Yes, this restaurant just opened its doors this month across the street from my husband's work. The prices are very reasonable and they know what they are doing because all the ingredients tasted fresh. I know this because my family stopped going out to eat lately and started making all Mediterranean food from fresh ingredients. When we as a consumer go out to eat, we do not want the product to have been made hours ago our maybe even days. We expect more out of the business and hope that everything is fresh and made to perfection. We want to know that we have chosen something we can later talk about and say how great the meal was or not. I hope my photos have been helpful because I really hope you as the consumer, will give this place a try. Opening up a new business is not easy and I have seen it from many people I know as well as some Yelper's that have started their own business.

Got Greek falafel salad, CLEARLY is $5.99. Cashier says $6.99, I show her menu sitting on their counter, says the prices change. Illegal!

This place has my favorite hummus in Columbus. Super creamy...Super flavorful! The restaurant itself is cute and very clean. I've only ordered takeout but the vibe in here is nice. Everyone is super friendly and helpful....I usually have lots of questions and they've always been very patient with me. The food is so good. Besides the awesome hummus, the gyro is outstanding. The meat is nicely spiced and very juicy and tender. All the veggies are crisp and fresh. I love picking up to go from here. Maybe one of these times I'll have time to stay and eat in. Definitely good Greek food! Oh...they do have Italian items on their menu, one of these times I'm going to give them a try!

Gyro Platter and Tiramisu dessert

Holy guacamole, that gyro meat was quite possibly the best I've ever had. But, more on that in a few! I have family out I the west side of central Ohio, so, when we decided to go to dinner, trusty Yelp app had this joint bookmarked. PS, While we waited on our food, several people came and picked up to-go orders. A good, steady flow of business. Clean, spacious fast-casual Greek/Mediterranean restaurant. Come in, order and pay at the counter, take your number and wait for it to be called. Fast, friendly service at the counter. I chose the Gyro Platter: Gyro meat and pita bread, small side salad, small cup of soup, hummus, tadziki dipping sauce. I asked the gentleman, in his opinion, which soup I should pick - their spinach soup or lentil soup. He suggested the spinach, so that was that. Reminiscent of tomato soup. But still had big globs of spinach and onion. Very good flavor. The entire, and I seriously mean entire, rest of the offers where delicious! Pita bread was warm and fresh. The hummus was just the right subtle amount of garlic mixed in. The splash of dressing (hints of lemon?) I the small salad, which was covered with ripe chunks of tomato, clean sed the pallet. I could have licked the tadziki sauce of my fingers, it was that scrumptious, not overbearing. The meat was just another giant gumdrop on the buttercream iced cake. Juicy. Oh, and did I mention succulent. I hardly had to chew to break down the protein, that's how moist and tender it was. That platter was so filling, I took half of it home. Oh, almost forgot! Since I'm a sucker for tiramisu desserts, I couldn't resist, when I saw it on KG's menu. Excellent decision!! Light, creamy hints of espresso, not overladen with rum. If I were a spider, I'd totally give that sucker six thumbs up!

Went there a second time and was not impressed like I was the 1st time. Did not finish my food, fish tasted over done, rice lacked flavor

A little messy, but you can tell....my gyro is PACKED with the goods

A must-try if you are in the area. While Columbus is known for the diversity of restaurants, this casual Mediterranean/Italian restaurant delivers in all aspects. Food is authentic and there are many choices. Imagine a chipotle-style restaurant with Mediterranean food. Try the chicken/lamb gyro with your selection of toppings!

I have the gyro philly sub, it's good could use more seasoning. It's pretty loaded for 6.99 I made it a combo with onion rings and strawberry juice. I love the juice. My daughter got the gyro platter for 10.99 and I love the favorites on the platter next time I will try that. My son have the bbq chicken wings that taste like the wings at Pizza Hut to me. My son say he give them a four star lol.

The white sauce was amazing!

Price was high portions were small. Food quality was poor. Employee acted like I was bothering her when I asked for assistance.

King Gyros Greek Restaurant - Salmon & feta Gyro

King Gyros Greek Restaurant

It's been a minute since I had a gyro and King Gyros was 7 minutes away from where I was working…read more I ordered the traditional King Gyro with fresh cut fries and a Greek Custard pastry. Generous portions for the King and just the right amount of onion. Some places go too strong with the onion. The standout was the sauce! Just had a nice garlicky zing to it. The fresh cut fries were a little greasy but still good. The sleeper was that Greek Custard tho. When you walk in you have a case of temptations staring at you. The custard got my attention. Cold and dense custard wrapped in filo dough then topped with cinnamon and honey drizzle. Dang. This thing played with my emotions. Just so good and sticky. I would make a trip here just for this. It all came to about $22 with a can of Diet Coke and it hit the spot. The gyro was in the top 3 I've ever had, the fries I didn't really care for, the dessert selection I would make a special trip for. Solid 4 Stars

Stephanie was at the register and she was quite entertaining while taking my order. I don't usually eat Greek food so I wasn't sure what to expect. She guided me through the menu and made a suggestion of the lamb gyro as the one I should try with feta cheese. I took her word for it and got the king size. Supreme seemed rather large. The line started getting long and a fellow patron advised I get French fries as well. About 10 minutes go by and Stephanie calls my order. She also recommended I add the fry seasoning. Adding the fry seasoning is a must as the fries aren't much without them. Rather small portion size to me as well for the price. The gyro however is large but way to much lettuce. The sauce is good. Overall it's a cool spot. Stephanie was the highlight of the trip for me. It's a one and done for me but cool if you're into Greek food.

Ali made my experience exceptional from the moment I walked in. He greeted us right away with such genuine warmth and walked us through how everything worked since it was our first time. Throughout the meal, he checked on us multiple times without ever being overbearing. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations. The food was also superb. We got the lamb gyro, chicken Shawarma platter and French fries. Ali also gave us a few sauces to try out. Everything was delicious and not a scrap was left! All utensils and plates and water are serve-yourself near the door. At lunchtime on a warm Saturday in spring they had a steady trickle of guests coming in. The person who took our order thanked us for supporting them. Food was quick and very fresh. I had 1/2 tabbouleh salad and za'atar French fries. The tabbouleh is more heavy on the greens than the grain which was a refreshing change to me. It was dressed in a bright, fresh lemony dressing. More than I could eat in one sitting. The French fries are maybe dipped in batter and fried. I'm not sure. But they are super crispy on the outside and fluffy inside - delicious. The ambiance is casual with various TV screens showing different shows and Middle Eastern music playing on the speakers. The interior is simple but warm and inviting with minimal but fun decor. While the prices are a bit higher than I would have expected, I could see myself returning for dinner.
