Finally checked out Pinto Thai downtown, and I totally get the hype now. We ordered an array of different dishes to try and honestly everything we tried was so good. It is so nice having options like this right in town. If you've been meaning to try it or haven't been in a while, this is your sign to go! read more

Pinto Thai Culpeper - Wonton soup, fried wontons, chickenxpork potstickers - Thai Near Me - Culpeper, Virginia

Absolutely my favorite Thai place in all of Virginia. The Wasabi dumplings are worth the trip alone. Save room for the sherbet at the end of the meal. Service is good and they even have robots bring you the food. You can spend hours finding something new in their decor. Wife and I can't wait to go back! read more

Food is always so delicious. Service is fast and friendly. Love the quaint, creative atmosphere. And the robot that brings you dinner!

I hadn't been in town for awhile, and had a craving for Thai. So glad I did! I got the lunch special sweet and sour with tofu, soup, rice, and spring rolls. I brought most of the entree home after filling up on the other items, but I left there full and satisfied. The robot was fun! Lots of staff and great service, too. read more

Pinto Thai Culpeper - Lunch sweet and sour with tofu, soup, rice, and spring rolls. - Thai Near Me - Culpeper, Virginia

Always great. Staff is friendly. Food is amazing. Always a pleasure to go there!!! I'm sure you will enjoy everything including the decor.

Delicious appetizers and entrees with the family! Service was friendly and exciting with a touch of friendly and warm environment to enjoy with a nice meal with our family. The exciting service was seeing the little robot bring your plates to the table making it a nice touch for those gathered to discuss. We had the fried vegetable dumplings, Kung Pao Gyoza with the drunken chicken noodles. Next time definitely getting the Thai hot as this was listed as hot but didn't come close. But always recommend to start on the safe side than going in a blazing and not being able to enjoy A definitely must and return to on the list, when in Culpepper, VA. read more

I have to be COMPLETELY honest about my late lunch meal. Be aware, Im going to list a few things we all have in common. There are days when you say: Im not using my credit card, today is cash only. You'll also say, "I need something, low in calories, yet well seasoned and filling". And, you'll add - but within walking distance because I'm on a roll and can't go home. Then, let's place you downtown Culpeper. Now, let's start LOL. Today, I had $20 in cash, didn't want to go home yet, and wanted to feel satisfied but not too full and sluggish. What's that you say? Impossible. Wrong! Today, Pinto Thai Culpeper saved the day by gracing me with their culinary skills, yet again. Here we have a simple yet flavorful lunch. I'm still eating it as I type - that's how good it is. Couldn't keep it to myself. Please order: coconut soup, veggie only + a small egg riced rice. Honey, listen - $15 and you're golden. and you're welcome. read more

Let me start by saying I love Thai food and think of myself as a sort of connoisseur of the food type. I had wanted to try this place for awhile. We finally got out to Culpeper and I was not disappointed. Holiday decorations were up and the place was so cute and festive. The bumble even greeted us the door!! Food was prepared well and promptly delivered by a little robot. So fun! Is it the best Thai food I've ever had?! No. But it was very delicious and everything was freshly made to order. I would highly recommend trying this place out if you are in the area, even if for the ambiance alone. read more

Heard so many things about this place so we decided to make an hour trip out to finally try it. It's in a very cute historic area of Culpeper. We arrived and were warmly welcomed and seated. The menu itself is massive. It felt like a JcPenny Christmas catalog. Probably too many options, but I liked the variety. The food was very good but I will say the servers weren't very attentive after we made our initial order. I had to wait and make a hand gesture to get them to come over so I could order a second drink. I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea and when it arrived, there was literally NO alcohol in it. Luckily I was able to walk to the bar and they fixed it. Maybe they thought I wanted a virgin? Overall, a solid little spot that we enjoyed and would probably return to if we were in the area. An extra star for the hilarious artwork in above the men's urinals. read more

The quaint, delicious little Thai restaurant I never expected to find in Culpeper VA... The coconut soup was so full of flavour, umami, sour, creamy, and full of ingredients. Pad see ew was a little salty for my taste, but full of flavour and ingredients as well. Service was prompt and friendly, and the collection of ?tiffens? made for interesting decor! read more

