We ordered 2 burgers and a milkshake for takeout. They said the order would take roughly 15-20 minutes which it did. The burger was great. I love the freshness of the veggies and the pickle just does its job of adding that acidity. The banana milkshake was super. They made it using fresh bananas and it was a thick shake which I love. The bathroom is not my favorite. It does its purpose but there is a very strong urine smell and is quite small.

I recently discovered their salads, and the first time…read moreI ordered one, I wanted to jump on Yelp and tell the world that Boomer's has an amazing salad. Unfortunately, every chicken taco salad I've ordered since then has been a disappointment. I love that you can customize exactly what you want to add--or leave off--your salad. At around $8, it's a great value. You get a ton of food, and it doesn't hurt that you can add extra romaine lettuce, tomatoes, and other toppings at no additional cost. However, I've come to realize that it all depends on who's preparing it. Bring back the person who made my first salad, because the last three have been so bad that I started to question whether I actually had a great taco salad at Boomer's in the first place. One salad was mostly romaine lettuce with very little of the other ingredients, even though I had requested extra of everything. They also forgot the tortilla strips and the salsa. Come on--it's not a taco salad without salsa! The other two salads I ordered barely had any chicken in them. If I didn't know better, I would have thought I had ordered a salad without chicken. Boomer's, do better and pay attention to the details. Consistency matters. This could have easily been a 4-star review if you had been consistent with the four taco salads I've ordered. The other photos in this review are from years ago when I thought burgers were the only thing worth ordering at Boomer's. Who knew they offered salads too?! Based on that first salad, I'm going to give you another chance, Boomer's. Here's hoping you can make my next salad as memorable as the first so I can give that 4 stars!!

I've heard of El Pollo Feo, but hadn't had the chance to check 'em out until I recenty found myself drawn to K2 on a sunny Saturday afternoon. I ordered their basic smash, which was just $10 (a screaming deal in today's economy). I did pay for quite the generous $4 side of fries, too. It was allll so good. The smash burger was dripping with cheesy goodness, and the shoestring-style fries were perfectly crispy, salty, and a lovely accompaniment to the burger (and my Oktoberfest beer). I will most definitely be returning soon and trying one of their other burger options. They also have chicken burgers!

I gave it one more bite, and even the grilled onions were terribly flavored, how is that possible? Soggy bun, oversalted burger, super dry on the edges, awful flavor. I'm sure I must have caught them on an "off" day, but I won't risk it again. I even had to go to my favorite smashburger joint the next day to "heal" from the experience. I was worried I would be turned off burgers for life. Super sad to have to report this, but I'm somewhat of a burger expert. :( Update: I ordered the Mary Plain Blige on April 28, 2026

Randy ordered the ranch fried chicken sandwich and he said it was ok. He didn't really like the garlic fries he ordered with it. Corina ordered the Fiamma cheeseburger and said it was ok. She also didn't enjoy the garlic fries and neither of us liked the ranch. I ordered the mini burger and asked for Swiss instead of American cheese but that's not what I received. We're in kind of a hurry so when he offered to have it redone correctly, I declined. The burger was ok but definitely would have been better without American cheese. It's a mouth feel thing for me - I don't like it. I also ordered onion rings. They were good. There is a long communal type table in the middle of the place with some 2 and 4 seater tables around that. We won't come back because we've had much better and not paid $70 for it. Just not worth the price.
