Yes, another satisfied Crisp Beef Burrito consumption! As the slogan goes " ANY TIME IS A TACO TIME "! Stopped by for a taste of taco prior to heading access the pass. Ordered a Crisp Beef Burrito, crisp beef taco / no tomato and oh boy was it tasty. Nothing better than meat , cheese lettuce and a deep friend shell to get your taste buds moving in the morning. Super fast in store order and didn't have to look for clean table. Staff had that crisp beef burrito & taco in a bag in my hand before I could even get the lid on my drink. First time here. I was informed that Taco Time NW is NOT the same menu as plain old Taco Time. Regular Taco Time I do not like much. This place - I enjoyed their crispy burrito and the different options for sauces. The tots are tots like anywhere else. This tip culture for fast food puts me off and MUST END! This is fast food and not a sit-down restaurant. There is no need for them to bring me my food and would be more efficient for me to get it like other fast food places. July 6th update: again much better experience today than previously. The floor was not slippery and the tables that we walked past and sat at were clean. I did use my own disinfectant on the seat and table; however, this time no crumbs. Lunch was as tasty as always but at times it appears there is a specific food preparer that skimps on ingredients. Not this time. The wrap was bigger than usual and difficult to hold without items dropping out...and not just the end but the side/middle. Don't get me wrong I'd much prefer additional ingredients then not enough...but perhaps a measuring device would aid in making the wraps the same/similar size each time. I had not had a Taco Time Vegetarian Burrito in a few years and suddenly remembered enjoying them. It was dinner time and we were about to leave Bellingham and hit the Highway so we drove through, I ordered the Vegetarian Burrito, and it did not disappoint?! Flour tortilla filled with refried beans, shredded cabbage, sunflower seeds, I omitted the Ranch dressing. My hubby ordered two soft tacos and was also very satisfied. Taco Time is probably my favorite fast food chain. I love their environmental focus. Last time I was there everything was compostable. I think that's great. I came to this Taco Time chain restaurant for dinner on a Friday evening after work. From the outside this place looks a bit dated but I decided to give it a shot. Parking was not an issue and I noticed there was a drive-thru. Once inside, I ordered a fish taco and was pleasantly surprised. The ingredients were fresh and the fish was crunchy and well flavored. Mmmmm good! I don't come here often, but when I do, I wonder why I'm not a regular. This is the only fast food place that I visit. The vegetarian burrito and mexi fries are my favorite. And call me simple, but I get super excited about the pop dispenser. So many flavors and options! Vegetarian? Gluten free? Fresh ingredients? Yes. Yes. And yes. I love Taco Time. They're always consistently good, and I favor this place much more then Taco Bell, and this is because it actually tastes fresh and not as synthetic as Taco Bell does. My favorite item to get here is the "Chicken Soft Taco". Absolutely addicting, and the Mexi-Fries are a great accompaniment on the side. Never had a bad meal here! GOOD SERVICE, nice employees, and the place is clean and atmospheric. Doesn't cater to children like Taco Bell, so it's a lot calmer inside. Nice dark aesthetic with comfortable seating and the best tasting soda machine in town. Food is always cooked fresh, good portions, and is just plain delicious! How a fast food chain can make me a better more authentic CA style Burrito better than actual local Taqueria's is beyond me! People seem to gripe and moan about Taco Time being so expensive, but it's the same price as anywhere else? These days a Big Mac, Large Fries, and a Large Drink is bordering on $8, it's no more expensive at Taco Time. Compared to Taco Bell it is (literally) a couple dollars more, but you don't have to be near a toilet 15-20 minutes later. Being a transplant from California Taco Time was a new restaurant for me. Shortly after arriving in Bellingham almost two years ago I gave them a try. The beef taco I ordered was disgusting. The meat had the consistency of sawdust and wasn't edible. I tossed it in the trash after one bite and have not been back since. Flash forward to today.... For the past week or so I kept seeing Taco Time commercials for their new Baja coconut shrimp taco. I was curious. The commercial made the Taco look great but I was skeptical based on my previous experience. I decided to bite the bullet and give Taco Time another try. WOW! I was very impressed with the Baja coconut shrimp taco. It was delicious. I also had an order of Crustos (fried tortillas dusted with cinnamon and sugar), which despite the name were also very good and not greasy. No stranger to Taco Time myself, I was thrilled to find an extension to the chain with such a home-y feel and