We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night and were able to snag a table in the busy place. We setup in a cozy corner and began looking over the menu. Our waiter stopped by and we immediately knew he was going to be top notch. He was so friendly but very chill and seemed like he was reading our minds when it came to suggestions. After finally deciding, we placed our order and were impressed by the speed at which our food came out! It was fast for a sit-down restaurant! While we devoured our meal, which was INCREDIBLE by the way (I had the meatloaf and it was delicious!), our wonderful waiter continually checked in to see if we needed anything (but not to an annoying level). Then the manager (I think?) stopped by and even the owner (which I found out who he was later) asked how things were. And it wasn't a check-the-box, they were genuinely interested in making sure everything was to our liking. The restaurant/bar-ish is a bit of a mix. It has a bar feel but is right on the cusp of being something more upscale. And they should embrace that because their food and service level support something leveled-up!
