This place was exactly what we needed whilst wondering the streets of Milan! We were told there was a 15 minute wait which was fine as the huddle and bustle of the place showed that it was a place worth waiting. Whilst on our wait for the table, we were handed 2 glasses of prosecco to relax with in the small street. After, we went down the steps into the basement area of the restaurant with vibrant colours and random features everywhere. The music and atmosphere was amazing and the service/food was even better. We were in and out within 30 mins and had 2 margarita pizzas with drinks and shots to finish. All for under €30! You couldn't go wrong! read more

The pizza at Piz was mouth watering and amazing. I come from Connecticut where we're ranked for the best pizza in the U.S. so of course by default I am biased. But the pizza here is everything ! Although my friend and I had to wait they gave us beverages and small snack bites of what I think was a calzone while we waited. The pizza sizes were perfect for individuals, I definitely loved the spicy topping for the pizza. If I could've taken it home I would've. The best part is the free shots once you're done, pay, and are on your way out. Great pizza, staff, and location. read more

We discovered this great little spot while walking around Milan, fresh of a train from Venice. We were starving! This place is kinda hidden and we couldn't find any information on it (which of course is good and bad) but we needed food and decided why not? Sooo glad we made that decision! Not only was the pizza delicious but the service was just amazing. They brought out free apps for us to try and the server engaged us in wonderful conversation about Milan and spots to check out. Once we were done (they were closing) we went inside to pay and the owner told us it was their first weekend opening so he invited us to have a drink with him and by drink I mean shots. A few shots later we were full, tipsy, and ready to enjoy more of Milan's beauty! Thank you again to the staff for the wonderful experience! read more

If a pizza joint ever embodied absolute confidence and swagger, it's Piz. The moment we arrived with our group of seven, the young host greeted us, added our name to the wait list, and gave us complimentary prosecco and pizza while we waited. They absolutely nail the first impression. Shortly after that we were provided a table in the underbelly of this restaurant. The prices are very affordable, and the tables and decor match. Not in a bad way, but you certainly wouldn't eat here for a nice night out. In fact, the decor almost had a bright, Mexican vibe to me, which I thought was jarring to find in the middle of Italy. In any case, each of the pizzas we tried were phenomenal. Service was friendly and prompt as well. One of the coolest parts was just paying the bill - we went back upstairs to settle the tab, and after a friendly conversation with the cashier, the staff INSISTED on each of our party taking limoncello shots for the road. What a perfect cherry on top of an awesome experience. When in Milan, definitely check out this place! read more

I have eaten a lot of pizza in Italy and this is an excellent pizza. The crust is light, as are the toppings leaving you satisfied, not stuffed. The menu offers three (3) pizza choices. Margarita, white and another red sauce pizza with a stronger flavor than margarita. We tried all three. The sauce is a simple crushed tomato. The cheese is added sparingly but adequately. Not overwhelming the pizza while adding texture and taste. A true case of 'less is more'. If you like your pizza to have a 'kick' ask for the peroncini. A mix of red pepper seeds and oil. My favorite is the white pizza. A delicate balance of cheese, dough and herb. The menu includes a selection of beer (pint or half pint), a red or white wine by the glass or bottle, soft drinks, coffee and desserts. All together a minimalist offering. Tiramisu comes in a small glass crock and was enough for the four of us to share. This version has the coffee flavor and chocolate powder on top, is heavy on the cream and light on cookie. The espresso was good. Melon shots were brought at the end of the meal and again at the register. Becoming accustomed to the Italian dining experience, where you reserve a table and it is your for the night, this dinner experience was stressful. Reservations are not accepted here. We waited for a table with our complimentary prosecco and panino, outside in the drizzle and from the moment they called our name it was a rush to the finish line. Our first pizza was delivered to the table within moments of our ordering, leading us to believe they make the pizzas non-stop and deliver to the first one who orders it. The pizza was there before our drinks arrived. Before that plate was clean, the next pizza was taking it's place and so on. My dish was whisked away while still eating. Oh well, guess I was done. Except for the wait for a table, if you just want to 'chew and screw' this is your place. The pizza is very good as are the prices. Just don't plan to linger. read more

