After a long day of walking in very uncomfortable shoes .. we reluctantly stumbled upon this pizza place for our last dinner to end our trip. Food was excellent and hit the spot. However I was so preoccupied with how my feet hurt, I left my entire purse with my wallet , credit cards , and PASSPORT. We were flying back to the United States the very next morning early. Yes, what a nightmare! Didn't even realize it was gone til I was getting into my Uber to go to the airport. We ran from our hotel as fast as possible hoping someone would be there even though they didn't open til 12 (it was 8am). We found 2 people who we believe to be cleaners. They graciously scrambled to contact the owner to locate the purse in the facility, even trying their hardest to speak English to us. To my disbelief, there was my purse safe and sound with everything in it!!! Short version: good pizza at a great price by friendly people who like tourists and not in a cheesy or scammy way. Long version: Stopped in this place on our way to the Ambrosia Library. We were greeted by a very friendly dude who gave us a free sample and some wine. We made our way downstairs and ordered the margarita and the other red sauce pizza (sorry I didn't order so I don't remember what it was called) Each pizza cost roughly €8 and there were four of us so we split two pizzas. Very friendly waiter and the pizza was delicious. When it was time to pay we were greeted by that same friendly dude and another guy. They gave us all 3 free shots of Meloncello! Upon arrival there were 20 people waiting outside so we anticipated a wait. The host gave us the hold on sign and then gave us each a panini which was amazing. Before we could take a bite he brought us downstairs to a table. Very fun and vibrant atmosphere. Service was prompt and we had drinks right away. Only 3 pizzas on the menu so we ordered one of each to share amongst 4. Best pizza we have ever had. Prices are very reasonable and expect a shot of melon liquor when you pay your bill (yum). This place is absolutely amazing. The service, the food, the crowd, and the space. Its all so much fun!! There is usually a wait..but the good news is you are greeted with a FREE snack (slice of pizza) and free glass of prosecco. After a short wait we were seated downstairs. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Milan! Tucked away in a cozy corner, we were immediately greeted by a gracious, knowledgeable and well-spoken staff. Thank you Yelpers!! We were in Milan for one night - first night in Italy so we wanted a pizza! I found this place on Yelp and it wasn't far from our hotel so we figured we'd give it a try. Imagine our surprise when we got to the door and they offered us a free glass of prosecco and a snack right away! Talk about customer service! Then we were led downstairs into a cozy dining room. The menu is pretty basic - but you don't need a million choices when the food's this good. I got a margarita pizza and a glass of wine and it was DELICIOUS! I might have eaten a bit too much, but they playfully scold you if you don't finish your plate. :) After dinner we were given two free shots when paying. My first stop after shopping in Milan, upon entering the place you are given a glass of prosecco and a slice of a cheese panini. How can you not love the service engagement with the customers at this point. They only have three selections as far as pizza. I opted for the margherita pizza and what I call grandmas pizza no cheese just sauce. The pizza was quite good and my Pinot Grigio selection made it even better. This spot is the bomb! Host greeted us with a "welcome snack and drink" consisting of some pizza and champagne while we waited for a table, which only took about 7-8 minutes. the food was probably the best I've had during my trip to Milan even though their menu was kind of limited. everything on it was amazing. after finishing our meal, they gave us some free melon shots. I picked this restaurant because of its great reviews but it exceeded my expectations. It was by far the best pizza we had on our entire trip. The service was amazing! My sister and I were sniffing around for dinner after a long day on our feet when it started raining, so we just picked the closest place. As soon as we walked in, one of the servers gave us a small slice of pizza for a snack and a glass of the bubbly (alcoholic) and then sat us down at a table. All in all, we were served promptly and they answered any questions we had. I ordered the white pizza, and my sister ordered the margherita. The pizza was very good, and we actually ended up returning a second time for lunch. Flavors were well-balanced, and not too salty (a problem I often encounter with pizzas, at least in the States). The crust was just thick and crunchy enough. Bonus: our server was cute. Bonus bonus: At dinner, after we finished our food, they gave each of us a shot of some liquor, I think meloncello. And then another that tasted like chocolate. And then another! These were all complimentary! There's a flat service fee of 2 euros but that's it! And then when we were paying and leaving, they gave us each another shot! My sister was already passing me the previous two because she's a lightweight, but with all the servers there warmly sending us off with another shot in each of our hands, she couldn't refuse not because we were pressured, but because everyone was just so much fun. (She was alright, not too drunk, but I had to stop to get her churros from a street cart because she was getting noisy about wanting them.) A genuine friendly welcome with complimentary pizza taster and prosecco with a detailed description of their 3 pizzas. We went for margharitas which where light, really tasty with fresh tomato sauce and amazing dough. Good wine was 20 euros for a bottle and the meloncello liqueurs were a nice touch. Service was outstanding with a a really good vibe in a fun place to eat, and also work! In our opinion the pizza was tastier than L'Antica Da Michaele for sure! Such a great pizza place. When we walked in, we were given some prosecco a piece of cheese bread. There are only 3 different pizzas on the menu. We ordered 2 different kinds, and they split the pizzas for us without us asking. We had the garlic and margherita pizzas (they also have a white pizza). The garlic is pretty potent, but really good. Both were so tasty with a great crust. The service is great. We were given so many shots of lemoncello, almond liquor, and chocolate liquor all for free. My coworkers and I went to visit the Duomo after work and ended up at Piz to eat. As soon as we walked in the door they gave us a welcome drink and a welcome slice of pizza. We ordered each of the pizzas they offer and all of them were great! As we were leaving they gave us a goodbye shot, tasted like cantaloupe and not sure what else but it was wonderful.
