I have had a wonderful experience here, Kay and Thaddeus have been wonderful servers. Top shelf liquor for bottom shelf prices, and fantastic service from all employees. Patrick was a wonderful manager as well. Jordan was our server at the Bowling Alley bar, and he put smiles on our faces. We brought a friend in from out of town and had the time of our lives. All the arcade games are very well priced, and you can have a great time without breaking the bank. Alaria also made sure that we were well taken care of. Ryan answered all of our questions at the Bowling desk and got us a great lane in the VIP section. If you love bowling, new arcade games I clouding Mario Kart DX, great booze and wonderful food come to Pinstack Plano, and prepare to be impressed. read more

Came here for date night with the hubby and happy hour was great! We ordered the brisket nachos and they were alright. We played arcade games and rented a bowling alley for an hour and just had a blast! Wait was not too long, definitely would come again! read more

Do not eat here in the restaurant, waited over a hour for food on a Tuesday night. Then I had a hair in my beer. Not coming back read more

I like to bowl. This place has bowling but in a fancy setting. I think the price is a lil high but I understand that it helps keep the riff raff out. The food is good. They has a steak that's ok for bowling food. Not as good as Carmine's, a place for steaks, which is my favorite steak place. My wife likes this place too. She thinks it's a place "to be seen" so she likes to get dolled up. I wear my cowboy boot last and jeans, so no real strict dress code. If anyone needs an extra bowler for a league, please contact me. read more

This place has one of the poorest customer services I have ever seen. There is zero communication between the front desk and the bowling desk. Previously, we have attempted twice in person to participate, but we were forced to return due to long waits. When we called, we were informed that there was no wait time and that we could come over, but when we came, the bowling desk had told us that there was a 1 hr wait time. We are a group of 8 kids who are totally disappointed with the way things were handled, as we had wanted to relax and bowl. read more

Played games with the kids and then wanted to grab a bite before heading home. Tough to ruin burgers, fries, margaritas and napkins. Tasteless burgers, cold and hard fries, watered down margaritas and napkins that looked like someone had just blown their nose in them. Won't be back and just gave away $40 in game cards on way out as we won't be back. read more

My husband and I booked a lane and ordered from the menu while we bowled. It took a LONG time to get a server, especially for a Thursday night at 5pm ("nonpeak time" according to their website). We finally had to flag one down. Our food came fairly quickly but was pretty disappointing, even by bowling alley standards. The pizza tasted like it came from the freezer section and the jalapeño poppers literally only tasted like burned bacon. The beer was good and the fries were fine, so there's that. I've eaten in the actual restaurant part once before and did not have as bad an experience, so maybe that's the key. Definitely won't be eating laneside again. read more

The bowling was fun but the beer was stale. Even more disappointing were the Mac and cheese pops. The sauce was bland and the inside was more consistent with plain rice than pasta with cheese. I'd probably come back to bowl but I definitely wouldn't waste my time with the food. read more

So the bowling is a rip off at $34 per hour where you can bowl some where else for less than half the price. The iPad they use are terrible at tracking time went for waiting for 1.5 hours to 2 hours instead. I don't know why anyone would even want to try this place let along brining their family here since somewhere else is always better and cheaper. read more

I literally just had my son's 8th bday party here and we had a blast. The customer service was SUPERB! This place is beyond amazing and most of all my birthday boy was smiling from ear to ear the whole time. My oldest son will be having his party here as well lol. Thank you guys for making my son's bday even more amazing! read more

I called about playing a few games and was told it is 34 dollars per hour per lane. The pins must be made of gold. Unbelievable. read more

Came here for a date night and had a great time! Games, bowling, rock climbing, laser tag was so much fun! Recommend getting there early in case you are put on wait list for bowling! Can't wait to come back! read more

We had the most HORRIBLE experience here for our kids birthday party. To start off - the attendants assigned to us seemed like they had never done this before, and were completely lost. We missed out on 30 minutes of the alloted bowling time because no one showed up to fix the lanes and get kids started. Appetizers were supposed to be out for parents while kids bowled - but nothing showed up. A few appetizers came in 10 minutes before our bowling time ran out! The rest were given at cake cutting - and we had hungry kids + parents. Very embarrassing. When we spoke to the manager - she was not even apologetic and had the audacity to say that the issue was because the kids were indisciplined. Lastly, the main cake cutting was not organized - and we had to micromanage every little thing. All in all - very pathetic - never had such an experience in all these years. Would not recommend to anyone for kids birthdays. read more