Short version: good pizza at a great price by friendly people who like tourists and not in a cheesy or scammy way. Long version: Stopped in this place on our way to the Ambrosia Library. We were greeted by a very friendly dude who gave us a free sample and some wine. We made our way downstairs and ordered the margarita and the other red sauce pizza (sorry I didn't order so I don't remember what it was called) Each pizza cost roughly €8 and there were four of us so we split two pizzas. Very friendly waiter and the pizza was delicious. When it was time to pay we were greeted by that same friendly dude and another guy. They gave us all 3 free shots of Meloncello! Gave two of us 4 shots!! For roughly €6 euros per person (we got some water and cafe) we had such a great and fun lunch. read more

OMG. So good. When I first walked in, they handed me a glass of champagne and a snack! I was shocked. They then showed me to my table downstairs. I ordered a margarita pizza and a glass of wine. I saw everyone eating with a fork and knife so I did too hehe. The pizza was the best pizza I've ever had. The cheese, the sauce, and the crust was just plain out BOMBBB. I ate the whole thing. The end. read more

Upon arrival there were 20 people waiting outside so we anticipated a wait. The host gave us the hold on sign and then gave us each a panini which was amazing. Before we could take a bite he brought us downstairs to a table. Very fun and vibrant atmosphere. Service was prompt and we had drinks right away. Only 3 pizzas on the menu so we ordered one of each to share amongst 4. Best pizza we have ever had. Prices are very reasonable and expect a shot of melon liquor when you pay your bill (yum). Overall one of the best dining experiences we have had in Europe. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. The service, the food, the crowd, and the space. Its all so much fun!! There is usually a wait..but the good news is you are greeted with a FREE snack (slice of pizza) and free glass of prosecco. After a short wait we were seated downstairs. The seating is a bit tight but its really fun..very lively crowd! We chatted a bit with our neighbors and scoped some of the pizza people were eating. After ordering some wine we went with the garlic and margherita pizzas. Both were very tasty! They came out pretty quick as well. The service was awesome from start to finish. This is a must eat if you are ever in Milano! read more

Good service. They were giving away free sparkling wine and appetizer while we waited in line. We ordered margarita and white pizzas. Margarita pizza was very moist. The white pizza was not bad either. Food arrived quickly. read more

After a long day of walking in very uncomfortable shoes .. we reluctantly stumbled upon this pizza place for our last dinner to end our trip. Food was excellent and hit the spot. However I was so preoccupied with how my feet hurt, I left my entire purse with my wallet , credit cards , and PASSPORT. We were flying back to the United States the very next morning early. Yes, what a nightmare! Didn't even realize it was gone til I was getting into my Uber to go to the airport. We ran from our hotel as fast as possible hoping someone would be there even though they didn't open til 12 (it was 8am). We found 2 people who we believe to be cleaners. They graciously scrambled to contact the owner to locate the purse in the facility, even trying their hardest to speak English to us. To my disbelief, there was my purse safe and sound with everything in it!!! PIZ STAFF AND OWNER thank you so much for being honest people, a wonderful trip could've ended with a huge disaster if it wasn't for you, everything was amazing, ciao Italy!!!! read more

I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Milan! Tucked away in a cozy corner, we were immediately greeted by a gracious, knowledgeable and well-spoken staff. Service was amazing and the wine was delicious. Although they only have three options for pizza, they are incredible. The fresh ingredients, most notably the mouth-watering mozzarella, were amazing and helped contribute to the authentic fun atmosphere! The staff was so nice and they offer a fruit shot (meloncello) once you finish your meal. This place is truly a gem, and I suggest anyone reading this to put down your phone and head over! read more

