$1.50 slice
Bruce D.

This is the best dollar slice place in NYC! Thin with a crispy underside, cheese and sauce spread evenly, with tasty full flavor! Absolutely recommend, ignore the old bad reviews they must have been of a different place because this spot is nothing like what they're talking about

Pepperoni pizza

Awesome $1.50 slice. Hot, crispy, tasty topping. Love this place, come weekly. It is the best by farrrrrr!

PRETTY DARN GOOD! Been craving $1 pizza that was juicy and cheesy! Came upon this spot and was in heaven. They have regular cheese pizzas for $1 each and for toppings its 50 cents extra which was pretty darn good. I got the pepperoni pizza for $1.50, it was not dried, well sauced and enough cheese and crispy just the way i like it. I was surprised that i just paid 1.50 for this, felt like it should of been $4 at least. Very pleased! Def drop by and get you some sauced up cheesy pizza for $1.

For $1 these are good slices... Thin. They're not full bodied slices but if you want somethin decent on the run this might hold you

Solid slices. Can't beat $1 ! 95 degree day, walking around Little Italy and the Village, just got hungry and went for it. I was not disappointed!

Not horrible, not great. I am still looking for a decent 2 Bros competitor in the $0.99 slice category. I came during lunch and had to wait five minutes for a cheese slice. If you know you are busy at lunch, why not make more cheese slices? When it did come out, the did not let it settle for long enough and the cheese lava just flew off the slice, even with the NY Fold. I also burned my mouth :/ The search continues...

$1 slice

Don't be put off by the $1 slice ad on the window as this spot has good pizza. Although it won't win any awards the $1 slice is just what you need on the run. Just for the pizza I would of given Gaga 3 stars but due to the great value I had to give it the extra 1. Much better than many other spots that charge $3+ a slice. So if you're in the Chelsea area and fancy a slice then you could do a lot worse than this place.

I quite like Pizza Gaga - right next to the 1/2 stop at 23rd street, it is a quick place to grab a bite. There are a couple other pizza joints in the area but this is by far the best one. The cheese and tomato are in good proportion and i love their mushroom slices. in fact, i usually judge people by the mushroom slices, and they do well on it - lots of mushrooms, not cheap about it.. leaving you would a good feeling. open till midnight most nights which is great - i only wish it was open longer on fridays/saturdays so i could stumble in for evening snacks..

True New York pizza! Best dollar slice in the neighborhood. Guys behind the counter are so nice. Quick service! I highly recommend!

Ok. Slices weren't very hot and the crust wasn't really memorable, but the sausage was tasty and so was the bacon.

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

It is located right in the hallway of a subway entrance, next to a bar and across from a coffee shop, and it somehow manages to feel like a cozy, sit-down restaurant right in the middle of NYC. Don't let the odd location fool you, the food here is outstanding. The Neapolitan and Sicilian-style pizzas are both exceptional, with rich, well-balanced flavors and perfectly executed crusts. Every bite tastes high quality. Also, don't skip the house-made lemonade! The experience is even better because of the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They were all so kind to so many people. From offering to keep leftovers in the fridge until a customer was done at their broadway show, to offering a scone to a young child while he and his father waited for their pizza to be done, it was more than just flipping a table and onto the next tip, it was humanity at its best. Be sure to give See No Evil Pizza a try. You certainly will want to come back again for more.
