This a cute little Thai restaurant in the memorial area but it packs a punch with flavor! Their menu has a wide but not too overwhelming selection, and they have the usuals you would find at most Thai restaurants. I LOVED their spicy fried house special tilapia! It was exactly what I was craving and how I imagined it would taste. The fish had a light airy fry to it, they serve it with rice on the side. Mix the rice with it to soak up the spices and sauce. Also the portion was pretty big, I had to take the rest home but definitely looking forward to my leftovers! My bf ordered the pad Thai and it's not the best pad Thai I've ever had but it was still very flavorful and the beef was very savory. The pad Thai was not overwhelming sweet which is good. Definitely will crave it from now on, it was also a large portion and very fulfilling. read more

Beat local Thai I've ever had, if you want to try several things I would recommend you try the lunch portions as they come with soup and roll and a small salad. Very good start before your main meal. The staff is very friendly and always have a smile on ! read more

They have daily lunch specials and I get them all the time. Great value, good food and service always! I've never had any issues. The red curry is my favorite. read more

Got there at 7:57 pm today. This guy said with an attitude, "We close at 9 pm." We said okay, that's fine. The same guy walked us to the table and said with an attitude again, "remember we close at 9 pm." My husband said let's go. Why put that you close at 9 pm if you don't want to serve anyone at 7:57 pm?!! We will never go back to Pinto Thai. read more

Looks like they don't need our business... ordered 100 dollars worth of take out. Came at the appointed time. Was given attitude: go and wait in your car, we are not even open. It will be another 30 min past pick up time. When I tried to reason with them I was told that I am going to be listening to them as they listen to people like me complain 5 days a week... what? No customer service, drab outdated decor. I guess they are still doing great if they can treat customers this way. read more

Really good food. Cheese rolls, yellow curry and one of the best pad Thai chicken I've had.

One of the best in houston. I absolutely love everything about this place. From the moment you walk in to the moment you get in your car to leave. Service is the best, food is amazing & ambience is always calm and relaxing read more

Great little lunch spot if you work in the area. They have a good menu and are fairly quick to get food out.

This is our family's favorite Thai restaurant for dinner. We have been going to Pinto for the past year and we get consistently good food and the staff is very courteous. Food comes out really fast. Our family favorite dishes are massuaman curry beef, fish cakes, fried crab rice and green curry pork. Today we tried the satay chicken and we really liked it. They have a lot of pick up orders. Seating is always easy and we always get a booth by the window. read more

I really do like Pinto Thai. I think that they have decent lunch prices. And they are pretty fast during their lunch service. I've been to two Thai places in the area so far. Pinto Thai is definitely on top for the current time because of their Pad Woon Sen. Pinto Thai is good for your small lunch group if you work around the Energy Corridor. From my perspective, I think they serve decent sizes for their lunches. I've never had Pad Woon Sen before. But, I think I've found a new favorite Thai dish. This is made with cellophane noodles. It really is a basic stir fry of common Thai ingredients. The pad woon sen here has caught my attention and I think you will enjoy this dish as well. I highly recommend it. I saw the lunch specials ordered by my guests. But, I don't think they looked as good as my dish. I've seen better Pad Thai at other establishments. But, Pad Woon Sen is a little more specialized and this was the first time I've seen it as a featured main dish offered by a Thai restaurant. Even though I am a fan, I'm going to keep searching for other Thai restaurants in my area. Although I am in love with their Pad Woon Sen, I find that Pinto Thai could use a little more work before I give them 5 stars. I appreciate having good service and being well attended to even though I look young. I will be back when I'm craving Pad Woon Sen. read more

Read some reviews and decided to give this place a try for take out. Of course, I ordered my fav Thai dish, pad kee mao. It tasted ok. I liked the fact that it had fresh green beans in it, it gave it a nice crunch. I do think the dish tasted like it had some concentrated tomato paste, and I prefer the dish made freshly sautéed tomorrow. I did think that the portion was a good size. You can easily eat from it twice. The service is also pretty fast - 10 minutes to complete the order. read more

Pinto Thai - N5. Pad Kee Mao Noodles, beer and shrimp - Thai Near Me - Houston, Texas

Just had drunken noodles and it was the freshest dish. Crisp fresh sautéed veggies: green beans, carrot, bell pepper, onion and mushroom. Balanced perfectly with noodles and sauce. Basil on top and was a great blend of spicy and sweet. I chose to get it with pork. You can choose chicken, tofu, beef, shrimp or squid. One of a kind restaurant. Thank you so much for feeding me that fantastic dinner. Bring the office for lunch; bring your family. A very clean restaurant with fantastic service. Comfort food! read more

this was fantastic! thank you so much for the warm welcoming service and delicious meal.

Delicious thai food in town. The owners, Ricky and Pat are so nice. The foods were great and authentic just like you are in Thailand. I ordered spicy pork soup, chicken wings, spicy crispy rice salad and fermented pork deep fried. We enjoyed the foods so much. read more

I tried Pinto Thai for the 2nd time within a year and I'm upset that I haven't been here more often seeing that it's literally 5 minutes away from me. This time I had the Pad Thai noodles, with chicken and I asked them to make it a little spicy. It was great! There was a hint of lime taste as well that took the noodles up a notch. I would definitely suggest trying this place out especially if you live within the memorial area! read more

My new favorite! The fried rice is delicious! It was hot and fresh! I ate the whole plate

Is okay but not up to par with other Thai establishments. Pad See Ewe had really did have a correct portion of noodle to meat and veggie. Grilled Pork with Sticky Rice was flavorful but rather chewy. Pad Woon Seen was great and the only dish in our takeout that stood out. However, the menu prices are lower compare to other menu around. read more

