They Wouldnt remake our pizza after we expressed how unhappy we were with the quality and was really rude played dumb when asked for a manager and didnt want to help. My boyfriend was really upset. I Called this location and told them what had happened and if there was a way they could help and they did just that with no hesitation ! They made us the pizza by standard and created such a great experience and the quality was soo much better and was what we were looking for all along. Now we will only be going to them. L allen. Do not order from here if you have any sort of food allergy or concern. I ordered 2 of the exact same pizzas, both gluten free, from this location. They were delivered and I set them on the counter and we ate from the top box first. When we finished the first pizza, we opened the bottom box and discovered a note saying these pizzas are not gluten free with a sad face. This note was only on one box not both. No one tried to contact us or cancel the order. We ate this non-gluten free pizza and are expecting to now be violently ill. We called the restaurant but they were literally just like oops sorry. The lack of care in this situation is unacceptable. This experience was completely unprofessional. We were regulars but will never order from Zalat again. read more

Pretty decent artisan style pizza. Not cheap though, that's for sure. Can't comment on eating in as we ordered delivery. Pies came reasonably quick on a Saturday night. I do wish they used more toppings, but it wasn't as though the pies were without any. They just need more. See my pics. The cheesy breadsticks could've used more cheese and I wish the crust was crisper. Definitely did not have a brick oven flair at all. It's pizza, but I don't think I'd roll with them again. The only reason my wife and I tried the pepperoni pizza is because it is beef pepperoni, since we don't eat pork... We had 2 pepperoni pizzas delivered to us and, the delivery driver was fast and the pizzas were still hot. And the pizzas looked good but, looks are very deceitful... This pizza was horribly bland and tasteless. The sauce tasted like it's fresh out of a can of tomato paste with little to no seasonings. The crust was on the verge of being a cardboard box, tough and chewy. The box says, "The Best Pizza in the Universe"... WRONG!! Next time we'll get extra teriyaki sauce drizzled on top ...or to dip in. Love the simple crust-crispy & chewy...perfect.! It's pricey but such a treat. First time here! I knocked off a star because one pie was burnt at the edges and the entire bottom. It was still edible but not enjoyable because it was so crunchy and had a slight burnt taste. We ordered the following: -Elote - the pizza itself had a mild flavor and came with a sour cream dipping sauce which was flavorful -NY style pepperoni - we couldn't tell the difference against the other pizzas as they were all thin crust -Margarita pizza - basil and drizzled with balsamic vinegar -GF cheese - the crust was surprisingly good for gluten free; definitely the best I've had compared to other take out pizza places We would order from here again and try some of their other unique flavors! read more

Really terrific greasy pizza with unusual toppings. Honestly a winner when you want something different from the norm, super late night or just greasy and easy. My one quibble with this location (which is a ghost kitchen offering to go only) is that they offer pickup times that they can't fulfill - they gave me a 20-min prep time for pickup and when I arrived they said it would be another 30 min. I'd like to see their ordering system be more dynamic to reflect actual staffing/capacity. read more

I walked into the store, it looked like the pizza had already been done. The sides and the bottom of the crust, surprisingly were black. That was my first concern. As he put the pizza in the box, he got ready to close it up but forgot to add the reaper slice. He began to drop the reaper oil all over the pizza, and I clarify that it was only supposed to be on one slice. He confirmed with one of his coworkers that that was the case. He asked me did I want him to remake the pizza, and I said yes. Second pizza came out golden and tasted as such. It totally changed how the feedback went. The pizza was very good. The crack black pepper really set it off. The crust was tender and crispy at the same time. I could not have made a better choice. I'm a loyal costumer to Zalat and I've never had an experience like I did tonight. I called one location in Plano for a half margarita/half veggie and a half cheese/ half pepperoni, I was told my total was $60 for two pizzas. When I asked why it was so much and that it's not that much from the other location the man asked if I would like to order from them or the next location in a snarky way. I then canceled my order and called this location 10 times and no answer. When I pulled up I was appalled when I saw a young man with long hair head banging in the kitchen without a hair net. I immediately backed out and went to dominos, where I ordered more food and paid less. I will no longer be purchasing from Zalat. I suggest the company hires more professional employees and updates their sanitation policies. read more

The NYC pepperoni is life changing, shortly followed by the Buffalo Chicken and the Elote. I've eaten there at least 20 times since the opening, trust me, get the NYC pep it is insane. read more

One Star for 3 words - Customer Service Failure. I ordered an 18" pizza on a Sunday at 6pm. I received an email with my order details and Credit Card receipt. This was followed by a text saying my order was ready for pickup. As I was walking out the door Zalat called to tell me that they ran out of 18" crusts and could not make my pie at 6:15 on a Sunday. They offered no substitution option so I canceled my order and asked when I could expect to see a reversal/refund of $22.72. They told me it would take from 3-5 days to show up on my CC account. I foolishly believed them. 5 days later the charge was still on my bill and is still there today. So I related the issue through the Toast order app and also through the Zalat Contact page. Neither of those attempts yielded a response or action. The sad irony is that this message appears at the top of the Zalat Contact page: "We take customer service seriously and want to hear your opinions! Without you, we are nothing. Please use the form below to contact us. If you have feedback for a specific location, please select the Location below." Having run out options and patience, I had to spend more time to dispute the $22.72 charge with the credit card company to settle the issue. : read more
