my favorites are Lobster fried rice Ginger poured soy sauce Banana foster cake (I've had this 5+ times by now)

We had a reservation, and the staff had decorated our table for the birthday celebration, which was a really nice touch and made my wife feel appreciated. We started with the Wagyu appetizer and the lobster bisque, and both were outstanding. The Wagyu was incredibly tender, and the lobster bisque was rich, flavorful, and probably one of the best I've ever had. For our entrees, we ordered the filet mignon with lobster and the ribeye with lobster mac and cheese. Honestly, every bite was amazing. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the lobster was fresh and buttery, and the lobster mac and cheese was unforgettable. A lot of times, fancy restaurants have a great atmosphere but the food doesn't quite live up to the hype. Eddie V's was the complete opposite. The service, presentation, and most importantly the food were all exceptional. I can honestly say it's some of the best food I've ever had.

She was informative told me the entire history of the restaurant and has a true passion for what she does The food absolutely makes! This is literally transported me back to the oceanfront on the seashore. The best lobster I've had since the area! I loved that they actually had their proper migonette served with oysters that were chilled and properly shucked... I spent twice the amount of money, a big name and this almond pot defend and restaurant and teach all of them! Walking out the simple effective decorated restaurant really felt like I was gonna walk back out to the beach and feel spray hitting my face. Well, done! Rolando was our server he was attentive & gave us good service. We ordered cioppino & rainbow trout grilled with mashed potatoes & corn as our sides. Trout was finely prepared nicely grilled & seasoned. Loved the corn with chipotle seasoning it went very well with the fish & potatoes were good. But Cioppino was not how it's usually prepared the broth seemed very light , seasoning was not up to the mark & the mussels were ok ... had better mussels in other places... it's a seafood place so we were expecting nice juicy mussels but the meat in clams & mussels were extremely small.... That was a let down... we did take the leftover broth to have it later but it didn't tasted good ( turned very sour) so threw it away... Maybe it was one of the off day but we felt disappointed... will try something else if we visit again.

My husband and I stopped by on a weekday around 4:30 pm for happy hour before dinner elsewhere, and luckily, we were able to snag a seat on the patio. All the seating at the bar was already taken at this point. We ordered the dynamite shrimp, some oysters, the cheeseburger, and some drinks. I usually start with the bleu & gold martini (or two). My husband tried the stone fruit martini, but they put a super sour sugar rim on his, which made it EXTREMELY hard to drink. I've ordered this at the Addison location before and never had this rim, so I'm not sure if it is typical at the Frisco location or if it was just when we went. The food was all great- the dynamite shrimp was good, but nothing spectacular. Some of the batter ended up being soggy and a few shrimp pieces were rather small. The cheeseburger was amazing, as always! Overall, the food and service were great, and we will definitely be back again!

It is a very cute restaurant and the ambiance is very calm. Chicken parm: This dish was alright. There is a lot of cheese on the dish which can be overpowering. The marinara sauce is very light which I enjoy. They were out of pasta so I did not get the full experience with this dish. Moreover, I still had to pay full price even though half my dish was missing. Burger: The burger is great! It is extremely juicy and I loved the thousand island dressing on it. It is a great portion and tons of flavor. I loved getting truffle fries on the side with this burger! It came with a huge seasoned pickle on the side which was too sour for me. I also liked the trio dipping sauces, which included ranch, ketchup, honey mustard. Honey mustard was the best with the fries!

They have a great happy hour with awesome staff here at the bar area, which is open seating. The cocktails are excellent, and what I would want when paying a higher dollar for drinks. 1 Star After…read morespending thousands of dollars at this Truluck's location over the years, and being a Trulucks Dallas customer for over 10 years, I was shocked by how I was treated by the Plano Manager Ali during my most recent visit. I've had only 2 food issues over the years. On one occasion, I sent back a poor-quality prime rib. On another, my lobster was overcooked and had to be replaced. Both were legitimate quality concerns that any restaurant of this caliber should address. During this visit, I ordered the crab flight, which was advertised as including three different types of crab at 1/2 pound each. One of the crab selections was clearly not a 1/2-pound portion. After waiting approximately 15 minutes and requesting to speak with the manager three separate times, Ali finally came to the table. Instead of listening to my concern or attempting to resolve the issue, he immediately became dismissive and told me there was nothing they could do. His justification was that "they have tried to help me in the past," apparently referring to previous occasions when the restaurant corrected legitimate mistakes with my meals. He offered no solution, no effort to verify the portion, and no interest in retaining a loyal customer. The interaction was abrupt, rude, and unprofessional. I felt singled out and targeted simply for bringing a valid concern to management's attention. What was most disappointing wasn't the portion issue itself--it was the complete lack of customer service and respect from a manager at a restaurant that positions itself as a fine dining establishment. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I can no longer recommend this location.