Ordered to go from Uber Eats last night. The app showed delivery in under 15 minutes, was hungry so decided to try it out. Dishes orders: Pad Se Ew (Chicken) Spring Rolls (Chicken) Green Curry (Chicken) Pros: Green Chicken Curry was flavorful and I would recommend ordering, however the story doesn't end there. Cons: Springs Rolls were a bit small, peanut sauce was good, the sweet and sour sauce... well was just overly sweet. Pad Se Ew looked promising, however when digging into it, it had broccoli, took a bite and tasted like rotten fish. Took another look, smelled the dish & the vegetables smelled sour & very fishy. We had orderd all chicken dishes, not sure if it was late and they were closing trying to get this last order out before they closed or what was the situation in the kitchen. We ended up with a mild case of food poisoning & well.. you get the point. read more

Very good neighborhood restaurant. We eat here usually at least once a week for lunch or sometimes carry out in the evening. Their lunch specials in addition to being quite tasty are a very good deal. Our favorites on the menu are the yellow curry, cashew chicken, crab Rangoon, and Chinese egg rolls (these differ from the egg rolls that come with the lunch special, I'm sure those are fine, but we love what they call the Chinese egg rolls). read more

I tried Pinto Thai and ordered Thai fried rice, Yum Nur-Thai beef salad, and House special Thai Catfish. The experience was mixed. 1. Fried rice was very bland, no Thai seasoning at all. 1 Star 2. Yum Nur-it's more curry flavored vs the lime cilantro most Thai places serve. It's matter of preference. 3 stars 3. Thai catfish. Battered and fried into cubes. The was the best. Tasty and semi crunchy. 4 stars. 4. Service met expectation. There were only 4 customers during our dining. 5. Atmosphere and cleanliness is what you would expect. Nothing exceptional but not bad. 3.5 stars. Overall is 3 stars. read more

Groupon brought us here. Typical Thai food. Our order: Fried dumplings - fried too hard but ok Shrimp pad Thai- noodles too wet & soggy Yellow curry - standard but good It's a little out of the way drive for me and the prices are a bit high but most Thai places are. It's worth a try especially if you live close by. read more

Momentary panic when I thought they weren't delivering to my house anymore: their food is a delight! The Pad Woon Sen noodles and the Pad Thai are everything you would hope for from a Thai restaurant. Delicious! read more

I would recommend it! The service was quick and efficient; as soon as we sat down a waiter came to collect our drink order. The food was delicious as well - we ordered the Spicy Pad Woon Sen and Drunken Noodles. The only thing I would have changed about the Pad Woon Sen was adding a little more variety with vegetables. I also ordered a Thai iced coffee and it was delicious! The atmosphere was pretty casual - it's a great lunch spot. The price for the lunch specials were incredibly reasonable. read more

We quit going for a while, because they must have had a new cook. Everything was bland and sweet. We've been back a couple of times recently and ordered take out on Friday and they are back on their game! They are very crowded at lunch. Nice dishes that involve all your taste buds, just like Thai food should. read more

Pinto Thai is a neighborhood restaurant in the Energy Corridor and it's a mixed bag: if you know what to order, you're golden. If you don't, it's mediocre. We had the chicken wings appetizer which was fantastic- nice and crispy with a tasty sweet glaze. The other appetizer we shared, the beef satay was so-so. Not sure if it was the seasoning or the quality of the meat, but I've had better satay. Just lacked some flavor. Had a bite of the drunken chicken which was about average but my pad see ew was out of this world. The sauce makes the dish- a brown sauce mixed with noodles, egg, broccoli, and Chinese broccoli with your choice of protein. They have duck as an option but were out this time which was too bad as this isn't something you usually see at Thai restaurants. Service is friendly, bathrooms are a little run down. If I lived in the area, this would be one of my go-to takeout spots. read more

I like this Thai place. The pad kee mao is pretty good, my tom Kai soup was just ok, but not bad, the larb wings were really good also.

This place always has amazing service. They tend to only have one or two people in at a time acting as waiter/server/cashier so you may not be seated immediately upon arrival but your order and food will definitely come out quickly. Again I have to say that one of the best qualities about this place is its service. The menu itself is reasonably priced at around $10-$14 per dish which is about the same as most Asian restaurants in the area. Definitely look out for groupons if you want to save a little money (usually a $12 for $20 deal). The food itself is quite delicious. Being a Thai restaurant most dishes are prepared with some type of herb, onions, and peppers. I recommend trying out the sweet/sour chili sauce they have in these little jars. You may have to request them but they are definitely a must and go with most dishes. I would recommend getting the Thai tea for a beverage, tom yum soup or trying one of their many fried rices. read more

First time eating at Pinto Thai Restaurant. I ordered Tom Yum Shrimp (cup) and Chicken wings. Tom Yum Shrimp is very nice and quite flavorful. It comes with 3 fresh large shrimps and mushrooms, which is very good compare to the price $5.95. They use bigger shrimp compare to other restaurants. I give this order 4 starts. Chicken wing is very crispy and flavorful. The crispy wings are covered with a caramel sauce. I ate it with rice, it's heaven!! I'm quite sure that you will finish the wing before it loses the crispness. Two thumbs up for this dish. 5 stars! Service and atmosphere is great. Servers are polite and humble. Lovely place to have a nice meal! I recommend this place for you all. read more

Just ate some of the best dumplings I have had in a long time. All of the food was Great.

I've had a lot of Thai food in the city and this was incredible. The Tom kha soup was so good. The soft spring rolls were 10/10. The peanut sauce had a touch of spice which was different and delicious. The yellow curry was my favorite. It has so many different flavor profiles and it is hard to stop eating!
