This is our first time here and the staff who run it are very friendly. They cook all the food fresh for you. This is a food truck so they have two tables outside under a tarp for you to sit at but we just ordered it to go. The menu has a good variety of Indian and Chinese fusion, something I have not tried before. I ordered the General So chicken with jasmine rice. I ordered a jumbo chicken spring roll which comes in a two pack. If you pay with cash you get 10 percent off the already good prices. The food has a lot of flavor and is homemade, nothing frozen. We will definitely come back here again. The jumbo chicken spring roll was delicious, you can taste that is was made from scratch. You can taste the freshness in every bite. I Visited this after reading their reviews online, i was having high expectations and to my surprise this place was MUCH BETTER than that. i had sugo de carne with penne which was the special of the week it was so delicious, and so as their fried rice dumplings and green curry which me and my wife had for dinner. I highly recommend this unique Indian/Chinese food truck. It is located behind the cheese shop in Culpeper Virginia. All their food is fresh and made to order. Authentic Indian cuisine as well as Chinese dishes with a little bit of this and that thrown in. I have had most of the items on their menu and I can say that each one has been outstanding. The owners are very nice and treat you like a neighbor. They have everything from butter chicken to chicken quesadilla and authentic chai tea. So I had really high hopes. And from their Facebook page I'll probably be crucified for this review but I was NOT impressed at all. Maybe you'll have a different experience, so let me walk you through what I got, what the expectation and hope was, versus what I experienced. Firstly I have no idea on value because I didn't even look at pricing. I didn't care. This was an interesting food truck in my area and I was sure going to try it. So if you're looking for cost comparison in this review that's not what you'll get. What I ordered: eggrolls, dumplings, chicken fried rice, butter chicken, ginger chai tea, and gulab jamun. The eggrolls were weird. Not bad but not what I expected. They did have flavor but they were packed weirdly so ended up kind of flat and they had a lot of oil still in them so being in a plastic container until we got home made them... well no longer crispy, so that was disappointing. The combination of the weird way they were packed, making them loose and flat... and the overabundance of remaining oil made them fall apart. It just wasn't enjoyable. The dumplings were nice. Sauce was good, although the super tiny cup they give you means you can't dip them which makes things weird and messy but the flavors looks and texture were on point. The chicken fried rice.... I'm not a fan. I love fried rice. I only ate 2 fork fulls of this because it just wasn't enjoyable at all. The flavor of the spices they used was more intense even than what I'd expect from a biryabi which is why I did NOT order that... you couldn't taste any of the meat or vegetable, just... spice. I mean it was a bit spicy but that isn't what I mean. They just used too MUCH spice in it. Not heat.. spice. There was no complexity of flavor it was just one solid gut punch. I did appreciate the amount of vegetables they used, and that they weren't obliterated or saturated in oil... but I just couldn't eat it. Butter chicken. I've had butter chicken from a lot of different places. Lots. It's an iconic and fairly safe dish to order if you just don't know what to order from an Indian restaurant. This wasn't even mediocre. the chicken was tender enough, and the sauce looked good but the flavor was just like the fried rice. Too MUCH of the one dimensional flavor so you couldn't even really taste beyond that. Butter chicken has several spices in it and even when spicy you should be able to pick out some different complex flavors. It simply tasted the same as the fried rice. The rice that was served with it... it looked like basmati and that would be traditional but it was severely overcooked and sadly disappointing. Basmati should be fairly loose flowing and light, and this was clumped together and glutinous. Like you could see at the bottom of the clear plastic container that the rice was so mushy it had started to press its self together into being one piece. That kind of rice should NEVER be like that. The remaining things... the tea and the dessert were ok. What I would expect. Not stellar but definitely not bad, but that's just my view on those THINGS, and the preparation f those two things wasn't the reason I felt that way. I may go back and try some different dishes... maybe even try the same ones again. Sometimes a place just has a bad day, especially a small food truck where one wrong thing can just mess the whole flow up. So maybe that's what happened. If and when I go back I'll obviously iusly update. Hoping for a better experience because I REALLY wanted to love this place! I think this type of truck is exactly what Culpeper needs. Maybe my next visit will be better. Here's hoping!! read more

I highly recommend Garam Masala the food is delicious. I tried the lamb shrimp quesadilla and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The couple is so sweet and even offer you some delicious chai while you wait for the food. I was also able to sample the hummus sooo good! Give them a shot you will not be disappointed. read more

We got there just before 8:00 pm and they were still ready to serve us. The folks who run this food truck are really delightful; you just want them to be successful. We tried the lamb curry and it was very good. The sauce was delicious and the naan was soft & warm & delicious. We will definitely be back often! read more
