Just want to say that Mendota Pizza Factory sucks. They don't get order right and they complain about reimbursement. My boyfriend is allergic to a certain condiment and we specifically ordered it without it and even the receipt said no said condiment but the sandwich had it. This place has a lot of possibilities even though it has a lot of business mostly because there is not very much competition in this neck of the woods. My only complaint is the use of online ordering, and please note, this may also hurt their business somewhat. I used two different credit cards, and it failed to recognize either one of them as valid cards. Also, the input of offer discount code was invalid even though I had the correct code. I never made the order because the online system was inconvenient. read more

Maybe it's the sauce. Maybe it's the dough. Maybe it's because I grew up on it... but they have the best pizza here. I lived in NJ for years and this beats the crap out of all the "famous" NY thin crust pizza. I visit family in Chicago and this beats the living daylights out of the deep dish pizza there. The flavors of Pizza Factory pizza when it's just out of the oven are heaven. I will clarify though, this is a franchise business so I stand by this review for this and the Firebaugh locale. If I can give this place 0 stars I would. I always order online for delivery, and it gives me a time that it will arrive. Every time I order it's always 2-3 hours late . Today I called because obviously I was upset , I talked to the manager asking for coupons or something because why is it so late ? And she told me that the time online is just a time that it gives but it's not accurate, no where online does it say 2-3 hour wait time ! Pizza is good not going to lie but their service is absolutely lacking. Walked in to pick up an order that I had placed over an hour prior. I was told to wait first so I waited for about 5 minutes as they figured out some orders they had. Then I heard them talking about my order and how the cheesy breadsticks we had ordered weren't made. I was told my order would be ready in 40 minutes and I gave them extra time so the fact that they didn't catch that my order wasn't complete until well over an hour speaks volumes on their attention to detail. I basically cancelled the breadsticks and didn't pay for or took the pizza. For the prices they charge, and they're hefty prices, their service and attention to detail is crap. read more

Employees are unprofessional an lack of service. Standing there for few minutes had to speak up for them to give me service. Pizza was very greasy. When I went to pick up a slice everything falls apart. It took them one hour an thirty minutes for that. Not worth the $20. My first review that's how bad my experience was here. read more

I don't recommend anyone to EVER eat here. Found hair in my pizza and they didn't want to refund me. They tried saying it was my girlfriends, but her hair is all blue. If you order through the phone they keep you on hold for an unbelievable amount of time (if they even remember that they kept you on hold). Today I had yet another encounter when the owner or the original people are working the service is always great, however it has not been the same for years. My sister made an order about 720 pm for a turkey sandwich a medium pizza and breadsticks. She walked in a few minutes after 8 pm maybe about 8:06 noticed she was taking over almost half an hour it was 8:29. I was very upset as we ordered and paid online at 7:21 and was told it was going to be half an hour I was very upset and demanding answers the girls excuse was she tried calling my sister about the order and that was a lie as we had been outside waiting for our order the entire time and none of our phones had notification so she either lied because I was upset and that's what she came up with or she called the wrong number. These days there's no excuse these are children working here and not even the manager tony had even the slightest thought to come and handle the situation accordingly instead almost every employee walked to the back room but then again this isn't the first encounter with him in charge of the shift. I asked how long does it take to make a sandwich as my sister had ordered as soon as they mentioned they were out of turkey I said "it's going to be half an hour so how long does it take?!" And her answer was "well it's in the freaking oven!". This little girl had the audacity after a few other small mistakes she was about to make she was going to charge again another $36 when our order was paid for. These children need to be made aware of their actions, their work, and how they would like to lie or come about things. I will make sure I order when it's the staff that actually know what they're doing, instead of employees who stand around and play inappropriate music in the building. read more

Tapped 1 star, but actually Mendota Pizza Factory has earned a -9 review. They served me a pizza with a metal clamp and I almost broke a tooth. I called to order a pizza, & everything was going smooth up until the girl asked me for my number & name, when I said my name I did say it with Emphasis because my name is sometimes hard to understand, especially when I say it, so the girl who answered Alyssa, told me "you don't gotta say it like that"? I didn't know me saying my name was such a bad thing? She also continued to argue with me, which to me was very unprofessional. If you're working around customers/food you don't have to be having such a ugly attitude. It's absolutely disappointing, I have never had such a horrible experience other than today. I hate giving bad reviews, but this place deserves it. I ordered online from their menu and entered my card information and paid. When I got to the restaurant to pick up the order, they charged me. Only after checking my text messages did I see that it said to pay in the store. Then WHY did I enter my credit card information online? OK, no biggie right. I ordered 4 items, 2 meatball sandwiches, a tuna melt, and a calzone. They gave me everything by the tuna melt. I asked where it was and they said they were out of tuna. Nice. Thanks a lot for having a menu option you don't have for pickup when I'm on my 30 minute lunch break. The workers are never nice. This is the second time I've been there and I will never go back.
