I had a serious hankering for good Greek food and tried a couple places yesterday that were just okay and didn't quite hit the spot. Then I stopped by The Crazzy Greek, and that absolutely changed everything. The spanakopita was extra flaky and delicious, the Greek salad was simple but incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the lamb kabob was tender and perfectly cooked. Even the rice and vegetables were seasoned exceptionally well. Portions were generous too -- enough that I've got salad and kabob leftover for lunch tomorrow. Whenever I'm in town, I'll definitely be stopping by again. read more

Was seriously craving a chicken gyro... but sadly the chicken was super dry and just kinda meh on flavor. I had high hopes based on all the great reviews, so that was a bit of a letdown. On the bright side, their house dressing? Incredible. The mozzarella sticks? Totally worth it. Fries were average, but the staff was friendly and the inside has a cool vibe (love the mural!). Overall a solid 3 stars. I want to give it a 4 so bad, but that chicken needs some help. I'll be back though, I can tell there's potential here. read more

My brother and I send each other birthday feasts on our birthdays. It's a tradition going back years. This year might have been the best because he sent me a huge spread from Crazzy Greek! It was a decent looking place and the service was friendly and efficient but the food was awful. I ordered the Hummus Chicken Shawarma. It was supposed to be chicken grilled with onions, tomatoes and banana peppers over hummus with pita on the side. Nothing had any taste at all except the banana peppers which were over-abundant. I got take out after finding myself needing something for dinner while in the Polaris area. They have a huge menu, but my go-to at any Greek/Mediterranean restaurant is just a regular gyro so I went with that. The gyro is super reasonable (~$7) and a side of fries is around $3. Add on an extra tzatziki and the total was around $11. I got the gyro without tomatoes but it came with banana peppers on it, which I wasn't expecting, but I like banana peppers so it was a nice surprise. The gyro was good and I would get it again. The fries were definitely above average and had a really nice crunch. All in all, I was happy with this place. read more

For more years than I remember, this has been my far-and-away favorite place to get Mediterranean food. I have ordered at least a quarter of the menu at this point, and the food is consistently delicious, always made to order, and always ready quickly. The space is small, but the ambience is exactly what you'd want in a small neighborhood restaurant. The owner and his family are incredibly kind as well. He and I were on a first name basis within a month of me becoming a regular, and now I look forward to being greeted every time I walk through the door and getting to ask how our respective families are doing, what's new with my truck, or how my work is going. Crazzy Greek continues to be my "go-to" place for Greek food. I haven't "dined-in" at Crazzy Greek in recent years but their take-out is almost as good as eating in. My personal favorite is a Jumbo Spicy Gyro with Greek fries. My wife's order is similiar but she opts for the regular (i.e. non-spicy) version of the gyro. The staff is always pleasant and cheerful and my order is always accurate. Service is quick, prompt and professional and the food is always hot and delicious. read more

I love Greek food, and Crazzy Greek is a great option close to home. The gyros are delicious with a nice amount of sauce on them. No feta included, but still plenty of flavor! The fries are seasoned nicely. Occasionally we splurge for some baklava, and it's tasty! We didn't bother with a kid's meal because the regular gyro combo is not that much more, and the kid's meal includes a fountain drink anyway. If it were milk or apple juice, we might go that route instead. Next time you're hankering for Greek food, give Crazzy Greek a try! read more

Crazzy Greek is yet another Greek restaurant in the Westerville area. It has lots of competition, but this seems to be pretty popular. This is located next to a bar, so it may explain why. It's pretty good drunk food. The food is actually okay sober. I had the falafel pita. It's about $6 for the regular. The falafel on it is plentiful, unlike other places that give you a few small pieces, burnt to a crisp at that. It isn't the classiest place. The restaurant is located in a strip mall next to a bar filled with yahoos. If you want cheap Greek food this is an option. It's located pretty close to Polaris, near many other similar concepts. This location isn't glamorous when comparing it to the mall area, but it does have the advantage of being a good value. read more

I ordered the falafel pita sandwich and seasoned fries. The falafel tasted incredibly bland and so much more was needed than the house dressing to make it flavorful. The fries were really salty! My hubby agreed they were salty, and he loves salty fries. We got a piece of the baklava, and I don't know what was up with it, but the taste and texture were off. All very tasty, especially the rice which has hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. The tzatziki sauce has a hint of something I couldn't identify that made it delicious. However... one of my all time pet peeves with restaurants... the food was NOT hot. Even the fries were lukewarm at best. Why is it so hard to serve hot food?
