Great place to hang out with the family! We went half-price game night and had a blast in the game room as well as enjoyed a game of bowling. The staff was accommodating, the lanes were well maintained, and the venue was well-kept. It also had a great looking menu although we didn't get a chance to eat... would like to see a couple more lightweight ball options in the bowling area for the younger crowd but other than that- kudos! Chose this place for a day out with my granddaughter and it was definitely a great choice. We all had a blast. The attractions are top notch, and the atmosphere keeps you entertained just by being there. Staff is awesome, we were always checked on and happily helped with any questions. If you're going with no plans it works out great however if you're dropping some heavy money and pay for a party package NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!! They have zero options on the sequence of events for your party, they give you the order that works best for them. They give only 45 mins for the "party room" you set up your own decorations however you can't set them up ahead of time and are only let it "on the dot" of your schedule time so essentially you don't have the 45 mins. Everything about the party package is not ideal for a kids birthday party. You are all better off having everyone meet you there and just have fun. They lose money without the flexibility on the packages, parents would stay longer, order more, and overall spend more time and money there; maybe they'll smarten up! If you're a serious Bowler or expect any kind of service keep driving. We went on a Wednesday night around 9pm. We bought 1 hour of bowling we had to push the service button 3 different times each time someone would tell us a waitress would be right over. We had to complain to a manager, we eventually ordered a drink 45 minutes later. Let's talk bowling, Sticky approaches, no oil on the lanes when I asked about the last time they were oiled. I was told last week, I think. These lanes were so bad people were bowling with the bumpers up. I soon found out why anything other than a plastic ball is going curve right into the gutter. I've been to many bowling alleys but this was the worst I've ever seen. We had to find a manager just to pay for our drinks, the kids working there have no idea what they are doing. Compared to other entertainment centers Pinstack has leverage over the others as they have bumper cars, rock climbing, a ropes course and a full dine in restaurant. Went with a group of friends Saturday night had a blast with the games in the back but, horrible service the manager assisted us by fixing our complaints and messed up food more then our actual waiter. Our waiter wasn't attentive, our drinks were wrong, and so was two of our checks. Before paying someone in my group found a long black hair on our fried pickles. As the waiter took our cards we showed him with his response being " so you're going to go ahead and blame that on us" took the hair off the food and dropped it on the ground. I came here for a trivia night with friends. The service and food were not great. The waitress shared she was really busy and seemed very put out by having me order food and a drink. My food came much faster than my drink. I ordered the chicken street tacos and with chips and salsa. The tacos were terrible and literally only had chicken and clumps of cheese. There was no sauce or any other ingredients and the chicken was super dry. The chips and salsa were also underwhelming. The waitress forgot about my drink and I had to ask for it again. We stayed and played some games in the arcade which was fun, but I wouldn't go to eat or drink again. read more

I visited this location for the first time on March 2, 2021. As I was leaving, the big metal box that is on top of the entrance doors (the thing that swings the door) broke & the metal bar piece came down & hit me full speed in the face. I temporarily lost my vision & honestly thought someone was ambushing/attacking me because it was so sudden. The manager & hostess were great & got me ice & advised me to go to the hospital to make sure my eye was ok. The corporate office was terrible, sent me a letter from a lawyer saying they weren't responsible & to contact the people that repair their doors. I am actually studying business law & it IS their responsibility when it happens on their property & they are hiring subcontractors, at that time I was not in school & did not know this so I told them to pay my small medical bill just to be done with the awful man. This man literally said on the phone, "So, I hear we had a little incident" really condescending & laughed while having a "well what do you want me to do about it?" attitude then had the gall to offer me an all expense paid experience if I came back, lmao like I ever would. My eye has a deep scar & still hurts in that area to this day & I never got an X-ray because I didn't want to pay for it if they wouldn't pay my medical bills so who knows how bad the damage actually is. For the price of things to eat, and do I would expect this place to have more class. For starters the arcade games are more expensive than Austin Park, Spare Time, and Main Event. For the standard price of most drinks I can get close to a picture of beer elsewhere. The bowling prices are pretty close to the highest in the Austin area. Instead of the system being able to tell you that your time is up, someone yells for you like the cops are coming. We were gyro bowl here despite that but when we got our drinks all of that changed. I asked for a beer with none of that dressing stuff and I get a beer with dressing. We all got our drinks but