My sister and I had a great time at Pinstack. This is not your mother's bowling alley or the video arcade from your childhood. There are so many fun things to do. We are in our 50's and felt like kids again! Bumper cars, laser tag, and the rock wall were all great. My personal favorite was the ropes course! Talk about facing your inner fears! Couldn't do it all, but feeling proud for trying. Be sure to try the sliders in their very nice restaurant! The beef was delicious!! Can't go wrong here with a family night out of a fun place for just an adult evening. read more

Pinstack was the perfect venue to host a group of teenagers for a party. Jill in group events, was quick to reply to all questions and get the party set up! When we arrived Clayton, our host, had game cards and wrist bands ready to go, so all the kids had to do was start having fun. The party packages are great with unlimited pizza, soda and mozzarella sticks the first hour of bowling, which is perfect for hungry boys. Dana, our server never let anything run low and checked on us frequently. We will be back and would plan an adult or corporate event here in the future too! read more

We celebrated my sons 4th birthday last weekend, booked it way in advanced and had everything planned out. We thought once we got there Pinstack would make sure everything ran smooth but that was NOT the case at all!! We spent over $600.00 and it was the biggest waste of money I've ever spent. Still makes me angry thinking about it. When we got there our bowling lanes were supposed to be open at 4:00, we had to wait 15-20 minutes for one of our lanes to open up bc people were on it, we never got water tea lemonade like all the other parties around us, we constantly had to ask random servers for drinks etc. we had 17 people in our party and we ran out of drinks over and over no one would refill our pitchers or ice bucket that was completely melted. I think my boyfriend and I spent more time chasing down the wait staff then we did talking and bowling with our friends. Not how it should be spending that much money. I've spent way less for a way better party atmosphere. When it was time for the food to come out our waitress spilt all the chicken strips all over the table and never asked to bring us fresh ones, totally disgusting. The brisket tacos were ice cold no one could even eat them. It was time to sing happy birthday and we had asked the waitstaff to bring a knife and some cake plates, it took over 20 minutes we ended up cutting the cake with a fork. I hate the fact that before we even got there they had ran my debit card without even asking me, it was going to be ran on a different card & since the tip was already included before the party even started it made since why we couldn't get anything to help us. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! We will stick with the Plano location, I've had amazing experiences there and will not be returning to Irving. read more

I had a great night here loved VIP service. Such great atmosphere ,family friendly and very clean. All the staff and managers were great. Special thanks to Darnell and Mac for helping make my special day great. read more

Great experience!!!! Thank you for taking care of my family. I had family come in town for a birthday on short notice. 15 people. Manager Josh made sure everyone was happy and comfortable. The food&service was GREAT! THANK YOU read more

The only reason I couldn't rate this a 5 was due to our food and drink order not being placed by our original server who was subsequently very difficult to find. Jeffrey however was exceptional in getting our food to us and making sure we were ok. He didn't even work in that area, he deserves a raise!! Also our ball got stuck and service took a while. BUT, they gave us 10 min of free play to compensate. Hopefully newly opening hiccups that will be fixed! read more

I took my team here for our annual team get together. From start to finish the staff at Pin Stack was very helpful and attentive to our needs. We elected to do one of their packages that offered bowling, food, drinks, and dessert, as well as player's cards for 14 people. The food was wonderful, the facility was excellent, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. read more

I expected Pinstack to be like any other bowling place, but I have to admit that I was impressed! I'm not a gamer, but the arcade is pretty epic! I expected the possibility of laser tag, but they also have a rock climbing wall, bumper cars, and some interesting bowling game options. The thought of incorporating a game of HORSE in bowling wouldn't have ever crossed my mind, but it is a genius idea! One of the managers, Josh, showed us how to get set-up on the game. Josh was incredibly accommodating and he even brought out a bowling ramp to help my 3-year-old niece. Josh also suggested that we try the truffle mac & cheese, which I would highly recommend (it doesn't have the bitter truffle after taste). Great portion sizes on all of the food, and it was all very tasty. Crinkle sweet potato fries are always a win! I will definitely return to this location and I am considering holding a corporate event in the future. read more

Great concept: bowling, games, new and fresh. The food is a mixed bag. The pizzas are passable. The brisket tacos are about a 7. The loaded potato skins were pretty good. The chicken fingers...frozen from a box...disappointing. Large draft list and so so wine list. Go for the fun and not the food. read more

