Gotham Pizza was not our first choice but it was the closest spot to us and we were super hungry. It is a typical New York style slice but they use cornmeal on the crust which makes it crunchier. Personally, I like being able to fold my slice and here the crust cracks instead because of the crunch. That said, the toppings were fresh and very tasty. Overall, it did its job. I don't say this lightly: this is genuinely some of the best pizza I've ever had. The crust was perfectly balanced--crispy on the outside, light and airy inside--with a depth of flavor you can only get from proper fermentation and technique. The sauce was bright and well-seasoned, the cheese melted beautifully, and every bite felt intentional. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient, especially impressive given how busy it was. The staff clearly knows the product and keeps things moving without rushing anyone. The space itself has a great energy--casual, lively, and exactly what you want in a top-tier pizza spot. I got a Pepperoni slice for $4 on 1:30 AM. A previous yelp review said this was the best pizza in the world, so I had to try it out. The shop was comfortably warm, and the atmosphere welcoming. We stumbled upon this pizzeria on our way back to hotel past dinner time. Since we were super hungry, we decided to have some pizza. Surprisingly, the pizza were good! We love the crispy crust with corn meal dust. The filling was good and tasted fresh. I purchased sausage pizza and garlic knots. The garlic knots were not worth it at all. It didn't taste fresh and was more chewy than I like. The pizza was good. I do not have much to say about it. I do not like the more rough seemingly breadcrumbed crust of the pizza. Personally I prefer more fluffy or smooth crusts. The cheese and sauce were average. Good for a quick bite of lunch! The pizza crust is super crispy, which I really liked! Appreciate it a lot more than the ones that just seems like toast. There is a fair amount of pepperoni, but the pizza is a little too oily for my liking. Overall pretty good tho, will definitely return! Not as big as your typical NY slice. In fact I couldn't recommend buying this pizza by the slice. As a pie I still found it to be a little small. Their largest pie is 16in and comes with about 8 slices. This should be enough to split between 2-4 people. As far as price goes you're gonna pay about the same or slightly less than other NY pizza places. Despite these issues I thought the pizza tasted great. It's a delicious classic NY slice made to near perfection. I was worried how it looked but the taste made it well worth it. It helped that I was able to get a great discount from Door Dash otherwise I might have a different opinion. I'd give it a 3.5 if that was possible but I'll settle for a 4. I can easily recommend this spot and it's possible I may order from here again someday. read more

I give this place a lot of kudos just for the fact that they offer delivery and did not hang up on us when we asked if they deliver. No lie, we called about four to five places before this one that simply hung up. And I'm saying not a "good-bye" then hang up, but a straight "no...(dial tone)" after being asked if they deliver. After our flight was inexcusably canceled, the airline placed us in a hotel for the night. Once we arrived at the hotel, we decided to stay in and grab a pizza for delivery. After all, it was late and I didn't want to traverse the lobby more than I had to on the account that it smelled like a mixture of old horse stables and overpowering weed smoke. I guess the joke is on me, Delta must have thought it was funny to stick a family of four in a downtown hotel that was located in the heart of drugs-and-short-skirts-R-US Ville. After the phone fiasco occurred as mentioned above, we finally found this pizza shop. We ordered an 18-inch cheese pizza with garlic knots and a 2 liter of Sprite. The delivery was super fast, 20 minutes, the knots were less than a dollar and we got four, and the pizza was very tasty (enough for each of us to have two slices each). The only critiques are that the knots were too garlicky (but I liked them) and the pizza could have been cut better, instead of us having to rip it apart. However, the pizza was delicious and the cheese to sauce ratio was perfectly balanced. Overall, this was a great experience. The locals might say that there are better places; however, for a family of four wanting good pizza and less in-da-club atmosphere in our life, Gotham was a great choice. Enjoy! read more

Gotham Pizza offers solid slices with a unique twist. Their crust is made from a corn based flour. It still has the makeup of a traditional New York slice but the dough is slightly less stretchy and crispier. It has a slight gritty texture as well. I enjoyed the unique dough that comes with their pizza. I wouldn't say it compares to the traditional flour recipe of New York Pizza but it was great to have a different experience. Though the crust and dough are different, their toppings and cheeses were traditional and fresh. White Slice (4.5/5): Their White Slice is everything I expect. It had plenty of mozzarella and ricotta. Their cheese was stretchy and fresh. The easiest way to ruin a White slice is to overly caramelize the cheese or not put enough cheese on the slice. Gotham avoids both of these mistakes. Margarita Slice (4/5): Their Margarita Slice was also great. It had more mozzarella than most places. Most places put too much tomato sauce and not enough cheese on their Margarita slices. I was glad to see my slice came with plenty of cheese. Cheese Slice (3.5/5): Their Cheese Slice was the average. I just wasn't impressed with the flavor of the cheese. It wasn't but it was simply adequate. It did not impress me like the other slices. read more

Service was good . Guys were working really quick and gave our food quick . Lots of pizzas available . They had displayed about 30-40 varieties and it looked good . Pizza quality was good . Pricing was also ok . Hope the pizzas aren't kept in display for a long time . Chicken pizza was average . Otherwise everything else was really good . 4 stars .

I would have preferred it more crispy. It's hard to fold the pizza but it was also hard to cut it because of the chew . In the end I ended folding the pizza.
