I can't say enough about this place! The service was great and friendly. The environment is awesome slightly modern but still very much that old Auburn country feel! Which I love coming back home. Came in town to visit and go for one of my favorite hikes and stopped in for a post workout meal and football! I will be coming here every time I'm in town going forward :-) what more can you ask for great food, great brew selection, and tons of screens with multiple games for the sports fans:) Also big for me is that they had gluten-free pizza dough and for anyone who is more on the health conscious side I found this to be one of the freshest non-greasy pizzas I've ever had in town. The onions, the artichokes and the mushrooms. Literally, you could tell we're not drenched in Greece and still had crunch and tons of their natural juices left so so good! I'll be back

Trivia on the patio Wednesday nights

We've been coming to Old Town Pizza in Auburn every Wednesday night for trivia for quite some time now, and this review is definitely overdue. Every single week, the staff is incredibly friendly and on top of everything. Service is always quick, even when it's busy, and they consistently make the experience feel easy and welcoming. Trivia night is such a highlight for us. It's genuinely fun, well-run, and something we look forward to all week. David and Asia are amazing hosts. They keep the energy up, make it engaging, and you can tell they really care about creating a great experience. One thing that really stood out to me was how responsive management is. I mentioned that the changing table in the women's restroom was broken, and by the time we came back the following week, it had already been replaced. That level of follow-through is rare and really appreciated. We actually drive in from Wheatland every week just to come here, which probably says it all. We love this place and plan to keep coming back.

Whether you're passing through or staying to visit Auburn, this is a must stop! Pizza is fresh, the toppings are cut in large pieces, the crust is crisp on the outside, soft in the middle. I go to is the build your own pizza with pepperoni, jalapeño, and pineapple. Pineapple will be cut in circles, not cut into tiny pieces. A family favorite is the Docs Chicken it has a white sauce. We also usually order the spinach salad, but the Caesar is good too! They have a wide variety of beer and you can ask for a beer flight too! Once in a while they have Sangria. This pizzeria was once in the lower level of a building, a small cozy spot, but very well known. So well known that lines were always out the door; so they made the decision to move locations and now it is a two-story restaurant with a rooftop area. On hot days the misters up stairs are on and vibes are niiiceeeee!

Really, really good pizza! We got the meat one and it had pepperoni, sausage, and we substituted bacon for salami. The sauce is really good and they don't put a ton. Their crust is amazing!! We split a small Caesar salad that was tasty as well. Our waiter was amazing as well. Highly recommend!

Busy place on a Friday evening. Lots of groups in a place that can accommodate large numbers of diners. Takeout pizza orders are separate from the main deck. (If you order a pizza here and tell the brewery half a block away, they'll give you a discount on your pint of beer.) I got the 16" cheese and linguisa pizza. Delicious. Went fabulously with the Marzen beer down the street.

Came here with a friend after completing a hike near by. It was really slow for a Sunday, we were seated quickly, and checked in quickly. Service was fine, pizza was definitely the star on the show. Extra toppings aside from one was $1.75 which seemed like a lot in my opinion. Pizza was delicious, greasy but good. We were in and out within 25 minutes.

Great service from Austin, fast, great pizza and beer...and not expensive. The rooftop bar is nice also

When you walk up to Crooked Lane Brewing, you notice the exquisite architecture. It stands out, as it should! When you get a little closer, you notice the big tinted windows and a beautiful patio for outdoor seating. **Bonus!! They are pet friendly for the patio area! When you walk in, it's vibrant, very modern with very high ceilings. It's a very big a spacious area with long tables and tall chairs throughout. There is a long bar top with tall chairs, too. Behind them, is a window where you can see the fermentation vessels. **fun fact Throughout the various stages of brewing, the beer is moved between a few different specialized tanks, each with a specific name. My friend was already there, and I walked up to the front and checked out their beer lists. I really liked that they had craft hard seltzers. Those are so delicious in a hot summer day. I went with the pomegranate raspberry orange... aka, the Pro! They had plenty to choose from. They were nice enough to give me a few tasters. They also offer a few wines and they had 2 frozen icee machines twirling with frozen Lemon Berry Seltzer and frozen lemonade I walked with my drink to sit with my friend. While looking around, I saw that they sell the chips from a local merchant called The Crazy Gringo.. who I have purchased salsa/tamales from at the Auburn Faith Farmers Market (Thursdays). There are shirts, snacks, mugs, and more. A wedding just happened to finish on the other side where there is more outdoor seating. **Bonus, this is a great place for big gatherings whether it's a birthday or another type of gathering, book it here!! While sitting and chatting, you can smell their delicious pizza. So I walked up to grab a menu and ended up ordered the pepperoni & sausage pizza.... yes, with ranch! They brought it out to us with cheese and peppers, too. I would compare it to a small size, definitely bigger than a personal size pizza. Great amount of toppings... mmm!! This one is pretty good. It was great without ranch, but I had to try their ranch and that was tasty. We hung out there for a while and it really started to get busy. Sometimes, there is a taco truck outside and it smells super good Crooked Lane Brewery is family-friendly and offers beer flights. They have a few TVs for sports. The food here is limited as there is no in-house kitchen, but features rotating food trucks. In house they offer pizzas, small bites appetizers, salad and sandwiches. They occasionally have events like live music and trivia nights, and I like that they support the women's Iron Rose Football Club. Next time I'm here, I'm going for a beer flight!

I wanted to drink a sour but there wasn't one so I drank a seltzer (blackberry lime), flavor recommended by the bartender. It was delicious and I'd recommend to anyone who also likes sour beer. We did not eat anything, but we all enjoyed what we ordered to drink. My friends ordered beer, I believe IPAs but I can't remember their order. Staff were friendly and helpful.