never got the water we asked for. I ordered a chip and salsa and had to order it twice. Then my sister-in-law ordered a Sunday style drink and it was missing the the brownie. Douglas decides it's a great idea to grab it from with his bare hand wherever he got it and puts in her drink like we were bothering him. First off, I don't care how many times you wash your hands, if you do something like that you don't have respect for me as a customer or cares to give about me as a customer. Found this gem after having a bad experience at Top Golf. little did I know this place was hidden not to far away. From the moment We entered Pinstack service was on point. Plenty of things to do bowling, laser tag, arcade, rock climbing, rope course etc. Kids had a good time and our server Storm was on point. Even met the manager Myles which was just as friendly and made sure we were all having a good time. I'm sad I am having to even write this review because I honestly have enjoyed myself every time that I have been. I like this place so much that I tried to make a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday. I saw on the website that reservations had to be made online Friday through Sunday. I attempted to make the reservation and it the website would not allow me. The following day I called to make the reservations and was told by an employee that I needed to come in and make the reservation if it would be 10 people or more. Today I drove 30 minutes to come in a make a reservation I have been trying to make since last week. When I arrived I was greeted by a nice young lady at the front desk, I explained to her that I spoke to someone earlier in the week and they told me to come in to make the reservation. She brought in a manager who spoke to me in a very dismissive tone and said that I needed to make the reservation online. As I am trying to ask another question she proceeded to begin talking to customers who came in after me. I have never been treated in a such a dismissive and rude manner. basically a casino. it's clearly designed to milk money from customers. if you want to bowl or arcade in Austin, there are places here that make that the primary purpose: your entertainment. Pinstack, on the other hand, is only interested in taking money out of your pocket. not only will you have to wait to bowl (an hour for us, on a sunday), left in the meantime with nothing but more money-sucking activities and the tempting opportunity to drink copiously (the lights and sounds will give you a headache even under the best of circumstances), but the lane itself does not even feel like it was designed for bowling. there are none of the usual arrows or indicators, and the seats are so close together that you and your lane neighbors will be in each other's laps--or you would be, if you weren't instead sandwiched between two pieces of plexiglas. it feels like being a museum specimen. furthermore, you pay by the hour for your bowling lane; on weekends, this means you can expect a minimum price tag of $40/hour, excluding shoes. if your game is not finished after the hour is up... too bad! it will get cut short, and you will be told 8 frames in, "Thanks for playing! Please come again!" and let's discuss the... gee, "service" seems a generous term. the disinterested (likely overworked and underpaid) staff will stand in front of you for a full 10 minutes without saying a single word to you, despite prolonged eye contact and an obvious desire to be helped. oh, and then there's the unforgivable "convenience fee" on their arcade card kiosks. buying and filling your card costs a dollar for the so-called convenience, despite there being no other way to fill the card ($10 for 40 points, or roughly 5 games depending on what you play). if you're looking for a good time in austin, i can PROMISE you there are much better options. go to pinballz, go to cidercade, go to highland lanes or dart bowl. just don't waste your limited time and money on this wannabe casino. read more

Wow, just WOW!!!! This place is TERRIBLE!!! I have never been treated so poorly! I suggested to my friends that we try Pinstack as we wanted to go bowling and play some video games. I was originally introduced to PINSTACK when I toured it just before COVID-19, my work was going to rent the entire place out for one of our quarterly parties. After my experience here, we will never be renting PINSTACK out.When we arrived, we were told it would be about a "45 min wait" for bowling. We were fine with that so we ordered one round of drinks and a couple appetizers. I had to track someone down to bring us napkins and they acted like I was putting them out. When we were done eating we decided that to maybe to expedite the line we would pony up and get a VIP lane. We were told it would be about a 20 minute wait. 2 1/2 hours later, after us asking multiple times when we're going to get to bowl, they finally take us to the VIP lane. They apologized that they forgot about us and our reservation and to make up for it they won't charge us the VIP price, but they still charged just a regular price even after forgetting our reservation!!!!!!!!!!The waitress was incredibly rude she never came over to see if we needed anything after taking one drink order and one food order. I had to track somebody down for napkins, for utensils. Then they have the audacity to start putting up all the all the chairs when we're bowling making us feel completely unwanted there. The kicker, after waiting over 2 1/2 hours they shut our lane off in the middle of us bowling. This place is fucking terrible. I asked multiple times for to go boxes since we weren't allowed to stay anymore and finish all the food we ordered.
