A grilled cheese might be basic, have burnt bread slices and gets soggy quick, but Plaza's version oozed like nobody's business. The egg cream was another major hit. The milk+seltzer +vanilla syrup all mingled flawlessly. What's more, all the ingredients were perfectly chilled. In the past they used to offer a large fishbowl drink for your birthday. It was huge and took several people to drink it. Currently it is the size of a large cup as you can see in the picture.
