Wanted some Greek and there really ant much in this area. So decided to try the chipotle of Mediterranean. Not hard to find. Lots of parking. Staff was nice and helpful. Menu is bowls, pitas mostly. Chicken, beef, falafel, hummus, baba, usual menu items. I got a chicken gyro with tzatziki, lettuce, tomato, feta, white sauce. It was good. The white sauce is like a ranch. They roll it in a pita. Could have used more sauce but it was good. Pita was a tad dry. I got the combo and added fries and Dr Pepper. The fries were hot and good. Overall decent affordable meal. You can eat inside there are about 10 tables. Not big seems to be mostly take out. They had a steady business while I was eating. Decent place. I'd go back. read more

Pittaway has delicious food. The chicken is tastefully seasoned, the ingredients are fresh and the service is excellent. Can't say enough about their hummus and their pita away bowls. Everything we ordered is delicious. The only downside to pee away is the cost. A family of three can walk out paying upwards of $50. That might not be unusual in the economic climate. read more

The food was EXCELLENT! Flavorful with tons of options and huge portions. The service was fast and polite. Lots of young people working who couldn't answer all the questions we had about the menu. Food is good but not great. Portion size was good for the price. Rice could use more flavor and was a bit dry and same with falafel. Service was good and efficient. I could see the bag on the counter, and after waiting for two subsequent patrons to order and get their food I was asked what I would like (?) Stopped in for a quick lunch while in town. It's like a Qdoba meets healthy Mediterranean food! I got the bowl with a little rice with toasted almonds and lettuce as my base. Topped it with the fresh grilled dark meat chicken and lots of my favorite toppings. Their white sauce is excellent and ask to try what you want to, they were great about letting us sample first! The Tourish (pickeled cabbage) was a really nice new surprise for me. I have never had it. I did a pick up order. When I got home, my first bite of food I found a hair. The lady that answered my call was very nice and apologetic and resolved the issue. When I came back to pick up my reorder, the staff was beyond irritated and uninterested in helping me. My reorder was left on the counter and I was told it was "over there". The food there was delicious! I love Mediterranean food and I notice there is a lack of Mediterranean food places in Grand Rapids, so this was right up my alley. The food was pretty fresh and the fries are made to order. The Dearborn (shawarma): 9/10 The chicken tasted Smokey yet light (they grill the chicken). I love the Pita Way White Sauce and the pickles have a nice crunch. I personally docked a point because I wasn't the biggest fan of the texture of the pita but overall for the taste and price it was amazing! Fire Fries: 9.5/10 These fries were amazing! They are a little on the pricey side for a smaller portion but the taste was good. The chipotle sauce and their feta cheese went really well together. The fries were a little bit soggy but I personally prefer my fries like that. Pita Way Bowl: 10/10 I love the customization with the bowl, everything tastes very fresh and went so well together. The hummus and the tahini sauce really brought it all together. It might seem kind of pricey but for the portion size and the quality I think it's pretty worth it. I also love how it comes with a free side of pita. The service was amazing! The staff was very helpful and kind. They are definitely one of the most friendly staff I have ever encounter and I love their suggestions they made to my order. The ambiance was pretty basic for any small restaurant. This definitely gives a feel for a fast food as it is a chain. There is not that much seating or privacy so I would recommend taking it to go, or honestly eating there wouldn't be so bad. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to try Mediterranean food, I think this would be a good start. I haven't tried many Mediterranean places in Grand Rapids but in general I think this is a good basic place. read more

This restaurant just opened and I am very impressed! The food is amazing and the staff was helpful and friendly. We will be back!