Steps from Il Duomo, PIZ is hands down the best pizza place in Milan. They bring small bites while you wait and a shot when you pay! They only offer 3 pies. Margarita, Marinara, and white. No toppings. But it doesn't matter, it's all fantastic. read more

Thank you Yelpers!! We were in Milan for one night - first night in Italy so we wanted a pizza! I found this place on Yelp and it wasn't far from our hotel so we figured we'd give it a try. Imagine our surprise when we got to the door and they offered us a free glass of prosecco and a snack right away! Talk about customer service! Then we were led downstairs into a cozy dining room. The menu is pretty basic - but you don't need a million choices when the food's this good. I got a margarita pizza and a glass of wine and it was DELICIOUS! I might have eaten a bit too much, but they playfully scold you if you don't finish your plate. :) After dinner we were given two free shots when paying. All in all a WONDERFUL experience for our first night in Italy. Good food, good service, friendly waiters who made it very fun! HIGHLY recommend you hit this place on your trip. read more

We stopped to check the crowded storefront out and before we knew it were hustled inside with a complementary tear of pizza in one hand and a glass of Prosecco in the other. At that point we thought, um okay may as well, and ordered a pizza to share. There were three options to choose from, basically variations of a Margherita. The pizza was good and we enjoyed the energy of the place. read more

My first stop after shopping in Milan, upon entering the place you are given a glass of prosecco and a slice of a cheese panini. How can you not love the service engagement with the customers at this point. They only have three selections as far as pizza. I opted for the margherita pizza and what I call grandmas pizza no cheese just sauce. The pizza was quite good and my Pinot Grigio selection made it even better. I had a great time here, when in Milan please stop by for a nice bite with a great relaxing atmosphere. read more

This spot is the bomb! Host greeted us with a "welcome snack and drink" consisting of some pizza and champagne while we waited for a table, which only took about 7-8 minutes. the food was probably the best I've had during my trip to Milan even though their menu was kind of limited. everything on it was amazing. after finishing our meal, they gave us some free melon shots. We felt really welcomed and they treated us like family. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone and will dine here again next visit! read more

I picked this restaurant because of its great reviews but it exceeded my expectations. It was by far the best pizza we had on our entire trip. The service was amazing! When we had to wait 10 min for a table they even brought us out samples and champagne. Don't bother asking for a menu in English I'll save you the embarrassment. They don't have one just do what we did and order all 3 types of pizza, all amazing and still delicious the next day. read more

It's very nice that this place is open late, but after going twice, I don't think I'll go back. Don't get me wrong, the service is very good, and the prices aren't bad, but what you get for that price is somewhat lackluster. If you're looking for a quick meal, later in the evening, then this is a very good bet. If you're looking for 5star... then you're looking in the wrong place. read more

My sister and I were sniffing around for dinner after a long day on our feet when it started raining, so we just picked the closest place. As soon as we walked in, one of the servers gave us a small slice of pizza for a snack and a glass of the bubbly (alcoholic) and then sat us down at a table. The decor was quirky in a good way, though I didn't really pay much attention to it because I was too busy cramming the snack I had received into my mouth and downing my prosecco like the classless ho I am (I did say it'd been a long day, probably my first meal given my traveling habits). After that, I managed to gather my wits and behave like a normal human being before the server came for our orders, so I greatly appreciate the initial sustenance. All in all, we were served promptly and they answered any questions we had. I ordered the white pizza, and my sister ordered the margherita. The pizza was very good, and we actually ended up returning a second time for lunch. Flavors were well-balanced, and not too salty (a problem I often encounter with pizzas, at least in the States). The crust was just thick and crunchy enough. Bonus: our server was cute. Bonus bonus: At dinner, after we finished our food, they gave each of us a shot of some liquor, I think meloncello. And then another that tasted like chocolate. And then another! These were all complimentary! There's a flat service fee of 2 euros but that's it! And then when we were paying and leaving, they gave us each another shot! My sister was already passing me the previous two because she's a lightweight, but with all the servers there warmly sending us off with another shot in each of our hands, she couldn't refuse not because we were pressured, but because everyone was just so much fun. (She was alright, not too drunk, but I had to stop to get her churros from a street cart because she was getting noisy about wanting them.) It wasn't like that when we went at lunch, so it seems it might be a dinner thing, but we didn't really want to wander the streets while in any state besides "sober" because we still stand out as tourists and I'd rather not have a repeat of Vienna and have my wallet stolen, thanks. read more