The menu prices are priced higher than they need to be, no clear indications of what oils and products are used in the cooking process so I can only assume the cheapest processed soybean oils based on the taste alone. Also the plastic containers they use are inconsistent and some release VOCs into the food so if anyone here is health conscious I'd avoid this place until they can clear up what exactly is in the food and that should go for any restaurant, it's not normal to eat something not knowing what's in it. Anyways the pad Thai is good, but that's it, just good. I'm from NOVA and the Thai out there is cheaper and better flavor overall. read more

Expensive Thai place in Culpeper. Even the Thai restaurants in Manassas and Fairfax are cheaper. Just multiple options on menu and I visit when work is paying. Else would skip for other options. read more

Ahhh Pinto Thai one of those places you just know will always be good and consistent every single time. I've been eating here for the past 5 years now if that says anything. The service is definitely consistent as well, it's not over the top but I've never had a bad experience. The ambiance feels warm and cozy inside, the booths make it feel easy to enjoy your meal. I will say the prices have definitely gone up over the years, but honestly... I haven't stopped going and don't plan to anytime soon. The food is amazing, the drinks are amazing, and the menu continuously grows. If you're looking for a reliable go-to spot with great flavors and consistency, Pinto Thai will always have my heart. read more

Pinto Thai Culpeper - Appetizers and Crispy Duck. - Thai Near Me - Culpeper, Virginia

We visited for lunch on a recent Thursday in October. The restaurant was busy, but we had no trouble getting a table right away. The menu is extensive with many pages of entrees, apps, noodle dishes, curry dishes, veg dishes, meat/poultry/fish/shrimp dishes, desserts, and drinks. Seating is available outside, too. The service was attentive and excellent. We opted for a noodle dish, a Thai fried rice dish, and a curry dish, all from the lunch menu. The curry dish was my favorite. The fried rice dish was good, but the chicken was a bit dry and was not too flavorful. The noodle dish was a bit lacking in broccoli. The included apps were great - a tasty chicken skewer, a nice spring roll, a wonderful wonton soup, and a crisp salad. Overall, a nice experience. read more

Very solid Thai food in the heart of Virginia. My wife and I stopped in for lunch on our way to Charlottesville. All Thai staples are here. I got the drunken noodles with chicken. My wife got the vegetable pad thai. Both were well executed and the portions were very generous. Service was friendly, welcoming and efficient. The dining room was clean with an eclectic decor that made me feel comfortable and at ease. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in town. Great value! read more

I'm sad I don't live closer, but lemme tell you it was worth the 1hr 40min drive!!! I visited with my cousin who recommended this cute little town and the Thai place with robots. Call me intrigued! And boy did it live up to the expectation!! My cousin told me it would be worth it to order an entree for here and one to go. Great call. SoI tried the Pas Se ew with chicken in house, then Pad Thai to go. I always love to start with the staples to gauge the place. Now I'm happy to veer off and try their other options! My cousin got two orders of the papaya salad because she said it was as good as when she was in Thailand and this was the first place she found that did it right. So needless to say, I'll be back. Not only is it a fantastic food spot, but it's nestled in an adorable town! So you can walk off your yummy lunch or dinner up and down the street visiting the boutique shops. read more

Came here for lunch with friends on weekend and we got seated immediately. Service was pretty quick and they have the serving robot which was kind of cool to see. I got the nasi goreng which out of all the dishes my friends and I got, I think was the best. The rice was well done and the skewers went along with them really well. It was very flavorful and all of the things with the rice were evenly dispersed. The portion size was pretty large too. read more

Overall, 4.5 stars Drinks - we got the grass jelly thai coffee and the Boba Thai tea. (We thought it was too sweet) Papaya salad was delicious and spicy... but not so spicy where you won't enjoy it. The eggplant and minced pork (forgot the actual name of the dish) was tasty and great paired with the white rice. The shrimp tomyum fried rice was well flavored and tasty. It's definitely a great dish. The drunken noodles with shrimp seemed al dente but seemed fresh (it was not the flat rice noodles I'm used to), but it was good. It was a tad too spicy for me, and I love my spice. It had both red and green thai chili peppers chopped up in it, and those definitely added the heat when eaten and made it spicy to me. It definitely made me feel the heat. The other salad we got (minced chicken) definitely forgot the name of the dish was just okay. We didn't like that as much as all the other delicious tasting items. The one salad and the overly sweet drinks were the only downside to the whole meal... Staff was okay, and they had the robot waiter bring out some of the dishes. Pretty nice experience overall. read more

