I really like this restaurant. The chicken shawerma is always good. On a recent visit, I misunderstood the guy making my wrap. I thought he was asking if I wanted rice, but he was saying "fries". When I questioned the addition of fries at the register (and realized it was my mistake), he gave me the fries for free even though I said I would pay. The wrap was excellent, as always. I come to this place every week during the school year. Can't get enough of this luxurious cuisine. The food is so high quality and it's only $10 for a FAT roll. You'd think it's too good to be true. Consistency is key and this place doesn't miss. The staff are great as well (Bill especially is a top class human being) and always make the food with love. Here, the prices are as good as the food. This is probably the best-priced authentic-tasting shawarma in the Columbus area. The parking at this location is terrible. There are only 8 street spots out front, otherwise, you have to park somewhere else and walk. The inside is clean and has nice dim lighting. The customer service is pretty bad. I've been here many times and each time I can't tell if the employees are giving dirty looks or just hate being there. They also drag their feet as they're doing everything. Right before me and my friend were heading out for lunch at Shawerma Bite, my partner told my friend that I actually didn't want Shawerma Bite. What a DIRTY LIE. What I actually said was that I didn't feel like eating there...but what I actually did was go to sleep and wake up with some smarter thoughts, which included wanting Shawerma Bite. Falafel was yummy I love falafel. Very cheap too I love cheap. Inflation did a number on them (costs increased from like $7 to $8 but it eez what it eez). Shawerma Bite serves up huge meat over rice bowls and shawaramas. This small joint near OSU had quick and friendly service with a Chipotle style concept for shawarma. The options for sauces and toppings were vast and the portions were ridiculously big. The crispy meat from the shawarma spit was flavorful, but a tad dry. I grew up in MIchigan, and have had many shawarmas in Dearborn, MI the hub of middle eastern food in the US. I've never had shawarma like this. Best shawarma in Columbus and it's halal. It is full of flavor and so fresh. You can either have in it a wrap or in a bowl. The toum, or garlic sauce goes perfectly with the chicken shawarma. I usually get it with a side of fries, but you can get pita chips with garlic sauce as well. This location is on OSUs campus so usually packed with students while classes are in session; usually get take out. Had lunch with a friend during the summer and it's a nice, relaxing spot to grab lunch. I think they're opening up a smaller location near Sawmill Rd. read more

We came on a Sunday night and it wasn't busy. It was during the last hour of their opened time so we got the end of the barrel. I got a bowl with the chicken and my friend got the gyro meat. You can pick from lots of toppings from hummus to chick pea salad to pickles. They have toppings that cost an extra $1, such as the cauliflower. They don't give you much of the cauliflower so I'm not sure if it's worth $1. They have a few different sauce options and I got the tzatziki sauce. We also got fries and two drinks for a total of $27. Alright priced. The food was okay. It didn't wow me. I was expecting the sauce to be really good and everything was just alright. Well, the fries were really good!!! I would recommend that. The chicken was dry and the flavor in the gyro meat was lacking. The service was okay. The employee I had told me about the extra charge on some of the toppings while my friend was not informed. It seemed as if they were mad that we came within the last hour. This business was down the street from me and I thought why not? The business is newer to the The Wellington Building next to the OSU Target. Heard mixed reviews and was curious to try this fast casual dining place for Mediterranean food. I go through the app, pick the Beef Kabob and hummus w/ pita and waited 40 minutes; which what I expected. Food came in hot and good to go. The veggies in my beef kabob was crisp and the meat was hot. My only issue was the hummus tasted too bland. It could have used more lemon juice (or tanginess) in it. 4 stars overall! read more

This place is excellent! The food is styled "build your own" with the choice of a bowl, pita, or tortilla. Then you pick your protein (chicken shawerma, steak shawerma, gyro, chicken kabab, or vegan falafel). You can then add any toppings you like, and finish with sauces. I would recommend only getting one or two sauces because if you go sauce crazy like I did (pictured below) it's a little overwhelming. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful, and this entire bowl ran me $8.50 which I think is definitely worth it. I would highly recommend the garlic sauce, it was delicious! read more

Just adding my voice to the growing chorus of praise for this place. My girlfriend and I arrived a couple of minutes after it opened on a Sunday (at noon), and were the first ones there. Within five minutes there were five others behind us in line, and by the time we left it was about 3/4 full. A good sign. I ordered a gyro and she ordered a shawerma platter, and we watched as they cooked everything up. I always love a gyro with fries on it, and their fries here are excellent. My girlfriend really enjoyed her shawerma as well, and we both agreed it was a place we'd return to. The location is...interesting. In a way, it's very convenient as it's essentially on OSU's main campus, though that also makes finding parking a bit of an adventure. I'm very glad we came on a Sunday, as I can only imagine the difficulty during an active semester. Still, the restaurant doesn't feel at all student-oriented (and I say that with no disrespect whatsoever for students), and is in line with most good gyro / shawerma places I've been to. This place is undoubtedly the best Greek/Mediterranean sandwich place that I've had in Columbus. It's Chipotle style - meaning that you pick the meat, toppings, and style that you want (bowl, tortilla, or pita). Toppings and meat were fresh and delicious and their wraps are unique but quite tasty. Serving sizes are bigger than most traditional Greek places. Also, the fries are among the best in Columbus.
