    Order/food prep

Let me tell you a story of this building. Many many moons ago it was a Popeye's. Then it was this other local fish and chicken place called Buckeye Express. Then it just sat there, sad and empty, for at least a year. I am so glad it's occupied again, and with a convenient and affordable Middle Eastern quick-service restaurant! The inside has been remodeled, and while small, is clean and nice. There are probably about 8 tables/booths inside for dining. I didn't realize there was a drive thru (major bonus) so we ordered take out inside. The gentleman who served us was very friendly, and offered us a sample of falafel while we waited! My husband ordered the kofta platter, which at $7.99 was a TON of delicious food. It came with rice, a blend of fresh tomato and cucumber, a big hunk of roasted eggplant, several pieces of kofta, and at least a half cup of creamy smooth hummus. Not only that, a slice of pita bread! Mine was the falafel platter, and for $5.99 was the same side dishes, but with fries and 6 falafel patties the size of a flattened ping-pong ball. You guys - we ate this for TWO meals it was so much, and it was super tasty and fresh too! You could also have just a pita/gyro with fries, drink, and your choice of filling for between $4 -7. The prep station looked very clean, and had a good variety of bright veggie toppings. I hope that this place does well, and doesn't compete too much with Kabob Grill (across the street) which also offers both Middle Eastern and Greek foods. There is room on the west side for all of the ethnic restaurants! If you're in the area, check this place out for a delicious meal that's easy on your wallet.

All these good food for $5.99?!

OMG! Soo much good, fresh food for the price of fast food...I ordered the GYRO Shawarma plate at drive thru and was surprised when he said $5.99-Normally I order that for at least $8.99. Not only that, Food was very good quality and fresh... Love the red cabbage that came with it, too... Thanks Yelp reviewers, I have a new favorite Greek place!

This is my second time visiting this place. The first time we ate inside and today I stopped by using the drive-thru - which is convenient! I love this place! The food is high quality and fresh, and the chicken shawarma is amazing! I also love the seasoned French fries! I took a pic of the shawarma - it's not the greatest pic, but gives you an idea of what they look like.

This is hands down THE BEST falafel pita sandwich I have had outside of the middle east, and I can even go as far as saying it was even better than some places I've had in the middle east! It is THE BEST in the world. Made to perfection, topped off with GREAT customer service, I highly recommend!!!!!

I think that it was sold to new owners. Sandwiches and toom are not as good as they used to be. A shame.

Consistent high quality, clean, quick service. Usually go with the beef shawarma platter and have yet to be disappointed.

Very good food and hospital service. I got the falafel sandwich and they made the falafel fresh! Must go to in Columbus.

Food was the draw for me, and there was plenty and a good variety. I ended up with a combo: steak kebab, macaroni bechamel (a sort of lasagna made with penne, bechamel, ground meat, and no tomato sauce,) a meat pie (ground beef in phyllo dough,) tabouli, hummus, etc. I asked for cabbage rolls, and I think they were extra. They were thinner than I'm used to but pretty much the same thing, filled with meat and rice. All this and a drink was $17, and I couldn't finish it (I came close.) There were lots of kids there, and kid activities, so Baby K was happy. She started dancing as soon as we got there, to the Egyptian music playing. There was a petting zoo and horse rides. There was face painting. She loved it all. We missed out on dessert, but it looked good: baklava and other pastries. We toured the church, also small but very nice. Everyone was very friendly. For a free community festival, it was great. Mostly church members, probably, but eager to show off their culture. I'll be back.

Ali made my experience exceptional from the moment I walked in. He greeted us right away with such genuine warmth and walked us through how everything worked since it was our first time. We got the lamb gyro, chicken Shawarma platter and French fries. Ali also gave us a few sauces to try out. Everything was delicious and not a scrap was left! All utensils and plates and water are serve-yourself near the door. At lunchtime on a warm Saturday in spring they had a steady trickle of guests coming in. The person who took our order thanked us for supporting them. Food was quick and very fresh. I had 1/2 tabbouleh salad and za'atar French fries. The tabbouleh is more heavy on the greens than the grain which was a refreshing change to me. It was dressed in a bright, fresh lemony dressing. More than I could eat in one sitting. The French fries are maybe dipped in batter and fried. I'm not sure. But they are super crispy on the outside and fluffy inside - delicious. The ambiance is casual with various TV screens showing different shows and Middle Eastern music playing on the speakers. The interior is simple but warm and inviting with minimal but fun decor. While the prices are a bit higher than I would have expected, I could see myself returning for dinner.