My son went here for a birthday on a Sunday afternoon. My daughter and I stayed and bowled and had snacks. The atmosphere is fun. We had pretzel sticks. They food and service was okay. We were able to get a lane right away about 12:30/1 on Sunday afternoon. That all said, the price was insane. With the average service and the extraordinarily high prices for bowling, I wouldn't come back here - although both of my kids would! read more

Planned a last minute event with Pinstack for Veterans Day and could not be happier! From the sales manager (Jill) through management and all the way down to my server (Nesa), everyone was an absolute dream to work with, especially with my last minute requests and questions. I had a group of 14 people, ranging in ages 20s-30s and they could not stop talking about how much fun they had days after we left. The packages are definitely the way to go! Highly recommend reaching out to their event planners and going with a package, they were very adequate for our group with fair pricing. But besides the facility and all the fun activities, what really blew me away was their amazing customer service. My sales mgr (Jill) was so helpful and flexible with my busy schedule when calling, she answered all my questions and was very clear, concise, and professional. My host (Josh), the general manager (Emma I think...) and especially my server (Nesa) are the dream team! With a group of 14 and a 2 hour open bar, they were quick with delivering drinks and anything else we needed. Even when there was a tiny issue with our cards, they worked as quickly as they could to fix. Even after we had a 2 hour open bar with 14 people, they were professional with us when voicing any concern! Top notch!! Will definitely go back and promise not to cause too much trouble - we were celebrating a veteran afterall! read more

This place was awesome. Food was surprisingly very good, bowling was fun, and Lauren and Tiffany are wonderful bartenders! Great conversationalists and are very good at their jobs! Will definitely be back read more

Amazing service! Came with a group of friends and the staff at the bar were so helpful to me and my friend who do not drink alcohol. Matt was so entertaining and kept us well serviced. *****Update****** Today I went back with essentially the same group of people as my first post. The management is definitely very well run and I really appreciate the hospitality and follow through to have us experience what this place is all about. We walked in and had two lanes to bowl in for an hour; which was a blast! The food was very good- burgers were actually cooked medium as opposed to the well through a lot of places do. The drinks were so much better this time as well. We had a variety: makers and sour, whiskey and soda, watermelon margarita, Corona-Rita, and some wine. They were well balanced and enjoyable! Also the arcade is where we found ourselves reminiscing on our childhood and enjoying ourselves most. From bumper cars to rock climbing, to PAC man, this place has it all. It's a giant arcade with so many options for whatever you like. This can be a place to take your significant other for a date night of lots of fun and interactive activity, but is also great for a family game night as well. Truly has something for all ages and was a whole lot of fun. Only suggestion would be the staffing. It seemed like the servers on the lanes were a little sparse and spread thin for the night. But our server was great and very accommodating. I want to thank the GM and services manager for communicating with me and convincing us to see and feel the full experience- well worth the opportunity for a second chance at a first impression. I will be back to enjoy the bowling and fun soon! **************************************************** I went in with high hopes. What would be better than m food, drinks, games, and bowling!? Well I never even experienced much of the latter. The drinks and service were enough to drive me out the door. Issue number one is that a non busy bar had three bartenders never come to the end of the bar where myself and 15 other people came in. And after I got my drink I wished they never gave me one. They built a drink that should have been shaken, over poured to the point of it being undrinkable, and the bartender never muttered a single word. I'm not expecting perfect cocktails from a place like this, but when I pay $10 for a drink I surely expect it not to be undrinkable. Probably won't be coming back because of the poor service read more

Our kids and their friends love Pinstack in Irving. We took our kids and 11 of their friends (all ages 10-12) there yesterday to play video games, climb the rock wall, go crazy running into each other in bumper cars, and balance their way across the structure that is closer to the ceiling than the floor. During the time we were there, my husband and I had a great time hanging out in the restaurant. Our server was great. She was friendly, fast, and checked in enough without it being too much. We just had a couple appetizers while there, but the salsa was particularly good and the prices were beyond reasonable. Overall, it's a very easy and convenient venue to spend an afternoon when you have a pack of kids to entertain. read more

Took my family there just before peak time on Friday and we had a GREAT time. Decent arcade, climbing wall, bumper cars and bowling. We were the only ones bowling with kids and they had a great setup...separated by a curtain from the rest of the folks; bumpers popped up automatically for the kids and went back down for the grown ups' turns. Staff was great. We'll definitely be back. read more