Service here was amazing. Hopped off a plane at MXP with a dream and a car to rent. Headed straight for the duomo, because, cmon, you gotta. Then, feeling kinda homesick, search for some pizza and discovered Piz: a total Italian experience. I was given at least 3 drinks on the house and finished a margherita pizza, and was just so happy. Definitely check this place out! Very neat. read more

Searched "best pizza Milan" and google delivered. We don't often give 5 stars but Piz was thoroughly deserving. A genuine friendly welcome with complimentary pizza taster and prosecco with a detailed description of their 3 pizzas. We went for margharitas which where light, really tasty with fresh tomato sauce and amazing dough. Good wine was 20 euros for a bottle and the meloncello liqueurs were a nice touch. Service was outstanding with a a really good vibe in a fun place to eat, and also work! In our opinion the pizza was tastier than L'Antica Da Michaele for sure! You must try this if in Milan- we will be back for sure.... read more

Reviews are pretty on point for this spot. Quick and friendly service, free booze upon arrival or departure and simple, delicious za. I'm honestly shocked how this place has 4.5 stars I'm convinced these are bots because anyone with a pulse would see this place was trash. I hate to be so harsh but let me make it clear if you're a tourist and you want to have good pizza in Milan this place IS NOT IT. Trust me. It's not. Go elsewhere you'll thank me. It's 100 degrees inside, everyone was sweating the AC wasn't working. Yes they give you a free glass of Prosecco and a bite to eat (two stars for that) but it didn't make up for the terrible pizza! Really I'm so sad because it was our last night in Milan and it was a bad ending. My husband got the white pizza, bland and sad. I got the red sauce specialty it was just crust and tomato sauce on top...nothing else. It was so disappointing. I asked for some Parmesan cheese to give the pizza some life. When we got the check they charged us 3€ for cheese. Honestly I've had better pizza literally anywhere in the world. I would've paid triple for a decent pizza and AC. We were saying that blaze pizza back home is ten times better than this. GO ELSEWHERE. read more

Such a great pizza place. When we walked in, we were given some prosecco a piece of cheese bread. There are only 3 different pizzas on the menu. We ordered 2 different kinds, and they split the pizzas for us without us asking. We had the garlic and margherita pizzas (they also have a white pizza). The garlic is pretty potent, but really good. Both were so tasty with a great crust. The service is great. We were given so many shots of lemoncello, almond liquor, and chocolate liquor all for free. We actually had to just leave, or else they would have continued to give us more. Don't say I didn't warn you! read more

This place is mostly full of tourists, but don't take that as a bad sign. The service is great; you are greeted with a complimentary slice of pizza and glass of vino bianco at the door. We were told this is the best pizza in Milano. It was!!! Incredibly fresh and simple! Fun ambiance!!!

We read so many great reviews we had to try this place and we weren't let down! We arrived about 20 minutes after they opened in the evening and scored the last table they had, which happened to be outside. We were greeted with "welcome pizza" and brought menus which the waiter explained briefly. They only have 3 types of pizza so it wasn't a tough choice. Not 10 minutes after we sat down a huge line had formed, people really want to eat here! Everyone in line was greeted with a glass of wine and welcome pizza to enjoy while they waited. Our meal was fantastic and after dinner we were brought a shot of melon liquor, it was awesome! It was so good we bought a bottle to bring home. After waiting in line to pay our bill, we were given another shot! The hospitality here is excellent. You won't regret eating here! read more
