This is probably the place I eat at most (other than maybe quick bites at Taco Bell) in Colfax. Is it the absolute best pizza in the world? No - but it's dang good for a traditional pizza chain. I've never been disappointed. I love their lunch specials. Their daily whole pizza deals are pretty good too. Salad bar is good - not great - but a good value. Last time, I had the combination calzone and it was the best I have ever had. I used to live near another Pizza Factory and they did not make their calzone nearly as good as the Colfax restaurant does. I even mentioned it to the guy, and he said "I've been making them a long time." It seems he might have been a little more generous with the fillings than the other place, and he cooked it right. At the other franchise (Groveland) they were always cool in the center because they were not baked long enough. Not sure I love this place more than a Round Table King Arthur Supreme, but it's a better value overall, fast, convenient, good service, and very good. read more

Pizza was excellent, they have quite a business there. It was fun watching them toss the dough the old fashioned way. Didnt get the full experience because of the rona krap but the kids making the food were really nice. Not the same Pizza Factory, we use to enjoy in either Colfax or Foresthill in the past.Would give zero if I could. We are not picky eaters. The salad bar had spoiled tomatoes and few other produce. The pepperoni pizza did not taste very good at all. It was either the cheese or dough or both.Costco pizza while not the greatest,is much better.Sad to say,we felt like we were eating from a convenience store. I think this only the second time in all my years,I said something about not being pleased with our food,while eating out.I was very nice about it. Also the owner or manager acted like he could care less about the poor poor quality of some of the veggies.the beverages were okay.Sorry for the bad review,but this place needs a lot of improvement. The breadsticks lack flavor and because they are made so thin they become pretty tough. The pizza was okay the marinara wasn't the best. All in all it's not that it was awful it just needed flavor. It was just a basic pizza, nothing special about it. And the large is small for a large. They do have great deals though, that's a plus I guess. I would describe this place as good and reliable pizza. It's not going to chart up there with the smaller ma and pa pizza joints in any city, but it is reliable pizza and each one we order is good! You really can't beat the quality for the price. Each time we order from Pizza Factory we either order delivery or take out. This is our home town pizza place so there really is no need to eat there. The atmosphere inside is your typical pizza place vibe with kind of an 80's style throw back interior. They have a television and arcade games. The customer service is hit and miss at times. It's not that they are mean or rude, just kind of a younger crowd who doesn't really go out of their way to greet their customers, but once you engage them, they are all friendly and nice. Their delivery doesn't start until 5PM, and is usually prompt and friendly. All the ingredients seem fresh and are plentiful. They have specials all the time and offer good coupons and benefits to the local schools. Their hot wings are pretty tasty also. Bad experience here!!!!!!! My family was in town for a camping trip and we drove out to town to enjoy some pizza on a Friday night. As soon as we walked into pizza factory at 8:45pm (in which we googled & it said closing wasn't until 10) we were told that we had to leave by 9:15.pm. We proceeded to eat our pizza in a rush & we were then kicked out very RUDLEY by a blonde girl with a pony tail. She told us to clean up, so they could clean up. We were having a great time and she really just ruined the whole experience for my group of 10+ people. I am one that has worked within customer service for a while now and this is not the way you ask customers to leave at 9:30pm, when all sources correlated to Pizza Factory say that the restaurant doesn't close until 10. read more

MLK Holiday 2011 We found this pizza joint by accident on our way back from the Sierras. Lucky for our family, we avoided the rush out of snow country by leaving early. BUT- we skipped breakfast and were still tired and hungry from the long weekend. Their pizza was yummy and it certainly hit the spot. Their staff was nice and flexible to our super hungry family! I noticed they had an all you can eat pizza/salad bar, but we were too hungry to wait for the lunch time period. Bathrooms were clean. Went here after a family outing at the lake. we ordered the 49er special, which is a combination, and also a pepperoni pizza. the pepperoni pizza was devoured in minutes however the combination arrived nearly falling apart. the bottom was completely soggy, you couldn't even hold a slice. I had to eat it with a fork, or if you roll the point tip back to the crust taco style. we contacted the manager, but luckily the owner of Pizza factory was present! She greeted us in cut off denim shorts and a tank top when the rest of the staff had pizza factory shirts. maybe she was just stopping by, but she let us know that all pizzas with a good amount veggies and meat are soggy from the juices. if you like soggy pizza this is a great place! however if you like holding the pizza I would recommend a one to two topping pizza. read more

Disappointing. Long wait for mediocre pizza. Cleanliness is not important to the young staff. They are constantly touching their face, masks and hair while prepping pizza with bare hands. When this was brought the attention to the manager on duty. She informed me that the oven gets extremely hot and will kill/burn everything. (She said this to get out of remaking my food). They don't care about being clean when making your food, they firmly believe that the oven will fix it. That does not excuse the lack of cleanliness of the staff. It's disgusting to watch your food being made when staff is constantly running their fingers through their hair and touching their nose/mask. read more

Once my pizza gets here and I taste it, I'll adjust my stars to 5 if it's as good as I'm told it is. UPDATE: 8/19/16- I'll be leaving the 4 stars. The lady saying there was a bug on her food is full of crap! The health department was just there and a pest company and said there is no sign of any bugs and that they see this when scam artists either want free food or own a competing business. Surprise surprise they had over $100 worth of pizza comped and every post she has made has been under different names. This is a small town and for someone to do something so low is disgusting! This place never fails me. A bit pricey. Friendly staff. Some of the staff gets noticeably frazzled when it gets busy but it doesn't get out of hand. I always call in my order even when eating in as the wait averages 30 minutes. The staff does a good job of keeping the dining area clean. read more
