My mom got the filet mignon hibachi and I got an eel avocado roll and an Alaska roll. There was a minor issue with the hibachi rice, but when my mom told them this, they kindly made her a new rice. The steak was incredible. I also adored my sushi. This is a fantastic spot for hibachi and sushi. It seems like most people do takeout during lunch, but it's good for dining in too. Nice to know this place exists in Locust Grove. Very busy for take out. I think if they had a place up front for folks to pick up it would run a bit smoother for the patrons inside. The portions of food are a lot and worth it for the money. Broccoli and veggies could look a bit greener aesthetically but all was smoking hot to the table and tasty! I was a picky eater then, but the hibachi at Tokyo never failed. I grew up, so did my palate, and I moved out after Highschool and left town. We came here because we'd heard it was decent Japanese food. I guess that's a good review because it was just that. I was most impressed with the clear soup. We definitely thought since we had been seated at a teppanyaki table, we would have the show with our food, but it turned out that they just cooked all the food in the back.
