Margherita pizza

Piz was an authenic pizzeria with fast but delicious food. The pizzeria was tucked away right next to the center of town, they only had 3 pizza options, a margerita, a garlic pizza, and a chef's choice. The staff was very friendly and offered a glass of champagne and a pre-dinner bite on the house. After our pizza, the chef provided complementary shots for the table as well! The tiramisu was one of the best desserts I had in Milan as well. Overall, great hospitality, great bang for your buck, good food!

I found Piz after seeing some mention of it in a blog. It's an easy walk from the Milan Duomo where I'd spent my morning. The place is tucked in an alley with lots of simple, somewhat rickety and simple, table ensembles outside along the alley. Piz was lined up the entire lunchtime but the servers were so energetically managing this plus everyone's table service, it was impressive! I enjoyed an extremely tasty margarita pizza for lunch and definitely recommend Piz!

There is a lot to love about this neighborhood pizzeria with its eclectic decor and vibrant atmosphere. Upon entering, we dodged fast-paced servers running past us and jostled with fellow customers for standing room in a narrow space, only to discover that dine-in guests eating inside can descend the staircase to a lower level. Menus on the table await guests, showcasing six delicious pizzas including a pizza of the day, as well as a few other dishes. Selecting two of their incredibly affordable pizzas, we found the crust to be deliciously light and chewy, delicately scorched by the oven but not overcooked. The sauce is magnificent, rich and flavorful without being overbearing, finely puréed without chunks of tomatoes. Lumps of fresh mozzarella, partially melted on top most of the pizzas, are a perfect compliment to the finished product. The flavors and textures certainly earned our four-star review! But there are a number of cons of which patrons should be aware. Menus are in Italian and QR codes on the table link to an English menu. But with no free WiFi in the restaurant, English-speaking tourists who don't have international Internet plans are out of luck. The Una Guatosa Marinara pizza is very good, but it has raw garlic. It's not roasted nor marinated to take the edge off of this pungent topping, and the Parmesan is quite sparse. Like all European restaurants, even during a heat wave you have to beg for a sufficient amount of water. Most of the employees are short with customers and act like they don't want to be there. But you'll enjoy a meal here if you're nearby and craving a hip pizza joint.

Menu: 3 kinds of pizza and a "Pizza of the Day"

After a long day of exploring the city, this was a great way to end our day! It's located down a short alley. As we walked towards the brightly decorated restaurant, we were warmly greeted with a flute of chilled Prosecco and a small toasted square of crispy bread with melted cheese. This was the best welcome to any restaurant I've ever walked into! We were escorted down a narrow stairway to a surprisingly large area with tables and brightly painted walls. There is a QR code on the table to access the menu in different languages or you can request a menu. There are only 3 choices of pizzas plus a daily special. Our server recommended that my husband and I split a pizza with the option of ordering another pizza if we wanted more. One was perfect for us! We split the special : burrata, olives with red sauce - it was fantastic! Our pizza arrived within minutes of ordering. Our server gave us a receipt with our order so we could pay and leave at our own leisure. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment!

There's dine-in and takeout options. The restaurant itself is a cute little area with about 8 tables and a nice yellow, lively decor. The pizza itself was light, fresh, and delicious. The tomatoes were so fresh and juicy and the pizzas were only about 7 euros each! Great spot.

By far the best pizza I've ever had. I've search this pIzza place on the internet| tripadvisor and of course Yelp. The dough was so so god and the topoings are its best. Staff ate very very nice. I even recorded them kn video and they were happy people who just express on how nuch they love what they do. It is always packed and crowded. Waited for about 15 mins most but all worth it. They indoor and outdoor serving but I liked the indoor. I want to see kn how they made the pizza and how they cooked it. They have free alcohol drinks before after, oh so good. If you are travelling to Milan, Italy this Piz restaurant shiuld be on your bucket list.