Let me start with the good. The Thai food at this restaurant is excellent! I couldn't make up my mind, so I ordered beef salad, pineapple rice and beef drunken noodles. All excellent. Portions were large too, as was the price. The robot was cute sang happy birthday to many patrons. Unfortunately, my whole experience was ruined at the end of my meal. The waitstaff was reaching over me to take my dishes and began pressuring me to pay my bill and leave a tip. I intended to do so, but was looking something up on my phone before paying. The waitress was standing over me, pointing to the credit card machine and telling me how much of a tip to leave and how to pay. I found it rude and disrespectful. Shame on you! I understand wanting to get tables free when it is busy or when people are waiting to be seated, but this was not the case. Pinto Thai - be mindful of your patrons and be patient with them. Without patrons you will have no business. read more

Delicious lunch! So happy we got to go. Tried to come in a few days before and it was too busy, crazy since it's such a small town but having only a few ethnic restaurant options I can see why they're popular. We had the lunch special, with curry. We shared, and had the pork dumplings as an app. Everything was delicious! I'm picky with how curry tastes and the taste and texture of this was perfect! read more

Pinto Thai. What a wonderful spot to eat. I went on Saturday around 2pm, and it was the busiest place on the street. (Outside seating available). I walked in and was seated right away. Drink order taken, (Ginger Ale) noting to self, there's a bar inside! It's cute with thaiwanese lunchbox lining the walls. Very colorful and makes for a. Ice setting. A great gift for my friend Gigi who is from the Philippines. She'll love it. Anyway, a friendly lady took my order of Green Curry with chicken. Medium heat. It was brought to my table by an awesome robot! (That played music!) Oh My Gosh, I loved it. I got to push tje button after getting my good to send home back to the kitchen lol. - tje Green Curry was smooth and delicious. I wish it had green peas and more bell pepper, but the chicken was good portion, I don't need a lot of it and the bamboo didn't iverwhelm the plate. I think I got 2 slices of eggplant in there, but boy was it good. I'll come again to try something else. I like the place a lot and so did many others. The place was roomy and had a lot of colorful decor to keep positive vibes. read more

Passing through Culpeper, we decided to stop at this Thai restaurant right on the main drag. We were quickly seated, and ordered. The food came out incredibly quickly, almost disturbingly so. We ordered some dumplings for appetizers, which were out in just a couple of minutes. Our entrees, Royal Duck and a Curry were out only a couple minutes after we finished the appetizer. Both were great. The duck was nicely crisped, and served with a delicious sauce. I'll admit, the speed with which the food appeared was disconcerting. I've had longer waits for a McBurger, and it kinda makes you wonder how they're doing it. But, despite the good and fast food, this place lost me forever and quickly. I popped into the men's room after eating, and stuck to the partition for the toilet was this sign, picturing a man climbing over the position to peep at a woman. Ha, ha, so funny, right? So funny, that it's repeated on the door to the men's room, and so utterly hilarious that a gender swapped version exists in the women's room door (presumably inside, too, but I didn't check). Sexual assault in restrooms is a hilarious topic, right? It's SOO FUNNY that we need multiple signs making light of it, dismissing it, or candidly endorsing it. These are revolting, creepy, and just plain on bad taste. It's a shame, the food wasn't bad, but the atmosphere.... read more

Hands down the best restaurant in Culpeper. The food is amazing and fresh. The menu is enormous, with Thai, Chinese and other Asian influences. You can go healthy or indulgent. I highly recommend the duck roll appetizer and the crispy honey chicken entree. Enough for 2 portions, for sure! My parents are obsessed with the fresh and flavorful pad Thai and the specials are incredible. Hardworking, friendly faces greet you with incredible service each and every time. I feel right at home and you can taste the love in the food. Inside it's adorable and clean, with a robot that can sing to you! Outside are huge and comfortable patio tables, which are dog friendly.