welcoming air. The dining area caused me to reminisce in feelings of warm nights in log cabins, providing comfortable seating as well as moderate privacy from barriers between booths. Even the layout of the kitchen when viewed from the counter is open and friendly, seeming to welcome you into its gleaming chrome arms. The staff were much the same, giving quality service with a charming smile. For dinner this evening, I partook in a chicken soft taco, complimented with the signature Mexi-Fries, and a cup of water. The taco was nothing short of sensational, with deliciously fresh vegetables, well-cooked meat, and an even distribution of sauce and cheese throughout. The Mexi-Fries were just right in temperature, and were an excellent side for my taco. Despite intimidating nature of the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, finding water was a simple and pleasant experience. Overall, anyone looking for a fresh new take on the Taco Time experience would be able to find solace in this Bellingham location. When I was sitting going to school up at Western, my friend and I would frequent this Taco Time about once a week. We usually went on Tuesdays or Thursday and thus named our weekly dinner event TTT, T3, T^3, or some other variation on the triple T trip. The restaurant itself was pretty recently built, and the arrival of this location was definitely well received by us. The building is really clean and the interior is really nice and well laid-out (minus those weird tiny trash bins near the door...how am I supposed to fit all my trash in the tiny hole?). Once I accidentally dropped an entire full soda during a TTT trip...it slipped out of my hand, bounced off the booth seat, and splattered all over the floor. Since my friend and I were the only ones in the restaurant I couldn't blame it on anyone. That sucked. But they cleaned it up pretty quickly... Eventually TT hired this annoying employee who liked to talk to us a lot when we came in. He was tall, lanky, and talked way too much. It started out that he'd try to be funny at the counter when we ordered, which wasn't so bad. But it eventually led to him walking around "cleaning up," yet really just walking around so he could talk to us about WoW and other things that we DID NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT BECAUSE WE WERE THERE FOR GIRL TALK!!!! Of course, we are both too nice so we humored the kid, but GOD...he was so annoying. I definitely don't miss him. Located close to WWU- This Taco Time has a unique benefit of being a location that tests new menu items (like donuts). The store is clean, the quality of the food is incredibly fresh and they deliver food to your table. The chicken tacos have about twice the amount of toppings as other locations. First visit to Taco Time... ever. Ordered the crunchy beef taco and the natural chicken taco. I thought the beef taco was pretty solid for a fast food taco place - certainly beats the pants off of Taco Bell, in terms of the quantity and quality of food. No skimping on meat or toppings at Taco Time. The natural taco was much larger than I expected, more like the consistency of a burrito too, with a soft whole wheat tortilla, beans, veggies, and ranch dressing. It was super filling, but again, a pleasant surprise for fast food Mexican. On top of the good food, the drive thru service was super friendly. They gave a dog treat to my pup while we were waiting for the food to come out. I've never had that kind of dog-friendly window service! Also, I really appreciate how their website is honest about the nutritional content of their food too - no digging around to find some buried, illegible font size 3 PDF document that takes 15 minutes to load and 20 minutes to interpret. Instead, the site offers up all of the nutritional info as soon as you select the menu item. That makes me feel like they are at least honest and proud of the food they offer. Being from Southern California, I'm pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food. My expectations were low, but once I got over the fact that it wasn't going to be the style of Mexican food that I'm used to, I was pretty impressed. The got drive-through here and drove all the way back to my home in Sudden Valley. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was still piping hot by the time I got there. I got the Big Time Mexi Burrito - overall, not bad! Much better than Taco Bell for sure. The tots that the meal came with were pretty good as well. The drive-through workers were very friendly and accommodating considering it was my first time here and I had a lot of questions. As a Texas transplant and a newcomer to the Pacific Northwest, I really didn't have high expectations or any place named taco time. Boy, was I not disappointed! This place was awful and expensive! I ordered their everything burrito, forgot what it was actually called, and it literally tasted like dog food wrapped in a tortilla. That, coupled with a large iced tea, cost me over $9!