White and Margarita Pizzas

I tried a few pizza places while in Milan, and this one was by far my favorite! They had a really small menu, but my guess is that's because they put a lot of energy into the pizzas that they craft. My friend ordered the white pizza, which had a very unique flavor, as it was garnished with lots of herbs. She wasn't a huge fan, but I thought it had a unique flavor. I went for the traditional margarita and loved it - have to say the high quality ingredients were on full display. We arrived shortly before close, so the staff was starting to clean up as we finished up. On our way out, my friend mentioned to one of the waiters that the last time she was there, she got a free limoncello shot. We were in luck - he turned around and grabbed 2 free shots for us, even as he was busy closing down the restaurant! Great hospitality!

Simple, but perfect! I found Piz on the internet before our trip to Italy and was looking forward to trying it--they did not disappoint! My husband and I walked to Piz after touring the Duomo. They had lots of outdoor tables set up, which felt perfect in the pandemic era. Piz is right next to the San Sebastiano church, so you are sitting next to a beautiful stone building, adding to the atmosphere. They get busy, so I recommend getting there when they open or soon thereafter. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. As others have noted, they bring you a small glass of prosecco as a welcome as well as a pizza bite. They only have three pizza options on their menu--they keep it simple, but perfect. My husband ordered the Margherita pizza and a beer; I ordered the marinara pizza and a glass of wine. The pizza crust was crisp, but not hard, and the sauce was sweet. After we finished eating, the server brought us a small glass of orange liqueur. When you are ready, you take the paper ticket they put on your table when they deliver your drinks and pay for your meal inside. The staff at Piz are creating a welcoming, fun atmosphere and their food is simple, but excellent. What more could we want? If the small menu suits you, this is a strong recommend.

The best Pizza I ever had in Milan just melts in your mouth! Visit Piz via turino! It's very busy but no need to book appointment. Very accommodating staff especially the staff cooking pizza. The pizza comes with prosecco and a melon cello or lemon cello after shot! The place was clean they have a basement sitting and outside sitting area. I will definitely go back here when I visit Milan.

Mozzarella Pizza-8 euros
Samantha B.

Great place and authentic pizza-they only have 3 to choose from and they're about 8 euros, went there in a Tuesday night around 9 pm and it was packed, ordered a couple mozzarella pizzas to go and was given a small glass of Prosecco while waiting. Overall, perfecto!

I literally wrote 4 paragraphs and Yelp glitched and deleted my draft…read more Please make sure to ask them to charge you in Euros because we didn't get the option by the owner and he charged us in USD which costs us more. He's been in business for 44 years so obviously he knows but still charged us in USD which is kinda shady IMO. We decided to dine here due to all the reviews and photos posted. When we approached the restaurant, the owner immediately said "Ni Hao" which I thought was kinda racist. What if I wasn't Chinese? Mink felt offended but we committed to dining there so we did. He asked if we wanted to dine inside or outside. Since it was chilly for Mink, we opted to dine inside where it was 90% full due to a Chinese tour group. They all had the same dish so we figured preset menu for them. I wasn't sure what I was going to get but since they all ate the Ossobuco con risotto alla Milanese in Crosta, I decided to order that as it was one of the dishes I was considering. Mink ordered their Spaghetti ai frutti di mare. I'm not sure why but the owner exclusively took care of us. He also made it a point to bring a photo over of Jay Chow saying he's dined there 4-5 times in the last few years. Maybe that's why the Chinese tour group eats there? He was arrogant enough to brag about how much money he's made because of Jay Chow. There were lots of celebrities that dined there from what gathered looking at his wall of fame. I bet he didn't charge any of them in USD *smh* The Ossobuco con risotto alla Milanese in Crosta was really good and probably the best we had in Milan. They must be able to make this dish with their eyes closed at this point with the daily Chinese tour groups dining there. Their Spaghetti ai frutti di mare was decent but didn't have as much seafood in the dish as other restaurants and the flavor was about average. The bread and EVOO offered was legit though! I loved it and I normally hardly ever eat the complimentary bread. Food is good overall and customer service felt extra. If we didn't get charged USD, wasn't getting bragged to about how much money he made off Jay Chow and wasn't greeted with a "Ni Hao" then the place is 4 stars. Since all that did happened, 2.5 stars.
