We had such a great experience with Joe & Mai. After booking on their website, Joe was quick to contact me about our party. They were very accommodating with our requests, and even let us choose a special image for the painting instruction (the image was a bit complex, but they found a way to make it easy for our group of mostly 3rd graders). They even accommodated the boys and toddlers in our group who were able to choose a ceramic or gender neutral image to paint. I was super impressed with how kind and professional they were throughout the whole process. The day of, Joe let me come early so I could install a small balloon garland/backdrop as well. During the party, Mai did an amazing job keeping the kids engaged and was so kind and patient. She not only instructed the painting step by step, but had an opening game & ended with some music and dancing. They had so many thoughtful touches like the "keepsake" canvas with my daughter's name on it at the end. What a great party! We had my daughter's 7th birthday here and chose the glow in the dark paint/dance party. Mai and Joe were so easy to work with and accommodating from start to finish. We received so many compliments on the party. My daughter and her friends had a blast and the parents enjoyed it too! We chose several add-ons like the cotton candy, popcorn, and face painting, and we brought in some of our own decorations. Joe and Mai even helped me set up my own decorations before the party and clean up at the end, which in itself was unique compared to other party venues, and it was so helpful. I usually make my own favor bags but chose to purchase the Pixels favor boxes since they were so cute, much better quality than most venue provided goodie bags, and they even fit our Sanrio theme. Mai was wonderful with all the kids, making the painting aspect fun and successful, and getting the dance party started, as well as keeping the face painting organized. We fit a lot into a two hour party and everything flowed seamlessly. Any planning emails were met with a quick and courteous response, which assured me that the Pixels hosts are organized and reliable. (Not a given at many kids' party places!) This review is long overdue. We chose Pixels for my daughter's 8th birthday we celebrated in January 2024 earlier this year. As I am planning her 9th birthday I thought about her 8th birthday at Pixels. She had a glow in the dark paint, dance and arcade party! Both Joe and Mai were amazing hosts and went above and beyond all our expectations. They have the best customer service and Pixels is so beautiful and clean. I've planned several birthday parties for my daughter but I can say that her birthday at Pixels is by far the most memorable and best birthday we've celebrated. All the kids had so much fun! This is all thanks to all the hard work, details and planning that both Joe and Mai put into the party for my daughter. We recently had our daughter's 7th birthday party at Pixels and the overall experience was great! When I sent an initial inquiry to get more details, Joe responded immediately and answered all my questions. Joe's family was out of the country on vacation, but Joe still took the time to reply back and get me the info I needed. From there, the whole process went smoothly. I just had to put down a deposit, and email them the total number of guests and any add ons that I wanted for the party. The day of the party went great! When we arrived, they already had a cute set up for the dessert table with a Happy Birthday banner and tablecloth. I had been frantically buying a last minute table cloth and decor that morning, but it turned out I didn't need any of that since the decor they had up was already perfect! They also had the kids tables set up with the canvases. Mai was super welcoming when we arrived and she started the face painting as soon as some of the kids started to arrive. Once the majority of the group arrived, they started the canvas painting and Mai was so great with the kids! It's evident that she's a great teacher because the kids (mostly 1sts graders) were listening and following directions well as she explained the next step in the painting. Throughout the party, the kids stayed engaged! We ended up adding the face painting, popcorn machine and cotton candy. The kids were loving the popcorn and asking for more throughout the party so I highly recommend adding this on! The kids were also excited about the cotton candy machine, which Joe spun for the kids after we sang happy birthday and had cake. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a kids' birthday party!! This place was amazing and the owners, a hard-working husband and wife team, went above and beyond to make our daughter's 5th birthday so special! And they pulled it off with one week's notice for a party on December 31st! The place is super cute, complete with party decorations and a backdrop for photos, and offers several great add-on options like cotton-candy and and an old school popcorn machine. The owners were so accommodating and patiently led 17 kids through a ceramic painting class and strobe light dance party! The kids had a an absolute blast! We could not have asked for a better experience with Pixels. We had attended a couple of parties here and my son decided he wanted to go for his 9th birthday. We did the Gaming/Painting combo party which is 3 hours. The kids had a wonderful time. They loved making a super cool painting. My son was set on a Pokemon character but chose a Squishmallow in the end and it came out great. This is a local business and the owners are a husband/wife team. They are both brilliant and great with the kids. You bring in your own food which is our preference anyway. We highly recommend this as a place for celebrations. read more

Easy to book. Great communication before, during and after party. Affordable, as far as kids birthday parties go. Loved that we could bring food and beverages at no extra charge and they had tables set up and ready just for that. Mai and Joe were so accommodating and helpful. They took charge of the kids at the painting table and guided them to make the painting activity fun, easy and timely but never rushed, pressured or discouraged the kids creative processes! After painting time, they dried the projects while the kids ate and did cake! There was even 20 minutes left of our time slot after all the fun so they turned down the lights and put on a strobe light and some music and had a quick dance party!!! We just celebrated our daughters 8th birthday here and it was a total hit, exceeding expectations! Mai and Joe are the sweetest! From the start of just the planning phase, every email and question was answered immediately and throughly. I booked the place and planned the party without seeing the venue because they made it so convenient, I trusted them from the start. The day of the party, Joe helped me set up everything perfectly before the guests arrived. Once the kids arrived, Mai captivated the attention of 17 eight years olds for one hour, instructing them seamlessly. She's a pro and her positivity and enthusiasm was clearly a plus! We then had pizza, cake, cotton candy AND a little dance party- all in an hours time. They are so professional and sweet, never pushing any additional services or issues. They are transparent in pricing and fostered such a positive, happy environment the entire time. Every parent there kept asking me where I had found the venue to host this awesome birthday party. We just had out kid's 9th Birthday here. He loves painting and drawing and I could not say enough good things about this place! They even helped out when my moody little artist freaked out about a mistake. Parents are welcome, there is room for food and snacks, the Owners/Hosts were beyond kind and so wonderful. There is an amazing gaming option for a party too with 6 TV's and game consoles for kids to play together! We would 100% be using that next year if we were not moving.
